    My sister is having some stomach issues and her doctor told her she needed to try an enema. She is so nervous but I sent her this video and she feels 1 million times better! Such an awesome video, so easy to follow, and the time stamps in the description were such a nice touch. Wish every how-to video was exactly like this

    HOW TO HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES Hello Olivia, thanks for the video, very nicely put together. May I suggest that instead of using room temperature water, you try 102-104 Fahrenheit. The cooler room temperature water causes spasms. Also cover yourself with a throw blanket, avoid drafts to your tommy and the rest of your body too. In the beginning I used to put a hot water bottle on my belly to relax the muscles.Turn on a favorite video to distract your mind. Our bodies are accustomed to pushing things out of the colon, you must now train it to receive the enema from a different direction. Make the pad you will lay down on really attractive. No one wants to lay down on the bathroom floor, so if it’s not really attractive you won’t be able to hold for long. Make it soft and padded, cover with a favorite towel, a pillow with a nice pillow case, then put a doggy training pad to help protect from accidents. In the beginning expect some accidents. No harm done, it will just mean you will have an extra clean bathroom. Today I am on the Gerson Therapy doing 3-4 coffee enemas a day and I wish I had had someone to give me these tips way back when I first started juicing and fasting.

    • @nicolemashek1040
      @nicolemashek1040 6 лет назад +5

      Jo Simoes, good luck with Gerson Therapy! While I was not the one who had to be on that diet, I have learned a lot about it and have changed many of my habits. My best friend was accepted to the clinic in Tijuana and learned a ton. She was lucky to have a large support system to help her with this diet, as it consumed her whole day. I hope you have the same. Good luck with your journey!

    As a long time coffee cleansing enthusiast , I love your in depth video.
    I introduced my wife to coffee enemas about 10 years ago , and I remember helping prepare everything and massaging her belly during the coffee cleansing.
    In my perfect world, I would have a friend or partner or both , who was as interested and excited about sharing coffee enemas , natural remedies and cuddling as I am .
    The coffee can and has been an addictive thing for me , and may be a replacement for my lack of physical touch and affection.
    If there was a conscious community centered around physical closeness and deep emotional healing and preparing the freshest food and sharing meals together, I would love to be living in that space soon .
    Thanks for this great video 💖🌈👍😊

    Thank you for this nice and clear explanation. My mother use enemas to us as children, I never understood why? Now I thank her. My grand mother always said is better with linseed water to lubricate the bowels as well. We brothers and sisters get this for a while, all of us healthy till nowadays. Before food was energy for the body, but not anymore, food is processed with the a lot of chemicals.

    Thank you for the video. You appear very healthy and your skin looks great.
    I would suggest to people that they increase their consumption of whole plant foods (whole grains, beans,
    vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds) as they have healthy fiber in them--and greatly decrease any processed and
    fast foods you are eating, as well as reduce the amount of animal products you consume. Animal products
    of all kinds lack fiber (meat, dairy, eggs, fishes, etcetera) and lead to constipation among other issues. I have
    been a whole food ethical vegan for 20+ years. I am amazed at how many humans are constipated and the
    first thing to improve is their diet by eating more plants (and drink enough healthy water). cheers.

The video was incredibly comprehensive, and just watching this I feel already able to look at doing an enema, you detailed everything so well - thank you! Yes, I am at this time freaked out about putting a pipe up my bum, but after watching you smear coconut on the stem, I am picking up the courage to do it (eventiually). I am currently in the process of a prolonged water fast (snake juice), which I expect to last around 60 days, and in between those, I am doing the occasional dry fast for 48 hours, so, I don't think I will get the enema kit until I have finished that off. That time will allow me to save to get the best quality one I can. Thanks again for opening my eyes to the process and benefits of the enema. Mark.

    I’m very late to this party, but when you said, “Get over it,” I kind of winced because it’s like you were speaking directly to me. I am so squeamish (about everything), but had back in October and I have not felt well ever since. So many weird aches and pains I have never experienced before and doctors (bleh) can’t find anything wrong with me. All of my usual natural cures aren’t working. I had a colonic once and that was a rather bizarre experience, but now I’m wondering if this would help me. The whole thing gives me the heebies, but both you and Markus Rothkranz sing its praises, so I will try and “get over it”... (Thanks, Olivia 💖)

      Hi, eat more fiber-rich whole plants (vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds) and drink more water to go more
      often. I am vegan, and know that all animal products, and processed foods, have no or poor quality fiber and are constipating. Try to aim for 1/2 of your entire diet eaten with raw plant foods. Many humans only go 3 times a week, a good goal is to go 2x every day. good luck.

