See how to change the oil on a 2015 Polaris RZR 900S in this video from Partzilla.com. Fortunately, Polaris sells a kit with the oil and the filter, so it’s one-stop shopping for everything you need. The filter is located behind and access panel located behind the seats, so we’ll start by getting the seats out of the machine. Then, we’ll drain the oil and replace the drain bolt. Next, we’ll replace the filter and refill the machine with fresh oil.

I don’t feel the 10-50 extreme is that extreme at all. My personal feelings are that oil would be best for all seasons, in the winter it would be just a good warm up period, especially if the motor is higher hours and miles. Multi viscosity oils at a 5 rating is too thin, in my opinion, hence 10-50 is appropriate especially if the factory recommends its use under harsher conditions such as low speed trail riding. The use of factory oil is the only oil I use in any machinery I own I’ve found that it’s always the better option despite all the other brands and advice from others.
