    I now have the Kore Essentials, EDC Belt Co Foundation, and the Tenicor Zero. The Tenicor Zero is far more comfortable than the Kore. It's a night and day difference. The Foundation belt is close, but the velcro is kinda inconvenient. If you don't want to spend the money on the Tenicor, the Foundation is a good option if you don't mind velcro. Personally, I think $80 is worth paying for something if you're going to wear it everyday.

      Tenicor looks a bit thinner, is it the same width as Kore?
      My main issue isn't comfort, it's with my gun trying to flip itself bottom up from inside out when I sit.

    • @slicknicktx
      @slicknicktx 5 месяцев назад

      @@Shadow__133 I just got mine today after using the kore belt the last2 years, the zero belt conceals better, engages claws on holsters better, keeps the gun from flipping out better, all while being more flexible, comfortable, and with a buckle that isn't nearly as bulky. The only thing the kore has over this belt is it's easier to micro adjust on the fly

    Just added this as a review on Tenicor's site. After looking at lots of options, I decided that this belt would be the best for me to try. At $80, it’s not cheap, but after wearing it for a month or so, I can say I can’t imagine a better belt. It’s sturdy, yet thin enough to easily slide through belt loops and to clip the double DCC clips of my holster. The best thing of all though, is the micro-adjustability of the buckle system. I definitely didn’t want a big buckle sticking out the front. This belt has a super low profile. And, I did not want a belt with Velcro or something coming back over the top of the belt loops on the on-side. With this one slid underneath on the off-side, it’s great and it stays in place between belt and pants. Sizing based on pants size is perfect-plenty of room to take up the bulk of the IWB holster. I wear it as my everyday belt, even when not carrying. As an added benefit, as a guitar player, I appreciate that I can easily shift it to the side to avoid scratching the back of the guitar. In all, if I lost this one tomorrow, I’d immediately order another one.

      @johnm8693 Месяц назад

      I have an extra magazine holder I place front and left. Doesn't the doubled upped side of the Tenicor get in the way of clipping a supplemental magazine holder to it? Or do you just clip over the two layers of belt on that side?

    I love this belt. Had several others but this works best. I am a small woman. This belt is not bulky or heavy. No obtrusive buckles to add lumps under my clothes. I carry IWB, my EDC is well supported. Comfortable all day long.

      This belt is more comfortable than my regular Dickies belt I wear without a gun. It's a hundred times more comfortable than the Kore Essentials belt. It's $20 more than that belt. I'll pay $20 for that much more comfort all day, every day

    I have been wearing the Blue Alpha low profile edc belt which is minimalistic also. It uses double layered nylon webbing 1.5” wide. It’s not to stiff and has a minimalist nylon buckle but uses velcro to attach the excess overlapping on top around the belt. It is also only around $40. Other than that I still wear the Ares Aegis belt but place the thick aluminum cinch buckle to my 9 0’clock position so my appendix rig in front doesn’t interfere and add to printing the buckle. The Tenicor is over priced @ $79.

    I can’t believe they want $80 for this belt. Should be $40 tops. It’s literally a $5 nylon strap, a cheap a** buckle & a strip of Velcro i bet it costs $20 & 5 mins to make. The Kore has way more going on to make it & costs less. These mf’s must be making a killing if people are dumb enough to pay that much for a glorified bag strap.

    I used a Trayvax Cinch every single day for about 4 years until I switched to Nexbelt. Granted I'm not as active in training as you may be, but for pure minimalist the Cinch has been excellent. Nexbelt is also good so far, but I do worry about the internals failing at some point.

    I’ve been using this belt for over a year. Light, 100% reliable buckle. It never moves unless I intend to move it. It is the perfect mix of rigidity and flexibility and it adjusts in tightness around the waist with incredible ease. If you just powered down a burrito and you feel a bit of gas and need a little room seated in your car or in a restaurant you can easily reach down with one hand and discretely slip some room into the system. Tightening it up ie equally easy.. This design is very hard to beat. I carry a full size 5 inch 1911 Steel Les Baer SRP as well as G-19 with a Surefire light and a S&W Shield all 3 in Tenicor appendix holsters and the level of comfort is quite remarkable. The balance between Weapon retention and ease of re-holstering is the best i have seen. I am a Tenicor fanboy😂😂. The only negative I can say about these holsters is they do wear the finish off your guns.

    511 nylon belt I’ve worn almost daily with rare exception for 10 years. It is stiff but not uncomfortably so. It has held up extremely well and I haven’t noticed any fraying. I carry a 1911 Commander in an OWB horsehide holster, a single mag pouch and a 4” folder in a custom leather sheath and that’s it. Flashlight in a pocket when appropriate, medical in all vehicles and AFAK in a range bag.
    I almost bought the Zero belt at the Wilderness Tactical booth at NRA conference last weekend. Had I seen this video before hand I would have. That's the question I have been looking for an answer to. I used the next belt and I've used to kore essentials belts. The adjustments on these are excellent and this belt looks better in terms of minimalism and reducing bulk and most importantly, being able to have the buckle in the center with an appendix side car rig which is basically undoable even with the narrow nextbelt buckle. It just sticks out so far that I've been wearing the next belt buckle at about 10 o clock and now my belt is ruined because it causes the tail to stick out and it gets bent when I sit down in a chair or my car seat. I want this belt but I wonder how easy it will be to adjust it with my rig on which is a big deal breaker potentially.
