    Nice video, ezack4. 10 second intro then you get down to the business of setting up the tent. No needless chit chat at the beginning or end. All amateur demo videographers should copy your style. Much appreciated.

    I bought one that exact same tent, it goes up rather quickly, but I noticed you stuffed the tent, the footprint, and the rain fly into the sack, I always folded it, sort of a hassle! I think I'll try stuffing it from now on, it seemed a lot easier.
    One thing I did discover, the rainfly needs to be treated from day one! I didn't do that and it rained on its maiden voyage and it leaked horribly, I was soaked inside the tent. After calling Marmot they told me to use the Nikwax Tent and Gear Care treatment on it after I seal the seams with Gear Aid Seam Grip. Because my tent leaked so bad I was a bit paranoid, so I sealed the seams twice, then put on 4 treatments of the Nikwax which made the fabric feel a bit waxy, and I was in a wind-driven 2-hour downpour about 2 months ago and the tent didn't have any water inside, not even a single drop.
    I would strongly recommend to anyone buy a tent from any maker to seal the seams twice and put on 4 coats of whatever treatment the company who made the tent recommends, there are 3 different fabrics used in tents that need to be treated, you need to know which treatment will work best with which fabric. And then you need to retreat it after every season, or before the start of a season. I don't think I'm going to need to use 4 treatments when I retreat it, I think 1 should do it from now on.

    I've used the tent a few times now in warm weather and in the rain, it is water-tight but can get a little hot at night but with the vent open and the rain fly doors zipped down from the top it cooled off ok. I still love this tent and am very glad I purchased it

      Good Day! ..As I understand, are you have used this tent in the autumn-winter season? Could You recommend this tent, Have you had problems with humidity and water condensation inside the tent?

      +Александр Крутиков I don't like camping in the summer time as it gets hot and humid over here. But on a nice clean night you can take the rain fly off and if should be fine. I have camp in spring and autumn and it is and awesome tent. I have not notice any condensation. Make should you seam seal your tent and rain fly. That helps with condensation.

    So the tungsten is basically the limelight from what I gather. Same design. Just a little more “wall” going up diagonally.
    (Yes i realize this comment is 2-3 years late. What can i say, I’m a marmot junky)lol

    Incorrect. Fold the fly in half, attach the crossbow to each side of the fly, then attach clips on one side and the other. Take down by folding in half so it’s ready for the next time. Much easier to attach the two tension straps on the middle crossbow then it is to do it your way.

    Can you run it with the fly and poles only, like the MSR Elixr? Or is the body required for setup?

    • @ezack4
      @ezack4  7 лет назад +1

      Anthony G you can run it bare bones as far as I know, it comes with a footprint and the inside of the fly has Velcro loops, you just can't use the brow pole
