Yesterday I did a day trip from BER to LCY and back from LCY. The only positive thing with LCY is that you don't have long walks from departure to immigration, I prefer Heathrow better for planespotting. My next flight to London is to LHR. I have been to London more than 20 times and don't get enough of this wonderful city.
A very enjoyable video. The Embraer E190 is a lovely aircraft. We used to see a lot of them in Southampton but British Airways have ceased operations from Southampton so I quite miss them as my house is next to the final approach route to the airport here. By the way would I be right in saying that the stunning music you featured at the end of this video was Nora Jones? because I love her voice.
Thank you fo>r your kind comments. The lady singer is Scarlet Parke singing Long Night Falling. It is from a collection of Copyright Free Music for RUclips by Audiio.com :-)
Thanks for the lovely video! I love the Embraer planes BA is using, since you have decent legroom in every seat! Normally my run would be Dusseldorf to LCY. In February I'm finally getting the Business experience, looking forward!
Brilliant journey and presentation Swinn. 1hr 20 sounds like my sort of flight. Just enough time for a cuppa and a P. Loved the aerial scenes particularly the wind farm for some odd reason, maybe the one off of Newhaven could look similar. I look forward to seeing Berlin in the sun. Couldn`t help but notice you were donning a hat, very you i think. 😎 I would award you 10 likes if i could.
Only 7 likes? I enjoyed the views from aboard. Last year May I flew in from Rotterdam to London City Airport, We landed on rwy 27, so from the east, as you did. But as I left London rwy 09 was in use. So we departed eastbound, away from London City. I am not sure the take off is steeper than on other airports, they always want to climb away from the ground obstacles as fast as possible, of course with in the limits of passenger comfort. But the ILS approach is steeper, 5 degr instead of the ususal 3 degr glide slope. Thanks for sharing.
It's called Berln Brandenburg airport. Berlin doesn't belong to Brandenburg. It's in Brandenburg but doesn't belong to Brandenburg. Before you make an statement do some research, please.

Wow, at this rate, you'll be a London tour guide soon! Just remember to pack your walking shoes for Heathrow; those terminals can be a workout!

Hi, Thank you for your comments
There is a difference in food and space.
Thanks for watching
Wot,no queues?
Great wasn't it?
The business class only flght to New York was stopped in 2020
Such a shame I have always fancied that - oh well too late!

It’s a bit condescending saying those at the back !!!! Being in business class don’t make ppl smarter or immortal 😉
I wasn't meant that way, as I normally travel "at the back". Sorry!
Rubbish clickbait title. There's nothing scary about the takeoff. You just want attention. You can't have mine.
Thanks for the comments. I am always interested in what people say.
