It's an absolute pleasure that you even saw this video, I'd love to talk with y'all more about this! What's the best way to contact someone ? I can also be reached at dan@gamingcaravan.com 😁 Either way, thank you for the kind words! Always exciting to share the EDGE 🔥
Please turn off/down the music when you're speaking, it's so much white noise over the voice if you don't have a good mic set up. Thanks for the video.
Mine too. The top fin was broken off. Luckily, is used some super glue and was able to situate my arms to hold the piece firmly for the 5 minutes it took to dry. It was a very thin piece of plastic holding the entire fin on, so I'm not surprised it broke.
Hi, thanks for your great review but I'm kind of confused... if i got the basic Andromeda's Edge, Supernova Component upgrade kit, The Exotic Matter Expansion and the Escalation Expansion, is there anything I'd not be getting from the KS Deluxe Edition? (also is Exotic Matter expansion in the KS All-in pledge?)
hey there! thanks for asking. to be honest, I truly don't know, this is just from what I've read. I believe there are some promo cards (e.g. the Flamecraft race) that's Kickstarter exclusive, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I'd check with the Andromeda's Edge FB group and ask! Thanks for watching btw :)
@@gamingcaravan we can help! First Exotic Matter is a retail version of 6 all in addons (so all in on the campaign has it). If you assemble the game via the 4 retail products (base game, escalation expansion, supernova upgrade kit, exotic matter promos) you will have a DELUXE + Meaning you will have the deluxe edition and 6 of the 13 all in items. So more than the deluxe, but there's a few more things that we'll have on our site at Cardboard Alchemy after fulfillment.
Outstanding! I enjoyed your thoughts. I finally had time to watch. I have been living on the Edge. One of my favorite thematic portions of AE is the diversion of energy into your weapons. Yes it's very similar to using your Swords in Dwellings but the theme can really bring you in. I imagine your ship has just launched to Plant that is rich with Nanocarbon. Raiders are constantly scanning sectors for new activity and find you. What do you do when diplomacy fails? You divert energy into your weapons and charge up your photon blasters. 🚀🚀🚀
I like that thematic translation a lot! It really is a massive shame, because it's far too common I see that fantasy games are good but sci-fi games are GREAT. War of the Ring ? Star Wars Deckbuilder is now better. Dwellings ? Meet Edge. Lords of Waterdeep? Dune Imperium is peak. I could go on, but I'm waiting for a fantastic fantasy game that can really rock my world and be uncontested. Until then, Andromeda's Edge may have my #1 spot. Also, thanks for watching! I appreciate the support 😁
Having bought the deluxe version, if I had my time again I would probably would have bought the standard version, which is still of very high production quality and takes up a lot less space! The only downside is that the solo mode does not come in box with the standard edition.
@gregorys9629 that's good to know! See, the raider minis make it worth it with the player component holders. But tbh i don't care about a solo mode so that's good information to have. It must be easier to store by a lot tbh!
Comparing to IV studios every game is good value. IV studios is the most overpriced FOMO mid games in the history of boardgames. Not a single IV campaign was a good value. Was disappointed with the value of Moonrakers and Veiled Fate and the games were pretty boting unfortunately. Im glad i sold both.
@@MakeYourHeartBeat I'm very surprised with that, moonrakers has been an amazing game in our collection! But I can say it's almost unnecessarily expensive
@@gamingcaravan First of all, we ran out of contracts twice! Not enough cards to finish the game. I asked on IV discord and they replied that they created an expansion to fix this known issue. I wonder how much Moonrakers was playtested before releasing it or if they wanted to release it with this issue to sell the expansion later on. Secondly, the leading person can always be ignored and excluded from pretty much every contract. That happened a lot in our games. The player who did best gets punished by being ignored until others finally caught up. Played Moonrakers with 3 groups who all love boardgames and 2 groups love negotiation (especially in Space) and the feedback wasn't really great. I wanted to like this game, because it sounded great on paper, but i didn't.
Wow you really get us. AWESOME look at the game! Thank you so so much! Let's talk about the Caravan Convoy copy!

I'll keep doing my best 👌 this is surprisingly one of my better ones, I'm working on getting more audio without the crescendos
yep my sphere broke, sadly the glue job to repair looks a bit hard to do
@jwspiker that's rough. They're sending me a copy now, let's see if it survives the trip!

Luke Laurie + Cardboard Alchemy = Instant Back for me
honestly, fair lol

So deluxe ONLY have the upgraded components without the base game right ? Asking this before watch the video .
incorrect, deluxe has everything including expansion and base game.

Yes, you should buy it.
lol if it's appealing to you! I definitely say it's not for everyone still though.
