The green is for your scalp and hair. The blue is just for your hair. It's stated on the jars. Both products are good. I just started back using blue magic after so many years. Thank you for this video.
I love the blue one, I use it on my scalp too because I’m very high porosity & it keeps my scalp from itching!!!😬😁 It does say on the blue jar for conditioning hair & scalp.☺️💜, not in her video, but it says it on the one I have, just noticed that.
I used to love green. Used it as a child. I just tried the blue recently for the first time ever and I was like "green what?".😆 I use blue exclusively now. It goes on smoother and my hair feels moisturized longer. I think the mineral oil in the blue does my hair good.
Blue magic is awesome! I use both ones. They both help my hair in different ways. For some reason, the green one stretch my hair and give me a more straight look rather than curly. Maybe it's because my hair type is 3b/3c. The blue one shine, curls my hair, and gives me more moisture than the green. I tend to use the blue one more.
Hey!! I completely agree that the green hair grease helps to stretch natural hair, at least it does to mine also. It’s interesting that the blue moisturizes your hair more. As you’ve stated, it affects you differently due to your hair type. Thanks for sharing 😄😄
I didn't think about there being so many differences in the products. I'm definitely going to try the green one since I'm also about keeping my hands out of my hair. After trying a ton of products once I learned there was a thing as the natural hair community, I struggled to retain my hair. I have 4 c hair and always had braids bc it was easy to manage and oil my scalp only time i ever washed my hair was when it was time to get my hair redone. It brought out the best in my natural curls or coils when it shrinks but after blow drying after wash and condition you see how thick it is later and long it is later I would say keep those ends nice and cut for longer hair ig

What Is The Appropriate Way To Apply All These Different Greases? Use One For A Week... Then Switch To Another One The Next Or Apply Every Other Day With Out Clogging Your Hair
The most important thing is to wash your hair with a sulfate-based shampoo on a regular basis to remove buildup on your strands as these products are occlusive.
@@almajerry244 The shampoo that I love and have been using for probably over 15 years is V05 Kiwi Lime Squeeze Clarifying Shampoo. It is super inexpensive and easy to find (Walmart, beauty supply stores, Dollar Tree...). It is super effective without stripping all moisture in your hair like many clarifying shampoos do. I only use it when needed, though. I use a moisturizing shampoo as my "regular" shampoo.
Hello sis,I just wondering my hair is low porosity. What is your hair type High, Medium or Low porosity? I try to find which one of the blue magic going to work for me.
Hey! I have low porosity hair. The blue hair grease is a thin consistency and the green is super thick and sits on your hair a little more than the blue.
petroleum and lanolin, really isn't all that good for our hair. we had to use it because of oppression. That was available to us. I guess. our hair does need a really good sealant.
As child my hair was long and my mother used grease When my daughters hair always had split ends i used grease twice a week and got rid if the problem. Grease is perfectly fine
Yes it is! I stopped using hair grease because I believed petroleum and lanolin wasn’t good for my hair. Lies! It’s perfect for my hair. My hair is Thick and thriving whenever I use Blue Magic and Dax. ♥️

@@strausshunter5049 hey, You mentioned dry scalp so I assumed you want it to put on your scalp so I said the blue hair grease, but now you mentioned dry hair. I still recommend the blue bottle since you have a low hair cut.
Now this answer varies. I have long hair but I apply the grease once a week (if my hair is super dry I apply one more time) and wash it weekly. How often do you wash your hair now?
I’d say that it helps to retain the length you have which will able you to see length. For hair growth I highly suggest Jamaican black castor oil rosemary . I have a video of me using it when I had a bald spot and how it helped grow my hair.
Hey! I’ve been using the African pride olive miracle leave in and moisturizer since I started my hair journey. They’re both a thinner consistency but I use them first and then the blue magic oil to seal in the moisture.
Hey! When researching this is what I see: Amylcinnamyl alcohol is a chemical that is used to add an aromatic flavor to a variety of personal care products, most popularly perfumes. The most important thing is to wash your hair with a sulfate-based shampoo on a regular basis to remove buildup on your strands as these products are occlusive.
@@KC-ed1djWhich sulfate shampoo would you recommend to remove grease from the hair?
@@Tiffystyles Okay thanks!
I love the green one, and the carrot oil leave in conditioner 🥰
I’m using the castor oil one now, i feel like o need to try all of them lol
@@Tiffystyles 😂me too. I just started using it about a week ago and it already has my hair growing so fast 💯🙌🏾
@@Tiffystylesthe castor oil blue magic? Im using that one now. Trying to pick which one next 😅
Loooooove this ! I had no idea which ones to chose 💗 Could you review more products from this Line ?
Glad you enjoyed the video!! I actually am going to review more. I bought the tea tree oil hair grease and plan on using more.
@@Tiffystyles Yeeeeeeees ! Can't wait 🤗
Very informative. Do you have fine hair ? What about your porosity ?
Hey! I have fine dense low porosity hair 😄.
@@Tiffystyles Thanks for responding :)
I use blue magic the yellow kind.
The vitamin E one?
@@Tiffystyles yes the Vit E one. I used it with softee twist and curl gel. I know it sounds weird but girl, the moisture, and the softness is on 10.
Loll it doesn’t sound weird at all. That actually sounds like a good mix. I’m glad you found a mix that works !
