This is so incredibly sad. A 17 year old boy with his future ahead of him, gets shot for eating his lunch at school and is almost punished for it since
We as a world have failed him. I'm in the UK and I'd happily let him stay here if things would allow it. Nobody helped the survivors other than (in my opinion) guilt money and regret but the state didn't try to rehabilitate these people for the better. This is absolutely ridiculous
I remember dad from the news clips, but dont recall seeing him in later videos. The dad was a strange character, he was smiling while the press interviewed him
I think the Jefferson county police should pay for a home for Richard because their lack of investigating multiple complaints about eric years before could have prevented everything that day
no, they investigated, i dont disagree with your thoughts, but they knew what was going on and... but, why is the real question we need to know, why it was botched or allowed to happen is just as important to know why they did what they say they did,
This is messed up. The Klebolds and Harrises have money, and Richard Castaldo is poor. Bill Clinton, the city of Littleton, or the U.S. government needs to help this man out. What a damn shame!
read her book. they got their house in a awful state that was plagued by animal infestations but the klebolds thought it was beautiful so they took it on as a fixer upper. shame on you
here's the gorgeous world we are living in... This guy is a hero and a survivor, he deserves to be protected so he can rest and heal. i know it's pathetic but this guy has one of the most pretty face i've ever seen even if the years the tiredness of life and the pain leave scars, he's so handsome.
@@BlackGirlLovesAnime6 I said hero because I know someone who experienced something similar after a fight, he committed suicide because he couldn't stand the wheelchair. Castaldo who doesn t seem to have so much support is still alive despite all he s been through, it s kind of heroic for me. Same for lance Kirklin, his brother killed himself before columbine, he got shot 5 times, 35 surgeries, went through alcoholism, raised a child as a single parent, I mean WOW. I have been through a lot of hard things like many of us I guess, and life kind of disgusts me most of the time. @@toupetipoi2177 I think we both hold the same admiration for him but I just don’t call everyone a hero. I feel like the words hero and brave are overused nowadays but to each his own. By that definition I could be seen as a hero but I don’t agree

right, that's what ive been posting here. In fact, his dad was seen in newscasts joking and laughing about his son while he was in intensive care, very odd.
I would definitely like to him out but being paralyzed for years is fucked up on every level all because of what poor Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris did that horrific day.
And Rachel wasn't asked anything. Balistics and time doesn't add up. They never got up and personal. Nothing was said between Rachel and E&D. Valeen was asked if she believed in God. Where’s his family? I’m trying to understand how “we” as a society failed him. It’s not his fault he’s in a wheelchair but it’s not anyone else’s fault he’s homeless. Does he get help? Where is his family? Real quick to blame others but people need to acknowledge their own mistakes and put the blame where it belongs.

while his dad smiled and chuckled with the media in archive video clips, funny, we don't hear where dad id today. I wonder why
People remember those who died, but don't help those who were disabled by it.

Thank you for drawing attention to this.
u wont do shit attention seeking troll
It’s crazy that people who survived it are probably trying to forget about and we are trying to never forget. Crazy how things work
Understandable. I can’t imagine how scary it was witnessing this firsthand.

Our Columbine survivors deserve so much better than this.

What an excellent presentation.

where's his dad at? I recall him from the early newscasts, boy was he smiling, yet richie was in intensive care at Swedish memorial hospital.

That's not fair!!. Dylan and Erik's parents should pay him alimony. It's the least they can do to help correct what their crazy children did.
Did his family abandon him ?
A local church would probably be a great place to look for housing or general support.
