There was a time when the claws wer telescopic and came from the gloves, then before the claws were part of his mutation they were added by weapon x so the tube things were on his hands so the claws had somewhere to come out from, then the claws were part of his mutation and come from between his fingers.
Well it was great while it lasted, almost 10 years of the perfect buck for Logan. This one is amazing, but taller than all the previous ones. He will be hunched over permanently. Great vid!

I like the general aesthetic and it's a suit that's definitely been a long time coming for a modern legends. I'm a bit disappointed with some of the proportions though, scaling seems a bit too large and the arms are more in scale with a standard size person not so much a 5'3" guy. I feel like that's something more common with the pinless stuff ? Maybe the length of parts factor into their ability to mould the pieces together. Definitely one I need to see in hand. But I'm glad folks are getting closer to completing their astonishing x-men team up!

Yep, arms are massive and look to spheric on shoulders, compar to new Hasbro body line..
Yeah it's weird because the 97 wolverine had pretty well proportioned arms ( besides the shoulders) I think they just messed up the initial sculpt. But it will be harder to notice the long arms when you have him all action posed up.

I think that 3.75-in version from Marvel University is the definitive version of this costume. The boots are even done right on the smaller figure.

Nice review. I am a big fan of the claws.
The diaphragm is the best way to go with the torso. Legends have been so dated with the torso for so long. Its about time
Cassidy’s art made all the X-Men look older with slightly receding hairlines for Scott, Logan and, Piotr.
Makes sense considering how long they've been X-Men at that point.

Definitely switch the belts. I’m gonna customize the heck out of it. It’s not comic accurate on the gloves or boots.
I switched the belts. It definitely looks better. But the blues are off. Needs to be painted. Or the figure does. I’m sanding off the yellow square on the glove and boots so I’m probably gonna repaint all the blues.
You did it already? Did you cut the belt ? Can you send me a picture of it. I see alot of people pairing this guy up with the The New Avengers but that isn't fully accurate either

Think they made this figure too big plus the fact he's got a dumbbell neck and no boot rotation are a definite draw back for the figue.
Correct me if I’m wrong but is this the first ML Wolverine where they finally added hair on his arms?
They added it on the 5 pack Wolverine and the Xforce Wolverine but I'm not sure if both were painted

I kind of don't like this wolverine. He looks disproportionate. The cowl is too short compared to the comic.
What are you talking about, Asthoning Xmen Wolverines cowl is shorter.

He's about the same height as all the other ones. It's the torso that makes him slightly too wide.
Astonishing Wolverine looks too tall for me.
Look at the comparisons, the height is fine..
I think 275 is the right height and Astonishing is too tall.
