Life is made richer by experiencing different musicians take on the same song.
Robert Plant - after all these years and he still has it as far as I'm concerned!
This song always makes me totally shrugs, moves my emotions deeply .. A wonderful, emotional song ..
the Master at work
best version
love it
COOL!
Right on! Comparing the two is like comparing apples to oranges. Tyminski's is the bluegrass interpretation, Plant's is the rock version. Both are amongst the best singers in their respective genres. Personally I love both renditions.
i would highly recommend listening to the phillip henry version of this song.....it will blow you away!!!!!
this version is wonderful though
I'd love to see this on an album or somewhere without the Crossroads piece in the middle...
@MrToxigef thanxs for this I always wanted to hear this without the CMT stuff.
"comparisons are odious" - Cervantes.
I like this song better with Plant..and of course who doesn't love Alison < my hearthrob
@MrToxigef You got a point there !! LOL !! No Offense Meant!!
this Robert plant you young ones who don't know,,,get out the led baby
this is è single album?
Dan Tyminski blows him away!! Not even close Plant!!
Dan who?
Tyminski kills it. Not even close Plant.
@MrToxigef point being??? tyminski does it better IMO!!
No. No. No. He has nothing on Dan.
Don't care for it.
If robert plant is considered a rock god, then i will consider voting for obama next election... and we all know that sure as hell ain't happening
No Robert! Leave AKUS songs alone. This is terrible imo. He killed all of the musicality in it.
