Fiberlyze is a great product for regularity. Simply said. It works great. I don’t know if it has other benefits.
Cortisol and insulin are counter- regulatory, so it could also be the slow trickle release of insulin throughout the night from consuming the products reducing morning cortisol and therefore lowering the blood sugar spike in the morning
When I take 10g of whey isolate my blood sugar doesn't change. But blood sugar rises almost instantly when I take more than 10 grams. And more I take more blood sugar rises. WHY?
Because whey digest fast and gives an insulin spike to drive the aminos forward
@Natty Fatty Powerlifting OK. Yes I see what your saying now. Listen man my type 1 D son eats a high protein diet. Its been his choice. I think he started to adapt to this lately as he prefers not to need extra insulin shots. He's 14 btw. 2 years sick now. He actually died for a few minutes. Fucking doctors never pi ked up on it. My wife even asked if it's signs of diabetes. Anyway.
He has not had a protein shake. Are you only meaning shakes? I do find it hard to believe that protein will spike you much. Unless your into Keto.

@@Daniel.Patrick.Walsh88 Sorry to hear that. Best wishes to you and your son. Well indeed I am in keto (or at least try to be). The limit is 10g of pure isolate shake. With food it's like 2-3 eggs. After half an hour pause I can have another low protein meal without affecting blood sugar. So is it gluconeogenesis then? And why keto matters in this case?
@Natty Fatty Powerlifting Ive Read alot about this also and what you say is correct for some. Not sure how fast it can spike. One way to find out is try some fasted and check bloods. See most doctors or dietitians will and have argued with me about this topic. I've talked about protein converting but they always say either it's not really possible... Or it only happens in rare cases if the body is starving for glucose.. I can see this point also. Best thing is try and then check bloods. It's easy to control once it's understood.. I've even had arguments with professional diabetic doctors about how fat slows down digestion of carbs. And only until now 2 years later do they agree as now all the diabetic equipment is able to collect data all week he wears a scanner on his arm. Anyway it shows graphs. And then show what he ate at the time and anytime the fats were high the graph was more stable. Fuck real keto diets. Sound awful lol. Peace man
It’s really sad that people just bash others for trying to help. Dave has products that r quality. No one can use every one made. He gives his take and info on all aspects of fitness. Can’t people just take the info they need instead of killing the messenger. Dave believes in his stuff so why shouldn’t he push the sale. Come on now. I HIGHLY recommend fiberlyze to everyone it’s an amazing fiber product that works extremely well. However the label over the container is absolute trash and needs to be upgraded to a sticker or something like redcon 1 supplement bottles lol
