The max cuteness a baby can be is the stage where they're able to interact and finally can see and play with stuff. They're not getting into trouble and their eyes seem to literally shine in excitement with everything around them........ this is why babies get me whipped to the point I feel like I could explode from cuteness overload. My heart be aching because I can't glue the the current scene of them to my eyeballs to enjoy forever 😂😂😂 My nieces own me and my poor wallet because I'm constantly buying stuff for them so I can see that excited wonder in their eyes with their huge smiles!!!! Babies are so pure not hiding their emotions and when it comes to seeing their joy you know it's fully unfiltered happiness!!!!
For the vent cleaning, I just unscrew the vent covers since theres only 2 screws. I take all of them off at once, take them to the sink or bathtub where I have a soft brush and mild soapy water and wash them. It's super quick, super easy and way faster than cleaning one little slat at a time. (:
Seeing you clean like I used to do (I’m 73) makes me want to clean something. Haha I don’t keep house like I should and it’s just me. I think keeping it nice for family is motivateion, I don’t have that anymore. Lovely video

Me too nanashouse.I took care of my husband with dementia for 9 years, and the last few years I didn’t do much deep cleaning.Still grieving and have no energy, but I am inspired by Jamie and am going to try some of her tips, maybe all of them.I am 71 years of age.
I'm the same. My house used to be so clean even with my 4 kids and their friends. Now it's just old me and it's awful. I just wanna get rid of almost everything and save money for one good deep clean.
I take my vents off and put them in my dishwasher. They come out perfectly clean and I don’t have to scrub or sit on the floor with a knife. I’m too old to get back up again LOL
Shout out to this lady for the time she puts in to cleaning her home. I'm exhausted just watching the grout cleaning. I honestly only deep clean once a month but tidy daily. Thanks for the baking soda tip though. 😉 Any hard wood floor tips?
I use plastic lining on my fridge shelves. You can get the rolls or use the clear cutting sheets from the dollar store. I also need to get a lazy Susan and put it in my fridge for small jars, so they I just spin it around to find the one I need.
From beginning to end I cannot get over how real this cleaning video was. Everything being cleaned was truly dirty. The exchange vent has dust. The fridge had dirty shelves. The dog prints on the floor! Thank you for this amazing video!
I watched a lot of your videos and thought u used the pink stuff and your stovetop was beautiful so I purchased some. Should I not use it on the stovetop ?
GROUT: Renewing a few things around the house. I’m so done with the struggle keeping grout clean, so re-grouted with Epoxy-grout! Game changer! No more worries with this grout business.
This is the first time I’ve ever watched one of your videos and I’m so glad I did! I desperately need help getting my house properly organized, actually deep cleaned and a cleaning/maintenance schedule to keep it that way. With three amazing children, a long hours shift working husband and myself suffering with long term illness any tip trick or hack is greatly appreciated. Especially if it’s with non chemical products! I am so grateful to have found you and wholeheartedly thank you Jaime! ❤️ from Shannon
Don’t allow yourself to get overwhelmed first off. Make a chart Sunday thru Friday or something along those lines leaving at least 1 day free of no cleaning duties. Assign a couple cleaning duties to each day that way you can keep up with everything without feeling overwhelmed & you might consider doing laundry two times a wk so it doesn’t pile up and feel like your having to do so many loads at once. Definitely recommend having atleast one day a month that you do a deep clean/de-clutter or maybe even every other month. I use to be obsessed with cleaning spending 8hrs or more each day cleaning heck even spent a thousand + dollars on a ATP luminometer which basically u swab the surface of something put it in the meter and it will measure the hygiene/sanitary level of that item. If results were anything more than 2 I would clean again up to 10 is passing. But after years of professional help I’ve managed to cut back drastically. As far as cleaning products go I really love ZEP products but for the most part I try to use more natural ingredients. I love love love using a mixture of warm to hot distilled white vinegar & dawn dish soap for the bathroom will use bar keepers if needed. For the toilet & everything else I mix 3 tablespoons clorax bleach & 3TBSP fabuloso, 2TBSP dawn dish soap, 2-3 cups water I eye ball everything so exact measurements are hard to give. Also if you have a flat top stove with hard to get off burnt water marks you can spray easy off oven cleaner let it sit for an hour at minimum some like to leave over night I never do can also use the vinegar & dawn mixture and sprinkle baking soda on top let it sit come back using magic eraser. For mattresses even if you use a mattress cover it’s good to clean the mattress itself once a month or every other month spray mattress with a mixture of hot water & warm distilled white vinegar any area that need extra attention use a brush or towel with a tad bit of dawn and scrub the area then spray down area with the mixture again then use a generous amount of baking soda to cover mattress (no clumps) let sit until it completely dries which usually takes about 2hrs for my king size. Vacuum real good may have to go over it twice. Steam mops are the best unless you have hardwood floors.

