Great review mate. I have 2 of these fridges and I reckon they are the best model waeco have ever made. Mine have copped a belting in the landcruiser aswell 👍
Yes. I had a problem with the thermistor failing at 3.5 years. Cost $100 to replace. Apart from that it's been a good fridge for the price. Still going strong now.
Depends how big your battery is. Ive never run mine flat so don't know. Should get 2 days or so from a 100ah battery. Amp draw will be on the website. Its very dependent on the conditions
Hey mate I have 2 of these fridges. They are brilliant. They draw around 2-3.5 amps when they fire up. But to maintain the temp they only draw about .8-1.0 amps 👍
Great review, was thinking about picking one up for occasional road trips / weeks away around Australia. $699 on sale from Anaconda atm. I'm just wondering, does this handle fine for you off just the regular 12v cigarette lighter? You didn't wire in a direct terminal to the battery or anything? Thanks heaps!
Yes mate that is fine. They use very little power and don't draw many amps. I run it off the second battery in my ute tub so it's got a constant power source. Sing out if you have any other questions

I've a cf50 for 22 years and still going strong. I have to replace the lid seal as it is falling to pieces. Not bad for its age.
Cheers mate think I will pick one up!
Good video thank you
Thanks for uploading :D
2 years later, do you still have it?
I see they still sell them at nearly half the price of the CFX models.

Thanks for the review mate, how long does it run off your 12v battery? Do you know what the actual draw is in amps?
