Amazing journey of how your photos can travel around the world and be touched by many hands before and after you click the shutter. Made by Kodak Rochester in New York; distributed by Kodak Alaris in England; purchased in a small shop in Japan; loaded into a Leica with lens Made in Canada (should have mentioned that a few more times); sometimes hand checked at the airport; and finally processed when you get back home. Watching your video really brought me back to how I rediscovered film during my travels in Vietnam. Thanks for creating and sharing this - beautiful story and photos. Looking forward to what comes next.
Having been fortunate enough to go to Tokyo for 3 weeks in 2021, I love seeing a longer video about a city I fell in love with. Hopefully I can get back there again. Thanks for sharing. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this video and it shows.
Most of the time and effort went into the title. Thanks for watching! Also awesome you were able to go in 2021. It’s a bit busier with us tourists now haha
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto I was there on a work related trip covering the Olympics. Our first 2 week were spent in semi-quarantine (a word I hope I never hear again). Our time outside was limited. I was able to see a lot of things our last week there and it was a fantastic place as you know.
Inspiring, you want to book your flight and grab your analog gear immediately. One question, was it special film types that did not survive the CT, or was it random?
Thank you for getting my very anticlimactic pool shot in there. The photos turned out great (even with a little radiation). Still waiting for my roll of Ektachrome 😬
There’s a few of the monthly ones that open up each month if someone converts to annual or leaves. I usually send an email out to my email list whenever there’s more than 3 spots available

Thanks for showing me home. I recognize some of the areas for sure. Next time we shoot together :-)
This would be lovely. I’ll show you all of my favourite ice creams, too.
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto every Okinawan knows that Blue Seal is the best brand, and Okinawan salt cookie is the best flavour :-)
That Jason Vong cameo was really cool, hope you guys do a video collab soon

@@AllenRReid Nice that you got time that last week. I had a few friends there for the Olympics and their trip was too short to outlast the protocol
Nice meeting you man! Though you were wearing shoes in the hotel room, you may not be let back in.
Nice meeting you as well. I think sleeping with shoes is fine
Seems like it’s one of the top destinations for street photography. Maybe one day I’ll see it for myself
It’s a really great place in the world
This is amazing.
Enjoyed this very much!!
Thanks Paul!

The e100 seemed okay to be honest. It was affected for sure though. Made it kind of look like I pushed it a stop or two

Just forgot haha
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto Oh no! i'm glad you were able to get some usable images anyway. Really nice
@TJCampie yah. Honestly the 800T came out better than it normally would haha
in my experience, japan has been absolutely amazing when it comes to hand checking film; regardless of ISO; even if the checkpoint is busy.
@@lottic yeah that's what I've heard too so I was surprised