Love watching your videos! During my second pregnancy while searching RUclips I watched your videos for the first time. With the motivation you gave me to clean, I found that I enjoyed cleaning, because I just could never sleep and cleaning made me exhausted enough to get some sleep. Now with two kids two and under and working full time, I’m usually too tired to get any deep cleaning done. Just started watching your videos again at night and I have motivation to get things done now. Thank you 🥰
Hi Hailey! Never had children myself, so I can only imagine how exhausted you be. Thankfully it's not forever. It's just a season of your life. Take dear Momma!
To restore glass inserts on ovens, use an inexpensive plain, unscented shaving cream (Dollar General). Shake and spray a layer on door. NOTE!! IF you have a chemical free self cleaning oven, use a low tack tape to mask off the edges so it doesn't end up on metal surfaces and potentially void any warranties!! Spread a nice layer of shaving cream over glass. Wait 1 hour. Wipe surface clean. Extra heavy baked on residue may require 2-3 treatments. I have severe Odteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis and I had to put in minimal effort to remove the residue. My oven doors sparkle like brand new!!!
I've said it a million times, REUSE YOUR DRYER SHEETS! They're excellent for getting dust and hair. Especially on vents. That's how I clean my blinds, vents, and baseboards.
I never use carpet freshers... ever... when I worked for a cleaning company they said they are bad for vacuums. Lol so.. I just make sure to deep clean them well
I have had my carpets cleaned by a professional (not one of the cheaper companies that don't pay their employees a decent wage OR train them)! He said the only carpet cleaner to use is SPOT SHOT as it's more like a dry cleaning solution than the others, like resolve that contain soap. They leave a soapy film on your carpet that attracts dirt because it's sticky. SPOT SHOT is amazing and they even have pet formulations. It was endorsed by "Better Homes & Garden" when that meant something! I buy it at Walmart - one of the very few items I'll go in there for!
It true... It will break your vacuum cleaner... I never use carpet freshener.. But thanks for the tip on Shot shop.. Going go to Walmart too get a few bottles!
Great for dogs with outdoor allergen issues that affect their paws and skin too! Probably lessens them from bringing in allergens for their humans as well. Great tip.
My favorite was really the cat watching your dog getting her paws washed like the cat would never be so undignified to have that done to it. Thank you for the little cleaning hacks I have grout for the first time in a farmhouse, with boys. I swear it doesn't stay clean for longer than 15 minutes, will definitely be trying the grout cleaning hack.
I can't thank you enough for this video! It was so motivating that I cleaned my fridge today because of you!! So much easier putting the shelves in the bathtub. Even put towels on the floor for them to dry like you showed. I never thought of doing it that way!! I felt so productive! My fridge looks great. Bless you and your beautiful family! You are an inspiration.😘
I cannot wait to try it tomorrow! I will wipe out the fridge while they soak and its a nice jump on my bathtub as well a little comet when I drain it and wholla! Double win!
I wash Otis’s feet when he comes in with doggy wipes that I get from Amazon, they’re very cost-effective and I don’t do it just in the winter time or when it’s raining I do it every single time he comes in, saves a lot on the floors on the bed because he sleeps with me, germs and anything else that he brings in.

Why do contractors leave a two inch space between the TOILET & the WALL? Have they ever had to stick their heads, mops or brooms to clean this area? GEEEZZZZZ!
Ah Paulette, the answer to your question would be a NO. I have never figured out yet in 75 years why heating and AC vents are always under windows, dah!
