I just love how this engraver opens the door for further creativity. There seems to be limitless room for ideas to come to life. I have several Cricut machines which cuts, prints, embosses paper, cardboard and fabric. It was awesome for doing billboards in the school I owned, creating 3D projects... These machines takes away so much of the difficult work that was once done by hand. I can't wait to see what you do next Steve.
Love the tiles Steve great job 😁 love watching the designs you create,hi Sarah 👋 good luck with all your d.i.y's take care and see you both next time 💕🌼🤗
Very creative, Steve. For some reason I kept thinking Simon and Vivienne would love those tiles and come up with creative ideas. Another reason to get together to brainstorm and experiment. Over champagne, of course.
I live in the Southeast of France…not the same climate or weather at all as in the southwest ! It seems you’ve had a record wet year there 🌧. Stay cozy !
I used to run an industrial version for an Art Foundry. We engraved glass, metal, and stone granite, composites. We used small sand bags for unlevel, odd shaped objects. We also did a sandblast technique with a water soluble mastic that the engraving was etched through in a light machine, applied lined up, plastic cover the rest of the object and sand blasted in the enclosed machine.
Hi Sara & Stephen, The Creality Falcon Laser is a tool perfct for design ability and creativity. The tiles that you created would look great in a dry enviorment instead of ceramic tile. Give that some thought and run with it. Good luck. Mark & Scott
You are so talented Stephen. I you begin to offer your talents to others, be sure you receive your worth in $. I'm sure you agree, talent comes with alot of practice & experience means quality. ❤
I absolutely love those tiles. May I ask what you do with your mishaps? I woukd say keep them all in a box until someone comes over for a crafty workshop. They can be used in so many ways . My fingers are itching. Lol.
That machine has a lot of great features, but it's way out of my budget. It would be nice if it allowed switching those blades for a honeycomb. I'm still working my way up, in the laser sphere. The stained tiles and the door treatment look GREAT! I would suggest trying MDF for engraving pictures, if you don't want the wood grain showing in it. A chateau in the South of France? Sounds awesome (as long as there's a Wal-Mart nearby - hehe).
Sadly no Walmart in France but lots of great shopping. You can take all the blades out and place a honeycomb in. I may try that if the details get any smaller. Thanks for connecting.
Could you make Manor & Maker coasters, christmas tree decs or other items to sell to your audience. I.e, one of your designs with M&M. Could be used to renovate your gorgeous chateau.
Great video! I want one! The Man and ... the Ma-cheen! You make it look so easy! I wonder if Creality would sponsor a Give-Away for your Channel so a lucky Watcher might level up? I love your energy! I dig your vibe! I've been watching you and Sarah since you rolled into Lalande like any other pair of Guests but you manifested much more than a visit; it was an occupation! And these years later you've come to occupy my heart.
Shame on you, Mr. Maker. Rain blesses the landscape, keeping it green, refilling reservoirs & wells and prevents Southern France from becoming a desert. You're terribly lucky. At least France doesn't have to worry about sinking, like New Orleans.
You can hand finish them and go over the edges to knock down the super straight lines, but yeah, it doesn't rival the charm of a handcrafted wood item.
Tile would make wonderful guest gift with Manor Maker logo, use with little clear acrylic photo holder. Love your vision for your Chateau.
What amazing machine !
This would be perfect for making vent covers for the Chateau de Lalonde using their logo.
Friend or no- do a nominal charge.
Steve's having way too much fun with this engraver!
Yes he is😁
Great how to video with this clever man and machine.

Wow - I love the marquetry look of the wood tiles! Cant wait to see more creative projects!

You could do the COOLEST ghostly portraits of yourselves, guests, workshop folks in costume on wood.
Profiles, too, like ye olde paper side portraits.
Great idea!
Are you hosting/letting out another Halloween party?
@@ManorandMaker Great Idea! Too
Mr Steve, this are amazing, wow😱😱😱😱🎉. Such talent❤️
Wow amazing machine! Good match for your creativity .
Thank you very much!
Your tiles are just fabulous 💖
Glad you like them! They turned out great
The designs are stunning really truly these additions bring so much charm. The doors wall and transom will have so much character. ❤
Thank you so much!
I love the tiles and the transom project 😊
Thanks. It will be great to finish the project.
amazing, thank you for these wood /detail demonstrations!
Looks fantastic
Really lovely work. Exciting trying new things!!😊
Those tiles are beautiful 🤩 So many possibilities with this machine. Can’t wait to see what else you create 😍😘
Me too!!

Did you catch any of Jane's vlogs on flooding in her backyard, on the river. "Not Quite A Chateau". Her camera work is amazing for an amateur!
The machine is very impressive. Can't wait to see what you create next.
Me too!
Stephen, Outstanding designs & cutouts. Lots of fun watching your trials & errors! More please! (Now I want my own machine!)
Go for it! I’m having a blast. Thanks for watching. Lots more to come.
Absolutely brilliant, Steve. I can see how it might become addictive. 😁 I was riveted!
Love, Jacqueline from New Zealand
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it

Fantastic ideas I love them all 🥰
Thanks so much 😊

Thank you, I agree. It’s always been a part of my career to convince people my services are worth paying for.
Nice tiles.
Can you cut a thin plastic for a stencil? Did you speak about the importance of venting of the machine?
What fun.
I had the very same idea: stencils repeating patterns already existing around the château would be so cool!!
I absolutely love those tiles. May I ask what you do with your mishaps? I woukd say keep them all in a box until someone comes over for a crafty workshop. They can be used in so many ways . My fingers are itching. Lol.
I do keep a bunch of the off cuts and details for just that reason.
Fun techniques and ideas. ♥️
Glad you like them!
So creative!
Thank you! Cheers!
That is so cool; I've been thinking about a 3D printer but this laser printer....
Hard choice. I would love to get a bigger 3D printer but I would spend so much time it would be irresponsible. Thanks for watching.

Amazing! Love it. Heather
Thanks so much 😊
Would you consider making the center of the decorative pattern for embellishment a fleur de lis?
So interesting, thank you!
Your engraving machine is great! I was wondering with Sarah's love of fabrics perhaps you could carve block printing or a logo on napkins?
Possibly!
Check out Amy Howard for furniture finishing, she has something that ages wood, a non stain. Almost looks water based
Multi levels amazing.
Could you make Manor & Maker coasters, christmas tree decs or other items to sell to your audience. I.e, one of your designs with M&M. Could be used to renovate your gorgeous chateau.
Stay tuned 😉
Sush a versatile printer ❤

That is very kind and we’re happy to be a part of your world. I’ll have to ask Creality, it sounds like a great idea.
Amazing 🫶🇨🇦
Would you ever consider a tutorial for photo shop, separate from this vlog? For a beginner beginner
What a good revenue idea.
My husband wants one so bad. He's coming up with many ideas, but we were wondering if it cuts metal? If so, what type and how thick?
I haven’t cut metal with it yet. I have engraved on metal but I think you would need a stronger on to cut it.
The potential for this 🤔
Indeed!
Shame on you, Mr. Maker. Rain blesses the landscape, keeping it green, refilling reservoirs & wells and prevents Southern France from becoming a desert. You're terribly lucky. At least France doesn't have to worry about sinking, like New Orleans.
New Orleans was built below sea level to begin with it’s always been a disaster waiting to happen…
Laser cut things will allways look like laser cut things...
You can hand finish them and go over the edges to knock down the super straight lines, but yeah, it doesn't rival the charm of a handcrafted wood item.
You’re so nice, but it’s boring to watch you like in this video.
now its look like a publ;icity channel !!! :(
