Thanks for making this! The only experience I have flashing cars is through MHD. Knowing the exact steps on Jackal’s platform is helpful. I’m sure Matt would help walk me through it but you save him the headache that is me!

I’m thinking of going jackal but I already bought a 034 tuning cable awhile back so 🤷🏽 not sure which one to go with.
Honestly, both are great. You won't be disappointed in either of them.
I just bought the 034 stage 1 engine and DSG tune. It’s arriving next week. Can’t wait.

do you recommend a heat exchanger even for stage 1? I got a C7.5 A6 3.0T and looking to do stage 1 and the TCU tune for the ZF8
I definitely would. I'm actually still on the stock heat exchanger and will be upgrading in the near future. The S4 is my daily and I don't race everyone on the road or track it, so right now it's not a big concern in my case.
When you go stage 1, can you still use 91 gas or is it only safe to use 93?
You can use either or. You just need to select the correct tune either stage 1 91oct tune or stage 1 93oct tune.
Can you flash back to stock at no cost ??

I really want to throw a tune on my b8 s4, but I heard the stock cats fail once a tunes on for a bit. Do you have test pipes on it?
I honestly feel like it all depends on how you drive and take care of the car. I've already put about 2k miles on the car with the tune and it's been good. I do not have test pipes on. I feel like it's mostly those who drives hard alot, races alot, have two steps and burbles that basically kills cats. My old B8 S4 had an APR tune that was tuned by the previous owner and I put on about 40k miles and stock cats were still fine.

@@cjscarcollection18don’t know if you’ll see this, but I just gutted my cats at 82k after being jackal stage 1 for 5k then stage 2 for 1k, and after taking them off, they were definitely starting to melt. It’s not really about how hard the car was driven, they fail because of the proximity to the engine. At some point, maybe when you’re doing motor mounts and the subframe is already dropped, I would recommend getting rid of the cats in the stock location because they will fail eventually.
@c_lite8259 I see. Thanks for that info. I'm trying to hold out as long as possible on doing anything with the cats cause CA isn't fun with cats haha

No no lights at all. Already put on about 2k miles and still no lights or issues 👍
does this tune have a pop tune?
It does not at this time.