Hi Paulette H, I agree with you. I think before they get their license, degree, or whatever it is they get to be legally designing houses; they should have to work for a house cleaning company for a month or more. Once they've cleaned in a hundred different homes at least a few dozen times each; they might begin to understand the design flaws for everyday usage of the space. Might even lead to designing better fixtures around the house too. I can't believe after all of that cleaning any man would leave such a little space between the tub, toilet, and sink after that. At least leave enough room to get the head of a sponge mop all the way around the toilet. Would be nice if they designed ranges and refrigerators on wheels to easily move them to clean under and behind. And plastic solid surfaces to use under sinks incase they leak. Floor drains anywhere there's plumbing incase of pipe leaks, pipe failure, or overflowing toilets. And easy outdoor emergency shut off valves for the water. I could go on for hours on all of the design flaws in the average house. But it might be easier to raise our daughters to take over architecture, and contracting jobs, with the purpose in mind of making it easier to clean and take care of, instead of maintaining the status quo that centuries of men have left us. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. ☺️ ✌️ 🖖 😷
BR549, OU812, Boomer Hi Boomer! I had a fridge on wheels and I LOVED it! I think most have 2 wheels and 2 adjustable, leveling feet but it’s not a lot of help, really. 4 wide wheels was the way to go!
A self-adhesive caulking tape might be something to consider for the area between your stove and countertop. They have many different colors and a nice sleek and professional look. It would keep food and spills from getting down in-between there. To clean it you just wipe it down when you're wiping the counter and stove. Hope you find this tip useful. Thanks for sharing your cleaning tips!
Thank you Jaime. I've learned to take what I like and leave the rest. There is something for everyone in your videos. Thanks for the inspiration. Your home is beautiful and you do a wonderful job. Keep up the great content.
From a puppy while drying off our Great Danes we would tell them, “aww you’re such a good boy, aww such a sweet boy” now when I get a towel he comes over to me, “dry me off mom and tell me I’m good.” Its amazing. 🤗
I put my glass refrigerator shelves in the dishwasher-then I run another load with drawers. Yes, I remove the top 1-2 holders in my dishwasher...yay new 3 tier dishwasher!
FINALLY! SOMEBODY WITH SOME INGENUITY! Jamie, if I see another lemon in a microwave or baggie of vinegar over a showerhead I think I'm gonna lose it! YOU ARE A TRUE ORIGINAL...I'M SUBSCRIBING, STRAIGHT UP. THANK YOU!
This was the 1st time, I watched your video, I'm GLAD I did. Like they say, you learn something new everyday...that's the honest truth...Thanks for the information....
Use your vacuum attachments on vents first and they won't be as dirty when you wipe them down. Love the idea of putting Refrigerator shelves in the tub. Awesome idea!
Toilet bowl cleaner works great but you have to consider your pets and small kids who walk on the floors. Cats and dogs lick their paws and can get sick from the chemicals in toilet cleaner (which often has a skull head warning on it). Children have thin porous skin and chemicals can leach into their blood. I'm a health care worker and see alot of things related to chemicals in the hospital. Also my dog has bladder cancer and many yard products have poisons and toxins in them. It's a good idea to clean the dogs paws. Especially when your dog walks everywhere on your daily jaunt.
I cleaned my vents yesterday by unscrewing them and wash, for stove I moved it for me it's a lots faster and easier, definitely will buy the carpet cleaner! Thank you for the motivation ♥️
I also cringe to think how much gunk just gets pushed down deeper into the space btwn stove &counter. So much easier to prevent it in the first place by using those covers made to sit over the gap.
Unscrewing could cause stripping of the hardware or as my problem the screws have been painted over through the years an older house I'd never get them off. I brush mine then vacuum to finish it off,
Cleaning between the stove and the counter- I just made a rule after I renovated to pull the range out once a month and clean all around it, and mop underneath it. No drips down the sides (because the debris you see stuck up top isn’t limited to just that- it drips down to the floor). Same with the refrigerator. It’s not as hard as it sounds- get help if it’s too heavy of course, but you’ll feel better knowing you’re cooking in a truly clean space.
I too pull my range out every few months but for the in between its very helpful and I sure notice a difference when I do pull I iut. But lets face it elderly or those with small kids have to be careful. Or are not strong enough or lack time or don't have that handy help, its a nice alternative and easy quickie! Happy Cleaning
Oh sooo motivating!!!! I'm blaming my dirty house on the pollen but watching these to motivate me to start it up tomorrow! Your kitchen is to die for SO SHINY! Bravo! Thank you I really needed this motivation!
