Hi Michael and welcome to northern California! I'm from the Napa Valley but have been living in northern Italy since 2012. I think that the additional humidity in SF will also benefit your beautiful plants. They do look so much better and are taking off with the artificial light source. Good job!
Very interesting Andrew and what a bonus with your new water supplies. I hope every thing continues to do well for you so keep an out for the moss becoming too acidic. Ed.
Hey Michael, Welcome home.....well at least for your happy orchids..... It is fun to see the difference good water can make. Hope your getting a chance to enjoy the sites..... thank you for all of your time
Welcome to the Pacific Northwest! Well. OK, San Fran is not really the"Pacific Northwest", but almost. And you have the same decent water as we do. Looking forward to more videos of happy plants - especially when they are in bloom!
I just got my first ever Pyschopsis Mendenhall...it's the smallest little seedling. Probably about 3 years until it gets blooming size. looking forward to seeing how tall your spike gets and seeing it flower! The leaves on yours look amazing!!!
Funny, my zygo is producing two flower spikes and a new growth all at once from the same spot! I first thought it was just a new growth, but then two spikes emerged and I freaked out 😂 Yes, this twinkle flower spikes take ages to bloom, but they are just charming and well worth the wait! 👍 Love that we’re getting more vids from you lately, I’ve missed them!
Hi Michael, happy to hear and see all your orchids made it through the move. I have to ask you I couldn’t help notice if you still have or what had happened to your big Phil philodendron plant from the beginning of your utube journey? I did not see him when you first moved. However I saw a big bird of paradise and now, do you still have him with you in your new apartment? Just wondering. Luv your channel, thank you.
Michael, your collection looks great! Congratulations on the new move too; Always exciting to see what new changes will ensue. I was curious - It looks like you are using glass jars/vases for the semi-hydros with holes. Are these indeed glass? If so, you make it look easy to drill holes in the glass. Details?
I have been researching Orchids lately and came across your chan. I love gardening as well.. Glad to be your new friend. I hope you stop by and become my friend as well. Thanks for sharing. Enjoying the video now.
Congrats on your move & so nice to hear about the improvements on your orchids. My question is, would adding spaghnum moss on top of leca suitable for Phalonopsis (sp) orchids too??
Lol I love when he gets all excited about his plants 😂😂😂. Also this is off topic, but does he wear eyeliner or is he just naturally blessed with beautifully defined eyes and brows?

Great update,thanks for sharing.Happy growing!
Told ya sphagnum moss is the ultimate medium. 😉 i grow my entire collection exclusively in sphagnum moss and a thin bottom layer of leca.
You have to attend the Orchid Expo in SF

Марина, привет! Спасибо! Буду смотреть!
@@catherinelittle5501 she just said how good looking the roots are. What's the problem with it? Maybe the person just doesn't know any English.

@12:54 what's that one with the crazy roots?
Didn't you have a mealy bug infestation before Christmas - did you get it fixed before the move?

Not a fan of 'please subscribe and tell me how wonderful I am', yet can't find the time to respond to posts.

Maybe - every gurrrl has her little magic to help nature to flourish 😜🤫
