    Really helpful, thanks. For the last 2 years I've used a Blue Alpha Minimalist that I've used so much the velcro is wearing out and it barely stays in place anymore. I'm thinking of going with the Tenicor this time to avoid that problem in the future.

    Great review! I have the Blue Alpha inner belt and its just ok. I agree about getting a belt that has micro adjustments and is not super stiff but not floppy.

    I’m a die hard Kore essentials belt, but today I just received my Tenicor zero belt without the Velcro, and I have to admit it’s amazing. Now of course I need some weeks with it but I don’t think I will any negatives, been wearing it for several hours now with a Tenicor SL2 holster, and the belt just wraps around the holster fantastic.

      @@defiant415 wearing it now haha. All kidding aside it’s really good and I also tried it with the Arrowhead tactical shorts (I do have the proprietary belt for them) but the Tenicor belt works well, but if you get the shorts purchase the belt though. I know it’s a lot of money for the belt it took me a while to get it because I wasn’t sure if it was worth it, but I’m glad I did. Tenicor has good customer service, they take returns I had to return a holster for a refund because I ended up buying a different firearm had no problem but make sure you can return the belt.

    I bought a zero belt and found it very comfortable and perfectly adequate for AIWB carry with my SS MR920L but was way too flexible for carrying an all steel 1911 IWB. Fortunately tenicor has great customer service and swapped out the standard zero for the HD dual layer belt. It is plenty stiff enough and still comfortable. The tacbeltz is also a good comprise between stiffness and comfort. But i can't imagine the velco closure will be very durable.
    Nice review.

    Really like your reviews, you go through everything well and ez to understand. Ive used the nextbelt ratchet, it has worked great and is very handy with adjusting fast, getting in my car and getting out. I like to loosen my belt when i sit down and then tighten it back up again. but im going to give the tenicor a shot and see if i like it.

      Thank you and thanks for sharing your experience with Nextbelts. I think you’ll love the Zero belt, it’s super comfortable and the low-profile buckle works great up front while carrying appendix. I’ve had mine for 15 months and it’s still like new.

    • @aaronsewell5675
      @aaronsewell5675 Год назад +1

      How stiff would you say the Nexbelt is, or what gun/holster did you run? I've been running the Kore (too bulky/uncomfortable) and fell in love with the ratchet system, so I'm in between the Tenicor Zero and the Nexbelt right now. (The Ciguera Emissary definitely looks the best though, but sadly isn't micro-adjustable...)

    • @westloves
      @westloves Год назад +1

      @@aaronsewell5675 the Nexbelt is on the stiffer side for sure. But I wear it everyday and have no problem with it. I carry g45 appendix with the tenicore holster and its very comfortable. I do plan to get the zero belt and give it a try.

      @The Detective @Jason Miles @Tommygun I've been carrying the last few years with the Kore gun belt as well, and it is THICK and BULKY, and just kind of ok in comfort. Definitely as sturdy as you'll ever need though. The belt itself is thick, especially when you have excess and it doubles in size, and the buckle is very thick and wide (looks like they make shorter buckles though). The buckle can be pretty uncomfortable if you wear the buckle to the side on your hip, which you kind of have to, because it's really too thick to wear in front with a sidecar-style holster.

    • @thedetective8150

      I found the zero belt was too flexible for strong side iwb carry with an all steel 1911 but fine for aiwb carry. Tenicor swapped it out for the heavy 2 layer belt and it's much better now

    • @wjbailey7210
      @wjbailey7210 7 месяцев назад

      @toledoupsguy6064 I'm left-handed so strong side has the extra tail of the belt to provide a second layer of material for rigidity. Maybe reverse the belt so the tail is on your right will work for you. The buckle is so small it doesn't necessarily have to remain centered. Just a thought... hope it helps.
