Rode a Ducati Scrambler for the first time yesterday around the Algarve hills, Portugal. What a bike!!! Now l understand the fuss...although, truth be told, I do love my Fantic.
Ducati, smaller cc, likely my favorite retro looking bike, along with RnineT. Just started watching video but will changing your own oil still be the same pita as The Desert Sled?
Don't know if that's the cost (yet) but I agree. My '17 Full Throttle will be due for that soon. My engine rarely gets above 5 thou RPM and never gets above 8 thou so a desmo valve train on a Scrambler is just dumb! The desmo "Ducati tax" is probably ok on a Panigale but let's get real here!
@@RodeoRides Belts at 15,000. I had my valves checked at 7,500 and the mechanic said there was no point in the interval being that short, after I paid. I'm going to do the next one myself.
Thanks for this clear comparison. Did I understand that the ICON base model comes also with the updated LCD screen and can be upgraded with a quick-shift?
So wait.... am I getting this right? In the scrambler sub brand, ducati updated all the cafe bikes and discontinued the only real scrambler they made, the desert sled? Bold move cotton, let's see if that pays off for them. Guess I'm either going used or ponying up for a triumph scrambler 1200 xe
I love the look of the scrambler but I've never had a chance to learn how to ride so I hope they come back out with a sixty2. I would love to have it as a beginner bike
If it’s worth anything, I just got a desert sled as my first bike and I’ve been loving the 800, I’m pretty comfortable on 2 wheels from bmx and mountain biking but this is my first motorcycle and I’ve been loving it
I have my first bike. A used Sixty2 coming in the mail next week. Such a shame they don't sell it anymore. Especially in regions we you cant get the 800 on your learners.
I love the looks and for a dude who is not into sport bikes or cruisers (other than the Rebel) and like ADV, but won't use them for their intended purpose I feel scramblers are my taste. Sadly, for my budget and experience I can't get one yet. I wish there were a cheaper scrambler (husqvarna svartpilen, but nowhere to be found) I hope Honda brings the CL500 scrambler to the states.
Love them, but because I am unfamiliar with them and you ran through it pretty fast 💨 I can’t properly grasp the differences. Please do a full review when possible.
Ducati E-Bike powered by Thok today reach the highest performance on every route and testify to the goal of offering unique and meaningful experiences. A journey that began in 2019 and which in 2022 will further enrich the range of models available. The MIG-S, the All Mountain that adopts the new Shimano EP8 engine and renewed components, making it even more performing, versatile and fun on every trail. The TK-01RR, the "top of the range" E-Enduro with top-level components for an even more extreme enduro. This is accompanied by the new limited edition version, designed to enhance the performance of all downhill enthusiasts. And finally, the Futa, the big news of 2022, or the first E-Road bike according to Ducati. Characterized by technical solutions and high quality components that fully embody the Ducati style. Also available in limited edition.
The process for changing any panels will be to "bring to an authorized Ducati Dealer for service". Man, this new style of scramblers looks like hot garbage, especially the display. Theyre going the new generic blob-look that cars are doing.
A Nightshift with the Full Throttle wheels would be pretty much perfect to me.
I bought a new 2022 Icon last summer. I absolutely love my bike, it’s just flat out fun.
Do you guys know if they'll make a new Desert Sled, or if the same model is staying in the range? Thanks!

So are all 2023 models updated or just these three trims?
Still the old Desmo engine with a 7500 mile valve check service interval. Dealers charge $900-1k for that service.
Ouch. That adds a grand a year to owning one. No thanks.
Thanks for the comment. Completely changed my mind lol. I think I’ll go for a Triumph t100 or t120

Nice bike, but that’s a hard pass and I’m pretty sure those timing belts also get replaced at 7500

Looks great .....if your 5ft 5
Thanks Kase. Not my preferred brand or style per say, but good looking bikes.
Looks great but I want that icon dark price haha
Its been out for years but I still cant warm to it....I just wish theyd make a cheaper Monster instead.....
Almost perfect, perhaps spoke rim is better 4 scrambler
Dam did prices go up. When I look at them 3 years ago they were about 8 grand
They look fantastic but no Desert Sled?
I like the black and red one and the new tech. Does it have cruise control? Doubtful but for the price it should. Price is tad high though.

Ducati, please bring the new scramblers to Brazil!!!!!

I think marketing and engineering came together on this. This is more what I was looking for than the Sled - I think.

Just for your info, there is now a cheaper scrambler. The Royal Enfield Scram
I love the Triumph but I have to say that I like the Ducati more than the Triumph it is more fun to drive it is my favorite
Awaiting review 🙄👀
Good looking bike esp. the full throttle but have no idea how they justify the ridiculous price they're asking for them.
Still 12,000 km valve check. Huge turndown specially when this service will set you 2-3K CAD
Ducati should had gave this the 937cc engine.
This scrambler is sponsored by power rangers
E Bike Model Range?
🙏🙏🙏LOOKING FORWARD TO A POV DRIVE/TRIP/RACE VIDEO LOL 😂 I LOVE THE POV RIDE VIDEOS ON THIS CHANNEL👏👏👏✌️
Do you know that using all caps is considered shouting?
Don't like the way the exhaust or header is run.
questionable styling changes, imho... and 11k as a starting price?! Nope, thank you. Not worth it, even with ducati badge on it.
Good job Kasey 👏👏👏.... Have a beautiful day Everyone ✌️

Tunjukke aku apik yo tak bales kenyataan apik.
They should have used the number 63 instead of 62… that was just a dumb decision! (Only Ducati fan will understand)
I like the nightshift (straight handle bar with bar end mirror), but don't they have any other color that screams Ducati, besides the ugly blue
The scrambler series just get worse and worse. I have the 2017 model cafe racer and it’s the best by far
Ducati stylists: “Hey, let’s put a big black X over the headlight. It’ll look totally great!”……….NOT!
i like it, but i think they should have it as a cover for those who don’t want it, like other companies do
It probably houses the LED diode chips. So why not.
I’m surprised it passes federal regulations bc in the video it appears to block light

Ducati needs to tell Honda how to build scramblers instead of that abortion they made out of the rebel and call it a scrambler

What's with the headlight? So ugly.
Aku rabutuh tahun garep opo miliki kotor iki ki aku rak butuh.
