Tyson Bagent has one of the quickest releases for a rookie I’ve seen. And he always knows the defense, no issues calling plays at the line and avoiding pressure, good dual threat too.
Need to see him uncork it though.

Was this man living under Field's shadow the whole time? If this keeps up, bears could have a strong late-season showing (maybe see 'em get to .500 first?)

Good decision making. If he can't throw down the field he'll get burned later by a competent coach/game-plan. Some real pass protection might help.
Hopefully some time on the bench will help Fields study up and work on his reads, it's hard to work on that while also trying to win games.

Bears won clock battle 34 minutes - 25 minutes, meaning the offense was nothing spectacular but instead efficient and grinding out yards + time.
Offense committed no turnovers and allowed ZERO sacks. Offense did its part to keep defense off the field and allow them to be rested.

I think too often too much emphasis is placed on where you went to school, if you were a walk-on versus a blue chip recruit, where you went in the draft or if you were an undrafted free agent. Hope he does well. Actually looks a lot more poised than Fields when you consider Fields has been in the NFL for 3 years and Bagent 3 months…

@@Walker-ow7vj u say dumb comment ?? U say bears style like they adopted some type of style since 1985 ?? They had Soo many players and players and coaches come and go since then what style?? U have what u have thats the only style u have y'all better give that rookie QB a shot who played a good poised game yesterday instead of fields bring him in on certain situations or let him play running back or receiver because he ain't it Mr style

I hope the head coach will keep Justin field out the remainder of the season just to see how far Tyson can take us but he did do a very good job today

If you only had one highlight today to describe the Raiders' play, the last one says it all. TE wide open for an easy 2 pts and falls down.
Only Hoyer actually throws deep. Can't get Jacobs moving despite being the #1 RB last year. D-backs can't tackle - look no further than #24; give his job up to his replacement - can't do worse. One would say they're shocked they're 3-4, but look who they beat. If Brady and Rogers were still playing, and the Broncos just a bit better, the Raiders would be 0-7.

Bagent played at my highschool and our college 15 minutes away, I’m glad he gets to display his talent to the world!

Tyson Bagent is looking good and seems to have eyes on the back of his head. We'll see who has that job for real in the next week or so. Fields would be alright if he just calmed down and played football instead of trying to be Mr. Everything.
