intermediate shaft is steering shaft, what you were doing at 6:30 was called the center shaft coming from the front diff the the center hub and back to transmission
secondly you install your oil filters way to tight, if you need channel locks to remove them, they are way to tight. all they need is hand snug and 1/8th turn past. heat will tighten further, making removal a one handed operation.
The potential issue with running a 20W/50 oil is excessive oil pressure. Polaris has always had oversized oil systems, why is anyone's guess. I have seen a few times people put 15W/40 or 20W/50 in Polaris rigs and either blow oil cooler lines (if equipped) or the oil filter is puffed signifying excessive pressure. Got a rzr in the shop right now with hydraulic lifer damage because of excessive oil pressure, in excess of 150 psi. At the end of the day, run what you like, just be aware of the potentials.
