- Mokulito is a slightly dark art and it is important to understand what needs to stay wet or dry etc to get it working well. In this film I'm sharing some basic dos and don'ts as well as printing up my second block to line up with the foreground
I have great trouble finding the next video continuity when there are several that follow one another. Is there a trick to it? Could they be numbered for thickos like me, please?
Hello ! Thank you for the video. Could you use the caligo safe wash ink ? Or would that not work because of the water / grease relationship ?
Ma'am I am very interested to learn this technique kindly tell me what you are using to draw over paint.
Carbon paper and roofing bitumen
Could you talk about how you plan the paper size, block size, in regards to planning registration? And how many prints can you make with the mokulito block? Don’t you get buildup of ink?
There’s a film describing that earlier in the playlist 🙂
Laura could you make a video on this project from start to where you are now in video?
Laura’s playlist on the process can be found here ruclips.net/p/PL_FISn0pJWcBTV2sb7OHFE7_NfslMnsXc
Hi Thanks for this - next week I am publishing a film that shows the whole mokulito process from start to finish too
Why do you apply the gum arabic and then wash it off? I see it in a lot of litho videos, but I don't understand it.
I wish I could give you a technical answer, but all I can tell you is that if you don’t, the process doesn’t work 🙂
How many prints do you think you can get from a mokolito block given it is so fine?
I think about 20, but I haven’t pushed it further!
