I notice your screws are rusted around the compressor area and handles,. You've gotten it wet around the circuitry through the heat vents at some stage,. maybe from your garden sprinklers or rain or spilt drinks some party night. The problem is not the fridge, it's you. You also could have dismantled it and sold the parts on the net,. even get just twenty bucks for the parts is better than making a fool of yourself on you tube.

The unit can be fixed no matter what.
I think the hardest things to fix are humans.

Mine has done the same, but I got 3 flashes. Indicating a compressor start error.
I pulled the danfoss control board out and inspected it, finding a blown MOSFET on the motor output circuit. I haven't repaired it yet but once the new chip arrives I'll get it going again.

You can bypass the control board by switching the emergency switch to on....
This bypasses the controls, and maybe even install a $20-$30 after market thermsistor controller and maybe that could've saved a whole lot of this?

That only works if the waeco circuit boards have failed. If the danfoss compressor control board has failed then nothing will get it going.

Miles Above bill shit. I got 2 of these fridges now and ripped out all of the electrics and installed $5 units from eBay. Now have 2 excellent fridges for around $10

I would have tried plugging a new thermister in the top pcb for starters - If you don't have a Waeco thermister (and lets face it they are hard to come by) I have discovered that a Hotpoint (UK) thermister is similar resistance rating.. (10k.ohm-NTC) That is the most common failing on these machines. Alternatively if you have the fault code (5-flashes?) the machine is trying to tell you what is wrong! Do your homework on the www and look the code up..!

Totally agree, fucking expensive piece of shit ($900), mine is 5 yrs old, probably used 20 times, 240v board stuffed up after 2yrs, they wanted $400 to repair, now compressor won't cut in on 12 v use when temp goes above set temp....Waeco shit
