I have no expertise with regards to singing, I work construction on power transmission towers way up in difficult to reach forests and mountains. Still, when I'm a 150' in the air hanging from a cable and I can feel a tear forming in my eye from a singer's voice coming through my earbuds I know it's good.

She has sung this quite a few times live , so it shouldn’t be hard to find any of the performances you need to compare to the studio version.
Why does no one REALLY sing anymore? Adele is a REAL artist, something unseen in the world today with all the fabricated BS and the autotune. I love music but HATE where music has gone in the last decade. It's depressing.

I must admitt, my knowledge and awareness of Adele and her music was scarce until Angelina came along and presented her Adele covers. By this song I think I`m really getting the hang of it, her greatness and fame. I like this song a lot.
As being a bit into the seniorship of my life, it`s a fact that Adele is not the only artist young Angelina has introdused me to, so you see; - I have a lot to thank her for. Refreshment of all these classics, and even introdusing me to new artists and new music. As always, - love your reviews and comments. 🙂👍

you should react to her new song "To Be Loved" she sang that song in her living room and recorded it on her laptop. The best thing I heard all year.

It also helps that she's inflicting the "H"eeeeasssyyy and the "H"even. It allows her to slur the words slightly and save her vocal cords and breathing pattern. It's a slight infliction, but brilliant. Also helps mask the notes falling to the flat range some times. I can't hit the high "A" to save my life anymore - but she's still got it!

As I often say..soprano voices often impress me..But nothing beats an alto voice when it comes to emotions... That soul, that emotion, gospel with a little pinch of sadness, rasp and maturity. Is a way more talking to me than all the bubblegum pop girls with impressing high soprano voices...

I’m glad you’re pointing out all of the things I’ve noticed with the easier and more efficient ways that she’s singing now, and how she’s making smarter choices like using a mix and a head voice, instead of chest belting . I’m glad you finally watched this.
Wow, I've been an Adele fan for about 10 years and an Angelina Jordan fan for almost 5 years. This is really good but, I've seen her doing a live performance of it and that was much better. And, of course, Angelina does a really great version of it. However, looking at some of the comments from so-called Angelina fans makes me cringe. I really hope you can ignore those who are so rabid and narrow-minded. I'm sure Angelina, herself, would be very much against the mean-spirited stuff I've seen here. I'm really happy to see Adele coming back so strong and your reaction/analysis here was worth the wait.
Her album 30 is literally a gem . A masterpiece if I may. Wow . Worth 6 years wait.

Hi Christi I think this album is awesome. You're looking Beautiful. I have her other cds. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to your family. I'm following Ann Wilson from Heart on RUclips. She finished another solo tour in October and her voice is still strong even though she's list some of her higher register. She does the song Dream On by Aerosmith. She's wrote at least 4 new songs. She looks Beautiful at 71. That's what happened to Marko when he had his own operation. He had to learn to sing again. You should checkout Marko singing Wings of Darkness from Tarot on 1986 and then watch the 25 th Anniversary to see the difference.

When relistening to this from Adele it is even more clear to me how Angelina resembles her in her cover in most of the song. Who you prefer is a matter of taste. 😉

Her dynamic range and control improved so much. There's so much flexibility in moving between registers and more power in upper register. I'd like to hear your opinion on Angelina's cover, 'cause I'm totally not impressed and don't understand the hype. Also, I'd like to suggest Adele singing To be loved, in her living room, while sitting on the couch. This is such a treat for vocal coaches

I love Adele and this is a fantastic song, but I have to admit that it's Angelina's version that I prefer and listen to all the time. Angelina is true to the original, almost painfully so, but Angelina sings it better, in my opinion
For me, Adele was the greatest singer of this century, was, until I saw and heard a Norwegian 7-8 year old kid sing 7 years ago. Adele is still 2nd best, but no one can beat Angelina considering the versatility of her voice, her young age and her prodigious perfectionism.
Adele touches my heart, Angelina my soul.
I don’t know why you Angelina fans can’t get over it already. OK we get it, you prefer her version, do you have to completely swarm her comments sections and others with this opinion? Like you’re on a mission to change the world minds about Adele? Give Adele the credit and the respect that she deserves already. @@Rosannasfriend I think I can help you out here. For myself, I became a big Norah Jones fan, but, then came Adele. She was everything Carole King was to me as a child, a great singer and a great songwriter. Now, when Adele took hiatus for 6 years, the future was introduced, however, this one was young, very young. This girl Angelina also covers many of the songs of our youth, and has a very unique voice, that is so rich, it's Adele +. Adele is waaaaay better at songwriting and may very well always be. What Norah and Adele represented when the first started, was what is good in the world. Norah is Norah. She hasnt changed much. She has chosen to stay where she's at. Adele reached a more broad audience. She was also attractive and full figured and her songs had clean lyrics. With marital issues and weight loss, I think it made many of her fans a bit sour. With Angelina, its good on steroids. Everything about the girl is pure and honest and innocent. She has worked relentlessly at her craft. Very little formal training, has raised millions for childrens charities, comes from a good family, changes lyrics to be age appropriate, plays several instruments, incredible voice, diverse in vocal abilities, etc......she IS the future. Right now, Adele is 100x more popular, and deservedly so. Nobody can touch her NOW. However, Angelina fans know....in just a few years, Angelina, WILL be more popular. At 15, her abilities as a whole, are waaaay ahead of anyone else her age, and I would put her in the top 5 of female vocalist today. Thats how I see it. Angelina adores Adele. She has covered about 6 of her songs and has done almost as well or as well on every single one. Thats why you see the comparisons. Adele's original got 15 million views in the first 8 hours it was released. Angelins cover has roughly 1.5 million in 6 weeks........she has a ways to go.
Adele is sounding more like Angelina. There’s no confusion about who’s singing, but that breath and vocal control reminds me of Angelina. And, Angelina didn’t copy Adele in her cover of this song. There’s room for as many great singers as we can find.
I think it’s terrible you have not had Angelina’s version of this song. It is light years better than Adele!!! Are you afraid?
What is wrong with watching the original first? She states plainly that she’s going to watch that after she watch the original, which is the sensible way to do things. She avoided listening to the original up until she had a chance to watch it on her channel. There is no need to badger this lady.

Light years is a horrible reach. You can prefer one version over the other, but, there is no "light years" between Adele and Angelina.......except total views and songwriting capabilities.....both in Adele's favor.
