Very enjoyable video to watch. Good design flow. My next step is prototyping, which you discussed in the Easter video. How do you calculate all of this to price your designs?
Thanks Steve. A great video and showing the processes involved in design was very educational. Had fun "second guessing" the next stage in the design. I have learnt so much from watching your videos. Thank you for all your time and effort.
Entertaining and educational. Great video. I have learned much about techniques in Lightburn from your and Rich's videos, but the hard part for me is seeing in my mind's eye that a teddy bear is just a collection of primitve shapes. Any tips for expanding that side?
That is something that may not be able to be taught. It may be the way your brain processes the information it receives. Anytime I see a shape or design, I look for and see the primitives that were combined to make that shape. Others see things and see the mathmatical equations that were involved to create the desired angles needed to create a given result. It may be one of those "right-brain" vs "left-brain" thangs. Artistic vs analytical. I've never taken an art class. It is just how my brain processes what it sees. When visiting Disney, I observed someone teaching others how to draw a few of the Disney characters. The wireframes of the characters were created using simple primitive shapes.
Thank you for the video Steve. Love the presentation of this one - nice way to change it up. And ❤ the music selection (especially being one who was a flutist in my younger years and involved in orchestra and jazz band in school). 🎶 🎵
I've been asked by a lot of people, "How long does it take to create something from scratch?", so I thought I'd show them. This was a different style than those before it. But I thought it would be a changeup. Some will like it. Some will not. Can't please everyone.
Hungarian Rhapsody #2 by Franz Liszt..... Talk about bringing back memories that was my recital piece when I was 13
Like me, I am never "finished" with a design.
Excellent design and video. Can't wait for the live stream.

Ha, you could glue on some brown felt cutouts for the pads on the feet!!!
The music idea was great, I remember those day well.
Love the design. And you are not that old🙃

Thank you for watching.
Nice design. Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd...the Barber of Seville is a CLASSIC!
Anime will never hold a candle to Bugs Bunny and Friends.

Really nice, Thank you for taking us along for the design. Learned something new, always!
Thank you! Cheers!
I enjoyed the music in this video better than most of the stuff in the RUclips "free" library.
This was from the FREE RUclips library. But I do spend a lot of time searching for just the right pieces.