I didn’t find the carpet cleaner worked at all on grout but for me oxyclean {additive for laundry} mixed up in a squeeze bottle (from dollar store) and squeezed onto the grout lines does. Just leave it there as long as you have time for and wipe off…it well brighten them like nothing I’ve ever used before ! ….and then seal your grout! One $20 bottle of sealer from the hardware store and a little paintbrush from kids craft box, you’ll never be on your knees with a toothbrush again! Thank you for taking the time to make this ….we appreciate you!
I've read that, with the alcohol/water/dish soap disinfectant mixture, it's best to wait 3-5 minutes after spraying it onto your surfaces before wiping it off, giving it a chance to do its thing and actually disinfect.
Yes! I used one for the first time after my mom died and I was going to throw a brand new one out. Then I decided to use it for cleaning. Amazing! I love the way one end is sort of chiseled into a sort of point in the middle - gets into every space! Now I buy them routinely!
@@Lucinda_Jackson Hi, Me too. After my mother-in-law died, I'm looking at this odd brush thinking of dozens of places I could clean with that. Especially on laundry stains. Then my husband took the denture brush next time he washed the car, and it never came back to the cleaning supplies bucket. Found more at the Dollar Tree, and Walmart. Also found a pack of cleaning brushes at the Dollar Tree, with nylon bristles, wire bristles, etcetera (I forget the other ones). They're about the size of toothbrushes, and very handy. I have also learned to check the car washing buckets for any of my missing cleaning supplies; not that I'm cleaning my kitchen with them again, but that's where they disappeared to, just buy more. Take care. ☺️ ✌️ 🖖 😷
Also, check the thrift store for denture brushes. I found some new ones unopened for a fraction of the cost. Also, dog toothbrushes are cool for out of reach places. The bristles are not very stiff but are good for long sknny vases and glassware. Otherwise, this was a good video overall, and the added shortcuts from viewers were really helpful.
Great ideas. I also know from personal experience in that the baking soda is a bad idea because when your carpet gets a little older it will hold on to the stains in the padding. The powder cakes up in the padding and you will regret it ..you can clean your carpet but give it a couple of weeks And the stains bleed back through
I am a professional house cleaner and I have bern watching your videos for quite a long time. They are so relaxing AND MOTIVATING for me! I am going to try the resolve on a clients grout in January.
Thank you for showing your tips> This is my first time watching you and I have learned a great deal. I'm 81 years old and need help so thank you. I want my home to be clean and as you get my age it helps to watch shows like yours for me to get started. God Bless you!
I love all your tips. I also do a quick pick up and a five minute clean every day. I don’t know if this is a great cleaning tip, but I always clean out my vacuum once a week and wash the filters. That way it is always ready and doesn’t have any nasty smells. I think it also keeps it in tip top shape; after all they can be pricey ( I have a Shark upright and a stick vac)
You had me at “ Cleaning Weapon” . Yeah! Cleaning Warrior! Unfortunately, I’m so lazy, I would have unscrewed the vent and washed it in the laundry sink and then replaced it. Worked a charm in the window nooks and crannies. Also around the loo seat base. When we were building our house I had the tiles put in with a grey/beige grouting. Saved SO much work! They are almost the same as yours, steam cleaned X 2 a week. Never having white grout again.
I bought a silicone cover for the space between the counter and oven so nothing falls between! Found it on Amazon super easy to wipe down or even remove clean and place back.
I cover my fridge shelves with Dollar Store place mats, When the fridge needs to be cleaned, I take them out, clean them, give the shelves a quick wipe and I'm done. I haven't found a quick easy way for the rest of the fridge.
I forgot to mention that I use the dollar store mats that come 2 in a package they sell it as Chopin boards, I like them because those are with NO prints.
