Rode VideoMic Go II Review | The Best Budget All Around Mic!

Thanks for the video! I have the Røde VideoMicro and I struggle a lot with background noise. If I use it for vlogging (i.e. it's on my camera and therefore not super close to my face) and the surroundings are very quiet, there's a fairly loud background noise. You can remove it in post, but it changes the sound of my voice slightly and I'm not impressed. Do you have any experience with that? Is the Go 2 better in this regard?
I've also started doing some Twitch streaming and because I didn't want to invest heavily, I started using the mic of my wired Apple earphones. It's actually pretty good for voice, and when I connected my VideoMicro, I couldn't get it to sound nearly as good. Does the Go 2 work out of the box with software like OBS? I'd prefer not to have to install additional software in order to use the mic.

Hi. I'm sorry I saw that you have my same Fuji, since I'm feeling a bit of background noise outside but still the volume is good, did you turn up the volume in post or directly on the fuji? in addition I ask you, how does the microphone behave in windy conditions? thank you very much 😄
