- A Lakewood police agent who was shot in the line of duty during a deadly shooting spree has been identified by police officials as Agent Ashley Ferris.
Wishes for a speedy recovery and thanks for being the difference that saved lives...

@@cliffontheroad we can blame the news media here in Colorado. They also said 200 people were injured. Now I know there's a good reason I never watch the news because I love my life peace and harmony
I am not a police officer but for those that are, thank you for your service. I wish this officer a speedy recovery and thank God she survived. It’s refreshing to see the media finally report an officer involved shooting the way it happened and not spin the facts to criticize our much needed law enforcement officers.
How in the world is she not getting nationwide recognition for this?

Poetic Justice
Nice little piece. Would like to know how good the firearms training results were for the other members of the department who shot at and MISSED the dead guy. Of course, I was not there to deal with the stress, but we are aware of recent stories of stray bullets missing their mark.

Yet there is a direct causation to the increased number of guns sold and the increased number of shootings happening in America. Weird how stats show that by putting more guns on the street there are more shootings, and the cycle won't break until you get over your metallic security blankets...