Yes, I AGREE WITH YOU! GROUT SEALER is an EXCELLENT DEFENSE which can help keep dirt and grime from becoming embedded in the grout, the SEALER also serves to protect the grout from deteriorating over the years, especially when keeping a regular schedule of "re-sealing" the grout as ongoing maintenance. Additionally, if you DON'T SEAL your grout, it will absorb water, bacteria, and stains. Adding a "grout sealer" protects your grout so it's water-resistant and will repel moisture and germs. Sealing the grout helps prolong the look, texture, and consistency of your grout and it prevents mildew and mold from growing! However, from a SANITARY viewpoint, if you desire to CLEAN/SANITIZE your grout that is good because you're actually cleaning the SURROUNDING AREAS (near the grout), as well. Especially where food preparation is taking place "AND" in bathrooms...especially shower stalls, floors, and the like! EXAMPLE: At my kid's school they have "grouted tiles" on the floor throughout the shower & locker room. The floors weren't being "properly" SANITIZED in SOME areas (due to down-sizing the custodial staff, etc.). Unfortunately, a handful of kids got an athlete's foot (fungus) from the tiles in the shower stall floors. Although, the grout in the showers and surrounding areas had SEALED GROUT done annually by "hired" district maintenance crews...the "sealed grout" didn't ENCOURAGE the spread of the fungus...however, the nearby tiles by the grout did!!! :-( Therefore, In my (personal) opinion, I think it is a good idea to do BOTH (SEAL & SANITIZE/CLEAN)! This is NOT defeating the purpose of SEALING THE GROUT...it's just making sure that ALL the "surrounding" areas, including the TILES (by the grout) are properly sanitized AND the very TOP surface of the GROUT is clean also. Those frisky tiny MICROORGANISMS pop up everywhere! Need a powerful microscope to SEE them all over the surfaces of stuff! :-O Personally, I like to RE-SEAL the grout "AND" STEAM my tiles, accordingly. ;-D
@@inmyopinionwisdom4986 scrub every inch of my grout till clean, then left it dry spent $90.00 on professional grout sealer. Guess what it was a waste of money.& Yes we did it correctly
I agree, we have wide and deep grout lines and over half my house is tiled in an off white tile textured. I have Stanley steamer come in every few years and we reseal the grout and color it off white. It's a grueling joo but worth it. I never need to scrub my grout.
I love watching cleaning videos. I find a lot of inspiration and new information to use in my own home. When I clean my fridge out I also soak my glass shelves in my clean bathtub, the only two extra things I do to clean my glass and fridge wear is I put soap and vinegar in the bathtub. I find that by using soap and vinegar makes everything shiny and clean
For those who don't know, hanging organizers on doors can eventually pull your door out of alignment. I support using them, but be careful to only put light items in them (ie: gloves and hats instead of shoes - or - spices and chips instead of peanut butter and cleaning products)
If you are kneeling on hard tile to scrub grout, it would be great to get yourself a good pair of kneepads to protect your knees - they carry them at the hardware store for workers who do flooring, etc. and have to kneel all the time. I used to have good knees and I wish I had taken better care of them early on.
Hahaha! My sister and I have been doing the knife trick with paper towels, didn't have disinfecting wipes, since the 70's. We used water and vinegar. Momma's cleaning products were vinegar, ammonia, bleach, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, alcohol and lemons. We had tons of spray bottles labeled and that is what we still use today.
House cleaner here...rain x also makes a shower glass and mirror spray...IT DOESNT FOG! Its amazing. One house I clean i havent needed to wipe the mirror down in weeks!
Hi Jaime, your intro is just fine. It shows who you are off and how much you care and want to help people not be so overwhelmed with cleaning, like me!! Thanks so much. Arlene (Miami)
Please let people with animals, that any Febreeze, essential oils, powders, etc ARE NOT GOOD for their little respiratory systems. Please read up on safety and house scents for you pets!!! Very, very important!!
Most oils are fine diffusing as long as it's in a open room and not in a bedroom with the door shut👍 As far as powders..idk I don't have anything like that.
I have a cay and I mostly just vacuum around the home. I put carpet freshner or baking soda in my bedroom bc he doesn't come into my bedroom. He's free to roam exerywhere else though. I only use some watered down lavender hydrosols for my furniture once i know he is sound asleep and also on any carpets outside of my bedroom.
Yes and people are effected by synthetic chemicals and scents as well! My husband and I are cancer survivors so I try to use as much natural cleaners, and they do work! I love my little steam mop and with cleaning attachments.
