It’s brilliant. Love it so much.
Absolutely Wonderful. I envy those who conduct choirs who can handle this - you really leaned into the absurdity! I think it's hilarious. Thank you for your gifts to the choral world, you're an inspiration to composers, conductors, and singers!
Once again he produced a masterpiece
I and a few of my dearest VirtualChoirFriends were at the Christmas Concert at DH when this wild piece Premiered !!! THAT NEW ERIC WHITACRE DROPPED!!!!
Whaaaaaat this is insane.
I hear this and I see a Tim Burton's film....Very interesting piece, thank you! Bravo!
Honestly I get ‘Only A Lad’ vibes from this piece, so I’m inclined to agree with you lol
I LOVE how your music always stands out in distinction from all of the other choral music - you always manage to move the genre forward without losing track of the historical context... BRAVO!!!
My choir (Oran, part of the Kokopelli Choir Association, based in Edmonton, Alberta) just performed this EPIC masterpiece this past weekend in 2 concerts! I thoroughly enjoyed it!! (I sing Baritone).
Omgg how incredible is this!!!!
Absolutely amazing as always!
This is so different from anything I've heard from you, and it's awesome! I want to see dancers do something with this, or hear Meshugga do a cover 😃
Edit: make that Primus. No, Tool!
The possibilities are endless. I just love the rhythmic variety!
I see something Orff, musicals, Tim Burton and more... wow
NOT YOUR TYPICAL STYLE ERIC BUT MERRY XMAS!
