Thank you a lot, this step 2 is very stressful for beginner, in blender was just fine and fun to sculpt. I really really really hate zbrush because of this, I want to learn cause is neccessary.
I'm working on a 15" laptop display and I'm finding that the Z-Brush interface drops down BELOW the frame of my laptop screen. That being said, I found "SOLO" in the "TRANSFORMATION" drop down, but I can't seem to find "INVISIBILITY" or any of the other applications that exist in the bar on the immediate right side of the canvas. I've looked everywhere (or, maybe not?) for which drop down menu might have the "INVISIBILITY" option. Any suggestions? Thanks.
thank you. i was using zbrush core mini because it's free and i just tried the trial for zbrush. holy shit is it hard to use. core mini felt so much more intuitive and i only need 3 features at the most; clay build up, move tool and smoothing. thats it. zbrush is so convoluted D:
Is there a way to not have inverted scrolling on the zbrush menus? I have my mac set to be scrolling the same as windows but zbrush now counteracts this by scrolling in reverse.
I am in an extremely annoying problem that should be super easy to fix. I have dragged a tool into my canvas and removed it, but control z does not work on UI so I have no idea how to revert this action. Please help me.
Hello. Super helpful video, but I have a problem. Official Pixologic video called “How do I get the ZBrush UI to display correctly on a High Resolution Display?” describe my problem, however I don't have advance display setting. Do you perhaps know how to fix this?
Thanks for the video. Just got a Wacom tablet with Pro Pen 2. Watching the end of your video I'm curious about how you hold the pen (button to the side, not top). Do you press the buttons with your thumb? What do you have your buttons set to? I assume one is right-click but I can't tell from the video if it's the front or back button. Any advice on how to setup and hold the pen? btw ... Alt-Click to find the main menu that contains a button ... awesome tip!
Yeah, I use my thumb and the button is set to right click. I used to use the front button of my pen but then it broke mid live stream once. Now I only use the back one.
I bought your Ui but it seems some elements are missing like the buttons are bigger or something for example right down corner dynamesh and zremesher are barely visible Please help
This has to do with the resolution of your display being smaller than mine. You can ctrl + click and drag the bottom area to the left and right to see more of it. Email at Follygon@gmail.com if you have more questions.
don't know about tha mac part, but yes you can pass your custom UI to another computer. Also verify everything is in order before saving the UI because zbrush sometimes erase your custom menus.
@@Follygon well I already did that. But only the working area (sculpting area) seemed to have been affected. But the rest seems to be a bit off somehow.
Some people aren't wired for the ability to categorize and prioritize information. It's my belief that the person in charge of the UI at pixologic is one of them. Good grief. I guarantee you their work space is a disaster, and yet somehow they function just fine.

Pixologic should pay you.
i think z brush needs a decent camera system that's simple like blender
yes! I am so used to blender it was very frustrating to deal with this camera😅
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!

I have a problem with saving .zpr When open .zpr from lightbox always change document size to low, any help ?
Great video! I have a question though, how can I add a simple sphere without any rotation?
I think it’s neat
the new update tip press X to get rid of symmetry on the brush

@@Follygon thank you I’ll try this later see if I can fix the issues in any case I’ll email you 👌🏾
Oh, also, could I take that "SaveUI" file, copy it, and transfer the UI to a different computer. Like say from a PC to a Mac?

you hero
In my version it doesn't show save as startup material why. But thanks a lot for everything else.
Not on the newest version of Z
I had another doubt😅😅. The thing is in my zbrush the interface looks bigger and. Theres not much space. Don't understand why.
Document > toggle w size and click new document.