Quick PSA: I used to sprinkle straight baking soda on my carpets regularly. My vacuum died and I called Dyson about the warranty. When I took it to get repaired, they said the baking soda clogs the HEPA filter and makes the motor run harder so it wears out. Ultimately it voided my warranty 😭. If you do this, just make sure you're cleaning your vacuum on the reg!
My OCD would not allow me to soak anything from the refrigerator in the tub. I just could not do it. Then use personal towels to dry them. 🥴 I *have* to wash my towels twice.
I know it’s been mentioned already, but carpet powder seriously ruins vacuums after a while, plus you never really get it all out of the carpet. When we bought new carpet last year, they mentioned not using carpet powders, they said it was abrasive to the carpet fibers, made them fuzzy and wears the carpet out quicker. If your carpets smell not so fresh because of the doggy, carpet cleaners are pretty cheap now, get a small one they are easy to maneuver and can actually clean the smell out of carpet.
@@voltatech7772 how do you use it ,in a carpet cleaning machine in lieu of a commercial shampoo or do you spray it on and just leave it be to deordorize?
@@KatarinaS. My machine has about a two gallon reservoir (Bissell Big Green...the BEST!) I buy CLEAR AMMONIA......Not the other kind. I repeat the CLEAR AMMONIA. I use about half a jug in two gallons. If there is a stain I put some of the ammonia directly on it. There is a nice clean smell and it is SUPER at lifting the dirt and SO CHEAP ($1.00) compared to actual rug cleaners. I bought my own rug cleaner with furniture attachment after renting one from Lowe’s because it works so well. Have had it ten years. Be blessed!
I use a dryer vent brush for beside the stove. Gives me a good 3-4 feet that I can go down. Also slides along the floor in that area to get out fallen crumbs. The vents can be easier cleaned with the brush attachment on your vacuum. Loved all the tips and trick! Going to try them out tonight!
A tip for cleaning the heater vent is to unscrew it from the wall and wash it in the sink or tub with a scrub brush. It's much faster. 🙂

Agreed. That's what I do. I don't have the time to sit and clean those vents individually.
Just vacuum with a brush attachment

Agreed
Plus if there is dust on the vents there's dust in it.
i wish i could do this but australian vents are on the actual wall up at the very top of the room :((
Agreed! I watched her doing that confused. I vaccum mine about every other week & take them off to wash once a year.

You left your reply a long time ago so I hope you eventually see this. This woman is wasting a crazy amount of time
I think she had a video on how she cleans her floors! :)

If you will vacuum the vents first, it will be easier to clean with the wet cloth. That works for just about anything that can be vacuumed.
I have a vacuum with a smal bristle peice . Works wonders
I just use a used dryer sheet. Works amazingly.
I was thinking the same thing
I use plastic lining on my fridge shelves. You can get the rolls or use the clear cutting sheets from the dollar store. I also need to get a lazy Susan and put it in my fridge for small jars, so they I just spin it around to find the one I need.
I use those plastic sheets too! Easier
I use the sheets as well. I have a lazy Susan in my fridge and in my cupboard for my spices
I put plastic placemats in my fridge.O found a clear Matt at Meijer.
From beginning to end I cannot get over how real this cleaning video was. Everything being cleaned was truly dirty. The exchange vent has dust. The fridge had dirty shelves. The dog prints on the floor! Thank you for this amazing video!
That was the cleanest stovetop I have ever seen. So pretty and shiny. Great job!

GROUT: Renewing a few things around the house.
I’m so done with the struggle keeping grout clean, so re-grouted with Epoxy-grout! Game changer! No more worries with this grout business.
I hope your going to go over that tip! Need details. Thank you
This is the first time I’ve ever watched one of your videos and I’m so glad I did!

For cleaning your bathtub glass doors, a little coconut oil on a cloth rubbed onto the glass will also keep soap scum from accumulating too.
Thanks
Thank you. I hate when my oven window looks bad.
That’s wonderful advice! Anywhere I have lived my ovens were atrocious. I would only clean it when I was moving and it was very daunting. Thank you!!!

Yes you’re right and the perfume in carpet fresheners is not safe for cats or anyone with asthma.
It true... It will break your vacuum cleaner... I never use carpet freshener.. But thanks for the tip on Shot shop.. Going go to Walmart too get a few bottles!
