hi thank you for the video
i have been testing my 5900x for a week
when i give 4.4ghz 1.2 volts in bios i get 22188
when i give 4.6ghz 1.33125volt i get 23158
when i gice 4.5ghz 1.21250volts in bios i get 21609
i used cinebench r23 program
and i also test with all core negative 15 21830 pt
all core negative 20 21986pt
all core negative 25 21853
all core negative 30 22202
what i found out is when i was giving manual clock with volts i got better points
i am using 4.4ghz with 1.2 volts now i get 40-42c
so far i am happy with my setting
thank you for the video
Per core undervolt will give lower temps. By choosing ALL CORES, Ryzen Master will find the greatest offset that can be applied to all cores while maintaining stability. However, all but the two fastest cores can generally be given a greater negative offset which is only done when PER CORE is selected.
I never get it to work for my 5950x. It keep crashing when testing r23. Maybe undervolt is not suitable if I have RTX4090 that demands the higher speed of the processor ?
I have done that and i got temps around 75c while stress testing on cinabench but while gaming (diablo iv) i get to 95/96
I tried mine and got
BEFORE
temp 86.7
Mhz 4263
volt 1.29
cinebench 21137
AFTER
temp 85.7
Mhz 4380
volt 1.27
cinebench 21790
(averages of 3 readings)
Though only 3% gain in the cinebench scores, happy with it as the temp & volts are lower, and yet with higher MHz!
Anyone else gets bsod on per core setting at the last stretch 96+ % and/or at 20/27%?
Do you know if the local networks are based on the user's zip code or are they the same for all users?
You got a poor bin my Ryzen 9 5900x -10 all cores stable scores in CB r23 10-minute throttle test 23,527mc never goes over 65c maybe it’s cause I have an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 rev 4 with the offset brackets and MX-6 thermal paste.
Thank you. . At 2:05, if I understood you correctly, you said that the utility could fry out your CPU? Maybe it's best to just avoid downloading the utility?
I said the misuse of the utility can damage the CPU.
@@KnowledgeSharingTech Thank you.
DANKE für das tolle aufschlussreiche Video , du hast mir sehr geholfen !!
is this compatible on ryzen 7 6800h
Knowledge Sharing Techdid did you get a ryzen with a sticker NOT FOR SALE.... that is a not brand new CPU?
My has been turned off 3 times in the process.
I got 2 crashes after the RMaster optimisation while running the PC at normal load. Does anyone happen to have a similar experience? Google search says this is quite common with RM! How to resolve this?
Me too
Tested on Ryzen 5 7600x. I do not recommend that,. After i did that, my cpu whenever i boot up my pc went to 90+. I couldnt event open Ryzen Master, its froze. So only option is uninstall ryzen master and reset bios...
I had the same issue at boot sequence that you describe (bios failure). I fought a lot and a cold sweat took my body (Does anybody felt the same sensation anytime!?) So I decided to try this:
I inserted an USB drive with the last bios update (already I had it, but modified) and I installed as it was a normal update (via M-button on MSI MB). It worked. Bios alive again (the removal of the bios battery had the same function, but I choice that way in order to not remove the Graphic card).
I changed the PBO (all cores, negative, 25) on bios with my 5600x. Previously I did try with negative starting from 15 (finally as I said at 25) and temps barely over 70 playing games. Before this change easily my cpu reach 95º Celsius playing and about 70º on idle.
Which is the right way to get this ? Both Ryzen Master and MSI Bios PBO feature can adjust the settings that lowers the voltage dinamically when PBO > all cores > negative > offset [0 to 30] is set.
I watched this video to find out if it is possible to be more accurate instead using Ryzen Master (both work identically).
In my case the only way that worked properly was the bios feature.
Is there any option to Test and Apply for the curve optimisation All Cores mode. Thanks for providing appropriate information.
yes you go in the advanced view and click validate to stress test the offset you chose ...and personally i dont apply through the software i go in the bios to apply it myself when i get the highest stable offset number and i put the highest number of positive offset of the precision boost in the bios before doing anything to achieve highest clock speed with lowest voltage...but then if the temp are too high just lower you precision boost a little bit to lower you voltage even more until you find nice temp but optimize your fan curve too squeeze out the most out of your setup without being too loud either ;)
is this only applicable for clockable motherboard?
It's an undervolt, so I don't think.
Doing a Per Core optimization will most likely get better performance and stability. Using All Core will either cap you by the slowest core, or make you unstable because the slowest core is going beyond its limits.
😀 😃
