Just want to let you people know my case to help ease any worries. I’m 18 and I don’t normally take enimas, it’s actually been years probably. But anyway, about a week and a half prior I ate some food that was probably contaminated and I had loose stool for like 3 days straight even though I wasn’t eating so a doctor told me to take loperamide which slows down the moment of the bowel to absorb more water (opposite of laxatives) and I stopped going immediately after. However a common side effect of this was constipation. So after taking loperamide, I haven’t gone to the bathroom for about 4 days. Eventually I had a little bit of stool after but it was very very little. For the next week I had very little stool even though I was eating back to normal. Eventually I started getting more pain and the feeling of having to go #2 but having no success basically when trying. Then tonight I felt like going pretty bad but I could feel the stool in my rectum but I wasn’t able to push it out so I basically had a (fecal impaction) which is just a very hard / large stool blocking the colon or intestines. I then got this fleet enima (I recommended watching a tutorial on how to put them in) and I only used about half the bottle and stayed in a laying position for about 40 seconds because it became really uncomfortable. Then I went to the toilet and it was still a little hard but it passed much easier and I felt instant relief about 2 minutes after. All I will say is taking the enima is a bit uncomfortable but 9/10 you will feel 10x better minutes later and there’s nothing to worry about. I know these topics aren’t very comfortable for some to talk about but it’s never fun when your constipated and in pain and there’s no need to add fear on top of it so I hope this was helpful.

Recently found out I have diverticulitis caused by my on going battle with constipation since I was a kid. Took me 3 days since coming out of the ER to actually get this enema done lol. This video got me to just buck up and do it. You are so calming and just all around real! Thank you so so much!!! I watched and read everything about enemas, but your video was the winner! Thanks again :)

This helped me out so much! I was constipated for 2 days and couldn’t sleep. I went to my doctor because I was so stressed and in pain. They told me use dolca lax and ex lax and hopefully in a few days I should be good. So as a last resort I watched this video and purchased one of these. It was easy to use and didn’t hurt. It gave me so much relief and helped me sleep that night and then the next morning I was able to have a bowel movement. So next the next time I had the same problem I again bought one of these and soon after using it I got relief!

This stuff really works. Please if you are suffering, give it a try. I was in so much pain, my very very tight poop got stuck in my anus after medications for a ruptured ovarian cyst... poop wouldn't go in ,wouldn't come out..what pain.. and for some reason it blocked my bladder. Couldn't poop or pee, felt like i would pass out. My doctor told me to use fleet enema.. just one squirt in and I had to rush to the bathroom.. and then after some struggle, it felt like a big block of something felt out of my body. And then I sat and peed for 15 minutes.. both trapped poop and pee out.. i was actually sweating and after it was over i felt like i had delivered a baby and had to lie down. This stuff saved me. I am feeling so light now.

I've been on this horrible medication now for 6 years that causes HORRIBLE constipation! my belly is swollen and bloated 24/7 and I feel awful. My husband decided that we had to do something because using miralax or whatever wasn't doing enough so this Fleet thing arrived today but I am SO fucking scared to use it!! I'm so scared it's going to cause some damage or make me sick, or not even work. But mostly scared of something bad happening!! I am trying to work up the nerve to use it but it is taking a while so I decided to go to youtube to see if there are any videos about it and I am glad I found this one! it helps my fear a little bit. Thank you for being so open about all this and talking about it in depth.

Hope Ur feeling better today sweet. Due to my Spina bifida I'm dually incontinent (have no control of my bladder or bowels.) So I'm unable to hold the enema liquid inside for long enough for it to take effect. So I don't get any relief from them. *Gross alert* I have got so bunged up before I vomited up poop. I have as yet undiagnosed GI issues that means I go from months and months of constipation to months and months of uncontrollable diarrhea after eating literally ANYTHING. I have little to no control over any of the rectal or abdominal muscles. I have a supa pubic catheter(urine) and I have to wear pads(wot you guys call "adult diapers") just encase I have an accident. I love watching your vlogs. You help me see that I'm not the only spoonie out there. Sending you loads of love and hugs from me and my 2 furbabies in England 🇬🇧🐶💪

I have a multitude of medical conditions and illnesses (physical and emotional/mental) I think we all have our difficulties and challenges in life that we have to contend with on a daily basis. Its how we deal with them that makes the difference. My way of looking at life is that there is always ppl worse off in the world than myself. I'm in England so I don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I hope that you have an awesome day and give thanks for things like YT etc that helps us to feel less isolated. Im actually kinda glad you made a vlog about constipation....because i suffer from it, severely 😂 and its nice to have someone to relate to 😝 i might look into enemas if you don’t get the terrible feeling of cramping. Because the only way i can really relieve it is using laxitives and i mostly dont take them because i hate the cramps 😂 this sounds a lot more gross sounding out loud.... (and yes, i love the feeling of being unplugged, ITS GREAT!)

First started using them when I had c diff without diarrhea. They were giving me 1 litter enemas in the hospital and with no results, was a crazy time. This conversation has gone down the toilet lol! At least we hope lol!

Thank you so much for making this video!!! I love how comfortable, open and honest and especially how funny you are with this whole subject, as most people either really don't Want to talk about it or there's the other half that are more of the medical professionals that deal with on a daily basis, so it not as big of deal to them. I could honestly watch you do more "how to" videos, just because I love your whole attitude and outlook on things you're facing/dealing with. You and your husband seem so good together, so much so, that you can even go to each other to do something like an enema, as most couples I know wouldn't even talk about it or have a hard time feeling comfortable enough to bring that up to each other. I lost my husband to cancer last year, but this man would have done anything for me, but I'd still have a hard to go to him with this. Our one and only child, our son, has been dealing with constipation issues as long as I can remember, but dealing with the loss of my husband, (also named Paul) and now going at it with raising our son alone, with all that and his on going constipation issues has just been extremely difficult and heart-wrenching, almost to where it's consuming our lives, then throw in all of us dealing with Covid and all the other changes you face when losing a loved one, as moving to a different house, different school, trying hard to find friends or ways for your child to feel ok about who they are and about life altogether. So thank you so much for helping others feel more comfortable about dealing with stuff like this. Listening and watching you feels just like you're talking with a good friend. So keep up the great work and helping everyone loosen up and smile about who their are and know they don't have to be afraid and face stuff like this alone!!! 👏🫂💞

If you make your own solution, please remember to use fresh distilled water and NOT tap water. I personally warm the water in a pot on the stove and NOT the microwave. I heat it to a comfortable temperature for myself, as cool feels really odd to me

You can buy a enema kit that you can wash disinfect and reuse so you have less waste and you can make a saline solution or yes you can do a coffee enema. It is the absolute best type of enema for detoxing your organs and getting rid of parasites. But just doing water enemas are great as they are.

I have to take an enema for one month for my Ulcerative Colitis. The one doctor told me to take is called “mesalamine 4 g enema” I have to take it every night before bed. I took this medication two years ago but stopped because I kept missing days and refills were over $400 I couldn’t afford it. This time I going to keep up with it and hope for good results. If not doctor wants to change after a month to a different treatment option.