    I always find that if I do the enema in two stages it works better. I just use about half litre of water for my first enema as this just gets out the excess waste that is already in my colon. I usually need to evacuate within the first 5 minutes. Then straight after I do about two litres of water and can hold this for up to 15 minutes no problem. Propping your legs up high can also help stop the feeling of wanting to evacuate too soon.
    I have read that your colon is getting really clean when you can hold half a gallon of water for about 20 to 30 mins. I'm not up to this yet but can confirm that the more you do this the easier it gets and the more water you can take.

    • @OliviaBudgen
      @OliviaBudgen  2 года назад

      I've heard that too. But unless you've always eaten a super clean, whole food diet, never eaten junk food or cooked meat, never drank alcohol, smoked, been stressed, or lived near a city with dirty air... then your colon is likely to need some assistance :)

    Are there excercises or stretches before or after enemas that you might recommend to help also? I'm going to start using enemas daily because I feel so much better afterwards.
    I stretch my body in different ways to move my internal organs but I'm not sure if it's helping.
    I'm thinking the internal organs enjoy being moved kinda of like how when we're children we roll around on the floor and run around all the time and it may be good for people who aren't very physically active.
    Thanks

    Have you looked at using urine for your enemas? Or urine therapy at all?

    • @OliviaBudgen
      @OliviaBudgen  7 лет назад +4

      I haven't heard of using urine for enemas, but I have heard of urine therapy. Although I haven't done a lot of research in to it (apart from the fact that it freaks me out a little) I don't understand how drinking urine from an unhealthy body can help one heal. I understand maybe if the person is super healthy and clean... let me know your thoughts?

    • @jacksari414
      @jacksari414 7 лет назад +4

      Yeah it definitely freaked me out for quite a while before some youtube stumbling helped spark some real curiosity. I agree that is hard to get your head around especially if we all see it as being a form of waste/elimination (because our body is getting rid of it.. isn't it?). As of recent I personally do not believe it is waste, since researching peoples experiences and also trying it myself. To be honest it has been one of the most important tools in my healing journey and it seems to go hand in hand with a raw food diet. I have only been doing it for around 6 months but my intuition and direct experience has given me more than enough confidence of its legitimacy. It is helping me learn to love myself and my body in a way that I have been desperate for. Myself and 2-3 of my local Brisbane friends have all experienced the same things. One of those friends has just started using urine for his enemas and since it seems to be great for topical use I will also be using it when I try my first enema in the near future. I know people like Dr Morse say that urine is acidic waste but I don't have any knowledge or evidence supporting that.
      Most people I have researched that speak about urine therapy say that it contains an excess of what the body needs in its current state of health. Apparently it is loaded with stem cells and this makes sense to me as it has helped heal skin issues/injuries very quickly when used topically. It has one of the highest ratings on acne.org for acne treatment and a lot of moisturisers actually contain urea (urine) from a pig or cow.
      I dont want to keep rambling on and maybe I am completely delusional but every day I experience the benefits from it physically and mentally without a doubt.

    • @OliviaBudgen
      @OliviaBudgen  7 лет назад +3

      jacksari I'm sure you are not delusional 😌 there is no better evidence than personal experience. So if it's working for you, then that is amazing! Thank you for sharing your journey with it so far with me and definitely keep me updated 😃 I always keep my mind and soul open to new ideas.

    • @jacksari414
      @jacksari414 7 лет назад +3

      No problem :) Thank you for the reply. It is often hard to speak about these things especially when there aren't a lot of people around us willing to discuss or consider new ideas. From watching your earlier videos I can relate very much to your previous lifestyles and being around the same age I am sure you are familiar with the external influences and reactions coming from family, old friendship groups etc..
      It all seems to come back down to rediscovering your true self, unblocking energetic pathways and letting your true energy flow through your actions. I feel like this was obtained to some degree in our childhood until it became programmed out of us and replaced with anxiety creating stimulation and entertainment. Eventually we become more stressed and more addicted to the stimulation which breaks down the body, and its energetic capabilities while our minds are racing and keeping us locked into destructive patterns.
