Why does the dot operator frequently not work in saved searches? There are a lot of times when I know a field exists but {[field].[attribute]} returns "ERROR: Field Not Found" in the results column. for example, for a transaction search on bills, {entity.entityid} returns a field not found error. Same with {entity.category}
It's hard to say, sometimes the actual field name is different than what you input or the records you're looking for are under a different join. Sometimes you have to play around with it and test things out to get what you want.
My main frustration at the moment is not being able to include a full-year budget column in the same report as, for example, a Q1 report. In other words, if I generate a Q1 report comparing Actual vs. Budget for the first three columns, I would like to add a fourth column that displays the full-year budget as a constant value. Ideally, I would also like to create a fifth column to calculate the remaining spending budget by subtracting the Actual numbers for Q1 (first column) from the Full Year Budget (fourth column).
Sorry, it's hard for me to coach you through without having it in front of me. The Report customization feature is a real pain, but it sounds like what you want is doable.
can you help me with making a report on cost accounting for all assembly items? I downloaded the cost of bill materials but it only let me do 1 assembly at a time … i am having a hard time to pull for all assembly items - thank you
Native netsuite doesn't allow cost accounting for multiple assembly items. One workaround is to make a saved search that can pull cost accounting for single layer BOM assembly items, but that may not be enough for what you need.
Hi Picker of Jeeps! Yes, actually there is. If you click on the print button and on the pop-up print window click the "More Settings" option. Near the bottom there is a "Scale" button, which you can switch to Custom and then increase the size to a bigger font.

Can I set up an email notification for any order placed (fulfilled or not)? Ultimately I want to set up a MS flow that will take the order info and post that order information to a Teams Channel. I am not looking for a service to handle this. Thanks.
Sure, there's a few ways to do that. You can set up a Saved Search that sends you email alerts, or you can make a simple Workflow that emails you every time an order is placed. SuiteScripts could also be used if you want to get more elaborate.
With the company I am working for right now, It would help me if I was able to create a report that eliminates POs or orders that have been fulfilled but not have had cost allocation yet. Could be another Video hehe