I just found your channel yesterday and am so glad I did! I’m a young new homeowner and need teaching in how to keep a clean home. Love it! Thank you.
I’ve had a cleaning business for 10 years. I have a brush attachment on my vacuum that takes 2.5 seconds to clean vents. Time is money lol
What vacuum do you use?
I’m saying! I don’t have time to spend all day cleaning vents in people’s houses. Work smarter not harder!
Unscrew the vent from the wall and wash in bathtub with a brush goes much faster
Me personally I take the vents off and wash them.
My vents have an oily feel . It dosent vacuum well. They have to be washed.
Why do contractors leave a two inch space between the TOILET & the WALL? Have they ever had to stick their heads, mops or brooms to clean this area? GEEEZZZZZ!
Paulette H or tried to paint it? 🤦🏻♀️
I have a "floating" toilet. I can reach underneath without having to twist my arm or mob to clean the floor
Ah Paulette, the answer to your question would be a NO. I have never figured out yet in 75 years why heating and AC vents are always under windows, dah!
Hi Paulette H,
I agree with you.

Hi Boomer!
Buying a cheap spinbrush toothbrush from Walmart can save alot of elbow grease when cleaning your grout. I use it for shoe cleaning too. Works great.
Use a micro fiber towel on the dog paws, gets them really dry. My dogs all stop to get cleaned off they love it.
Definitely get groute sealer once you get it so clean! Preserves your hard work
Always keep your grout sealed
Your alcohol water and Dawn dish soap can also be poured over paper towels as a handy wipe instead of spraying it into the air and breathing it
I take my vent covers off and wash them - I think that is a lot faster and gets them cleaner.
@Gee Vee not to mention it’s a waste of wipes. That tip was good for he stove and windowsill but otherwise wasteful and inefficient
Girl, I'd love to have your energy. Having a clean home is very important. I'm 71 and have trouble getting around. Your little hacks may help.
I take the vents off and hose them down outside...just takes a few minutes. Nice weather of course!
Thank you for that tip
The knife trick works well. I also use those little craft sponges or sponge paint brushes for getting into small places.
FINALLY! SOMEBODY WITH SOME INGENUITY! Jamie, if I see another lemon in a microwave or baggie of vinegar over a showerhead I think I'm gonna lose it! YOU ARE A TRUE ORIGINAL...I'M SUBSCRIBING, STRAIGHT UP. THANK YOU!
Haha thank you!!
Wouldn't it be faster to use a drill to unscrew the vent and just wash in the sink with soap and water?
I was thinking that myself
This was the 1st time, I watched your video, I'm GLAD I did. Like they say, you learn something new everyday...that's the honest truth...Thanks for the information....
Use your vacuum attachments on vents first and they won't be as dirty when you wipe them down.
Love the idea of putting Refrigerator shelves in the tub. Awesome idea!
Thank you!
Toilet bowl cleaner does great on grout when cleaning tile.
Yessssss brush with a toothbrush and watch the magic happen.
Nalee Sourintha then rinse off the toothbrush well, so they won't suspect a thing. 😁
Ex cheating husband: I’m coming down with a cold. Me: 🤔🤨😎
Toilet bowl cleaner works great but you have to consider your pets and small kids who walk on the floors.
Also bleach will deteriorate the grout over time
This is sooo relaxing cleaning makes you feel in control. X
Just found you and am so encouraged and motivated to clean better. Thank you for sharing.
Omg. For some reason I thought the dog plunger was hilarious! What a cute pup, standing there getting his paws cleaned!
I cleaned my vents yesterday by unscrewing them and wash, for stove I moved it for me it's a lots faster and easier, definitely will buy the carpet cleaner! Thank you for the motivation ♥️
That is a great way to clean it!
Same thing I do with the stove & the vents I remove it & wash it & yes it’s easier . :)
I brush mine then vacuum to finish it off,
@@bonnew6435 Those cracks can be sealed over then nothing can penetrate in that space.
Guess I’m old because I’ve been doing all that for many years. But, the youngsters can learn a lot.🙂
I've read that, with the alcohol/water/dish soap disinfectant mixture, it's best to wait 3-5 minutes after spraying it onto your surfaces before wiping it off, giving it a chance to do its thing and actually disinfect.
Yes, that’s true! With any disinfecting cleaner!