I have very thick 4C afro hair what blue magic do you recommend?
Hey! I’d suggest the green. It’s a thicker texture for your thick hair.
Green is my favorite.
Same!!!
Does the blue coloured blue magic contain protein?
petroleum and lanolin, really isn't all that good for our hair. we had to use it because of oppression. That was available to us. I guess. our hair does need a really good sealant.
As child my hair was long and my mother used grease
When my daughters hair always had split ends i used grease twice a week and got rid if the problem. Grease is perfectly fine
Yes it is! I stopped using hair grease because I believed petroleum and lanolin wasn’t good for my hair. Lies! It’s perfect for my hair. My hair is Thick and thriving whenever I use Blue Magic and Dax. ♥️
This youtubers got me brainwash I have purchased a bunch of hair product and non of them work,,,I'm going back to blue magic
I know this is old but going forward, the batteries need changing in the fire alarm. Like why so many black youtubers have that noise in the background and think it's normal. 😖😖😖😖 🙄
Love your videos by the way 😊
Lol I guess we just don’t hear it after a while . I’m sure it’s not just black youtubers. Thank you !
@@Tiffystyles no hard feelings here just an observation when I watch videos and it's mostly from 'us' blacks lol . I'm from the island too. Not sure if it's something they don't understand but just for safety, it means batteries need a change 😊
Thank you so much for this!!
You’re welcome!!!
So I mustn't wash it out (the green )??
It works only like leave in conditioner ?
You’re right, don’t wash it out. You use it to seal in your moisturizer and leave in conditioner .
I used the white blue magic and sometimes the blue magic
Nice, I’ve never tried the white one.
Indian hemp seeds oil with sunflower oil work wonder's for my hair
I've been hearing about Indian hemp seed oil. I have to google it. I'm glad you have something that works for your hair. So many people struggle with that.
The blue 4 me
have not used it before but my hair is always dry and stunted growth . which of the two could be helpful. thnx
Hmmmm I suggest trying the green first because it does really well with holding in moisture. Add your products first and then the hair grease .
my afro huge makes my hair wavy and curly
i use bergamot blue and doo grow
I’ve heard a lot of good things about those products.
Green 💚
Yes!!
All Day!! My hair has gotten so thick from the green. . Don't like the blue one too much.
The blue was a bit to heavy for me.
Oh really, so it’s the opposite for us.
Which one is good for dry scalp and short hair cuts and which one is for unisex
Men use blue magic products. You can definitely use both. I don’t use the green on my scalp because it’s thicker than the blue one so I’d say to use the blue since it’s not as thick.
You didn't answer my question which blue magic hair grease should I use I'm a guy and I'm 33 and I wear a bald fade haircut and my hair is dry which Blue Magic grease should I use and which one do you recommend for me the green one or the blue one based on what I've told you
@@strausshunter5049 hey, You mentioned dry scalp so I assumed you want it to put on your scalp so I said the blue hair grease, but now you mentioned dry hair. I still recommend the blue bottle since you have a low hair cut.
@@Tiffystyles 👌thanks and how long do I leave the grease in my hair and how often should I wash and shampoo it
Now this answer varies. I have long hair but I apply the grease once a week (if my hair is super dry I apply one more time) and wash it weekly. How often do you wash your hair now?
Will the green one make my hair grow?
I’d say that it helps to retain the length you have which will able you to see length. For hair growth I highly suggest Jamaican black castor oil rosemary . I have a video of me using it when I had a bald spot and how it helped grow my hair.
Do you use any other product like a cream or leave in with it?
Hey! I’ve been using the African pride olive miracle leave in and moisturizer since I started my hair journey. They’re both a thinner consistency but I use them first and then the blue magic oil to seal in the moisture.
Blue for me thx.👈🏽🔥
I love your video ty ❤️
I’m glad you enjoyed it. You’re welcome!
Do it make the hair grow ?
It helps to retain the length you have. Therefore when your hair grows monthly you will be able to see growth since it isn’t breaking from split ends.
bald headed women need this
??
Blue is better for your scalp
Hmm I guess because its lighter texture
Who makes blue magic I heard a person makes it don't use grease
Blue
🤩🤩🤩🤩
❤❤❤❤
how about the alcohol?
Hey!
When researching this is what I see: Amylcinnamyl alcohol is a chemical that is used to add an aromatic flavor to a variety of personal care products, most popularly perfumes. With a flowery, light scent, alpha-Amylcinnamyl alcohol is a pleasant and decorative ingredient.
I’m going to do more research, but this is a good question. Thanks for asking.
Lecithin IS in both though you said it wasn't. And please change your fire alarm batteries, sorry that beep freaks out my dog lol
That’s the same thing I said, they both had lecithin in it.
They both have lecithin
??!
I’m sorry I do not like the way that grease smell or feel. I just don’t care for too much grease in my hair. My stylist doesn’t use grease or oil in my natural hair 🤷🏾♀️
That’s absolutely fine! Not everyone will like it. I’m sure what you’re using works for your hair now.
"greese"? It doesnt even say greese on the label! Can you read? Its 2024 for gods sake.
Love that you don’t know it’s a hair grease. We learn something new daily. Have a wonderful day 🧡
@@Tiffystyles grease. Can you read is the ?
Okay, as I said above. Be blessed !
Do you use blue magic hair grease and did you notice a difference between the green and blue hair grease?!
