Hello folks, thank for the nice comments :) We are currently on travels in Europe so make sure you subscribe and hit the notification bell to be notified of every new Vlog! Keep safe!
All those dead locks etc are useless as any car thief knows the quickest way into a sprinter without a bulkhead using a Stanley knife is to cut the rubber seal on either the passenger or driver side front quadrant, then simply pop the glass out, reach in open the door and disable the alarm on the centre console by shoving a button......trick is to make it look like you have a bulk head, basically make sure they cannot see into the cab....ever!
I love the double swivel seat with storage!! I’ve only ever seen single seat ones but I really want to be able to have 3 people travel AND have swivel seats
Hi guys just wondering if you can answer a quick question for me, I’m in the Uk and planning on converting the same mwb sprinter however the van is 3.5 tonnes and with addition weight I don’t think I’m covered with my standard license, did you do the c1 license or have you been fine on the standard drivers licenses, thank you hope you can help and I love your van it’s gave me so many ideas 🙌🏻
3.5 tonnes applies to the total weight not the unladen weight :) If you're sensible with your build out, you shouldn't exceed 3.5t, we haven't :) Hope this helps.
I like the size of this van . It seems a but more spacious than a Volkswagen Transporter or Transit Custom and not as intimidating as a LWB van . Is it difficult to drive compared to an average sized car? . Thanks. Good luck .
Hey! Nice conversion. Quick & probably daft question about the double swivel. Do you have to have the passenger door open to swivel it around? Looking at this option for my van. Cheers
Hey, thanks! tbh i have never tried to swivel with the door open because i usually stand outside to remove the bolts that hold the swivel mechanism in place for driving anyway but I think you could do that from inside without opening the door if necessary :)
@@shaunamoose7809 update! It was pouring down the other day so I swivelled the seat whilst remaining in the back with the doors closed and it worked fine :)
@@sprintervanconversions haha, that's exactly why I was wondering if it is possible without opening the door. Lovely British weather is often drizzly! Glad it works well, thanks again.
Hey Guys, love the van conversion, well done! It looks great, I bet you cant wait to take it out on its first trip! I am currently looking into buying a van to convert into my own camper and this looks to be the perfect size, may I ask what model of MWB Sprint this is? Thanks Ella :)
Thanks Ella, We are already on our first trip and living in the van :) If you subscribe and hit the bell, you'll be notified of every new Vlog. We are currently in Lithuania! Our van is a 310 MWB...tbh it was lacking in power once we finished the conversion (only 95BHP as standard) but i had the van re-mapped to gain some extra BHP (and MPG!) :D
nice van folks although it bothered me that you dont have a gas box with a gas drop out vent and have you really got an orange flex hose running from the gas bottle all the way round to the cooker ? very unsafe in all ways
Hi Mark, yes totally understand and thanks for your concern! If you have subscribed, you'll see one of our next videos is of just this! I have today finished the gas cupboard along with drop out vent, sealed door, plinth of over 50mm below door and reduced the flex pipe to under 800mm as per European regulations. Sealed it all up with sikaflex and ready to go :)
@@sprintervanconversions hello both nice to hear from you and your safe although as fas as i am aware the only flexi hose you should have is a short piece from bottle in gas locker to copper connector in box and from the outside of the box to cooker should be copper with an isolation switch as close as possible the the gas locker ? From your mention of 800mm of flexi hose i think that is more a recomendation for a portable camping cooker ?
@@clarkspiemuncher24 Hi Mark, I am not 100% sure on that to be honest. I did consider doing copper pipe install from the cupboard but as we only supply one appliance, we thought it best to de-crease chance of a leak by decreasing the number of connections. Also, with the vibration of the van, common sense tells me the braided flex pipe (rated for the pressure and not exceeding use by date) holds less chance of leaking than a hard connection. All the hose is held with rubber clamps and doesn't chafe on any edges and is also jubilee clipped onto a barbed connection both at the regulator and at the hob. We have an isolation tap on the bottle itself and will turn it off every time we stop using it anyway (this is the main reason i have now moved it to just next to the kitchen for easy access), since this is what we used to do in our old van, we are well in the habit of doing so.

It's super handy!
Well done guys.We have a fixed bed. Can't be bothered to keep making it.
It was such a pain in our old van! Fixed bed is definitely the way to go if the van is big enough!
Simple and cozy, i love it!
Yay, Thanks!

No, it’s a breeze to drive. Air con, cruise control…feels like a car :)

Hi there, thanks for your video - just wondering about your double swivel seat was it made in the UK? cheers
Leonard Harris yes it was! :) do you want the details of the manufacturer?
Lindy Vanner Yes that would be great . Thanks :)
Leonard Harris no problem. Send me a private message on Instagram. I don’t think it is possible to message through RUclips :)