It's called 'dwell time'
Jamie's Journey you’re correct!! It’s better to letter everything sit 3-5 minutes instead of spraying and immediately wiping it off!!
I don't care for the alcohol smell from isopropyl alcohol. I use everclear. 192 proof.
Use a dollar store denture brush to clean vents, around faucets. Much thicker than regular ones.
Well, was gonna replace mine and through old one out..now it goes i cup with the cleaning toothbrushes!! Thanks
Yes! I used one for the first time after my mom died and I was going to throw a brand new one out. Then I decided to use it for cleaning. Amazing! I love the way one end is sort of chiseled into a sort of point in the middle - gets into every space! Now I buy them routinely!
I do this too!
@@Lucinda_Jackson Hi,
Me too.

That is a great tip! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the tip. I've been sweeping mine. Lent flying everywhere 🤣🤣
Buy some grout sealer and you'll only have to reseal about every 3-5 years. Never have to clean your grout again.
Therefore, In my (personal) opinion, I think it is a good idea to do BOTH (SEAL & SANITIZE/CLEAN)!
Personally, I like to RE-SEAL the grout "AND" STEAM my tiles, accordingly. ;-D
Sandy Duncan great tip. I will try that
@@inmyopinionwisdom4986 scrub every inch of my grout till clean, then left it dry spent $90.00 on professional grout sealer.

I pull out my stove to clean the floor and washed down the sides of the cabinet and stove.
That’s great!
This is good but no one is going to do this everyday. Maybe once a month the most. Her idea is a everyday cleaning tip. I like it.
I pull mine out too. I do it once a week. I use to clean professionally and it's honestly easier than most would think.
How do you clean the stove and the tile in the back of the stove
Oven gap guard from lowes..
For those who don't know, hanging organizers on doors can eventually pull your door out of alignment. I support using them, but be careful to only put light items in them (ie: gloves and hats instead of shoes - or - spices and chips instead of peanut butter and cleaning products)
I couldn't wait to try this as I am limited in my home for cleaning products storage space so I will take note of your warnin! Thanks!
I like the cleaner with rubbing alcohol, water and Dawn dish soap, definitely going to try this
This is what I use to clean everything difficult. Those grodee spaces like stove, windows, that window on the pellet stove. .. all grodee spaces.
So will this really work on your stoves
Baking soda and peroxide on grout on floors ! Saran wrap on refridge shelves!
Saran wrap!! I will give that a shot. Thx
Excellent tips! Thank you! Love the fridge cleaning tip and the butter knife and wipe tip!
I use the Dawn dish soap on shower door. But the Rainer sounds great. It repelled
My son used some kind of powder cleaner on our rugs and it affected our dogs respiratory systems!!!
Most oils are fine diffusing as long as it's in a open room and not in a bedroom with the door shut👍 As far as powders..idk I don't have anything like that.
Not just animals but it's bad for us and our children
I let kids pour their own juice by opening didhwasher then the spills are contained anf they get a skill
I use the shop vac to vacuum the hepa filters on my shark vacuum
I do that, thanks for the heads up
Some good ideas! Just a tip, I almost clicked off before it started. Your intro is cute but too long.
Just what I was thinking nearly moved on
Me too !
Me too!
Too much intro
Great tips. For refrigerator I use parchment paper to line shelves, doors and drawers. Makes cleaning super simple.
My OCD would not allow me to soak anything from the refrigerator in the tub. I just could not do it. Then use personal towels to dry them. 🥴 I *have* to wash my towels twice.
Elizabeth Eth Tyler that's a great idea
@4:23 alternative: unscrew all vents, in the Fall and Spring, and use your hose to wash on them all off at once, on your driveway.
CLEAR AMMONIA from the dollar store is so effective and cheap for a carpet cleaner. I use about 4:1 with just hot water. So clean and fresh.
Be blessed!
@@KatarinaS. Also use it on my furniture with the furniture attachment hose.
Excellent tips. Thank you 🙏🏻 We definitely wish to see part 2 and 3.
Thanks for sharing!
For cleaning window tracks...an old tooth brush gets it really clean and you can use a bowl of soapy water to keep cleaning the brush off as you go
You are amazing ! Thanks for the tips and I love your channel!
Thanks for watching!
