Loved, loved, loved recording this. I was 17 when we won the cup in 96 (yeah, I know, really!) and I genuinely did think Villa won trophies every two years. Now, here I am, a knackered old man, looking back 25 years! If you're gonna reminisce though, who better to reminisce with than Brian Little, Ian Taylor and John Gregory?! Hope you enjoy this, folks!
Another great episode Mat, both yourself and Rolo and whoever else might have been involved done a brilliant job putting this all together, you deserve a round of 👏🏾 for your efforts! 👍🏾 UTV!
The greatest day I’ll never forget it Especially the first goal Townsend slipping over but the ball finding savo then the sound of milosevic’s boot hitting the ball with that left foot and 1 second later “ oh a terrific goal!!!” Still one of top 5 goals of my life as a fan and that whole performance was legendary. UTV
Brilliant work boys, could have been 4 times longer, love Tayls and John Gregory of course, but Brian Little will always walk on water, what a player, what a man.
I was 8 when I started supporting villa, 10 in 94 and 12 when we won in 96, I thought we'd carry on winning a cup every other year after those two 🙈🤣. Great interviews and video, UTV
I remember the Leeds fans walking into wembley way on the top route, we were on the bottom route, and they were being all cocky hanging over the sides singing "Savo,Savo miss alot(repeat)". Oh the regret they must have, anyone else remember that?? lol "Brian littles claret & blue army" UTV
Brilliant video remember the day as if it was yesterday going to Wembley feeling very confident about winning 94 was a bit different being the underdogs
My grandad played a small part in bring Little to the villa . Crazy thing is it was actually Brian's brother that the club was interested in. His mom was adamant they came as a pair
Great video Matt. Took me a while to get around to watching it, but it was worth the wait. Great work. If you get chance I've got some decent Villa content on my channel, including a video of Tayls talking about signing for the Villa and the victory over Leeds.

Mat I never thought I'd be almost 50 and still waiting for our next trophy. Travesty for a club like villa.
I met Brian shortly after this win. He did a boom signing and he was such a lovely funny warm guy to me and my mum
Savo, one of my favorite Villa players ever.
Loving that top Ian legend Taylor is wearing, claret with a touch of chic Villa military about it! Class! 🙏👍🤣🤣🤣😎
Love this. Memories flooding back.

Loved watching this. Was at Wembley in 94 but couldn’t go in 96. I remember watching it whilst at Uni. Great team and great to see Brian.
This was lovely.
I do think it's going to be awhile still until we get another trophy but I'm more than happy to be quickly proven wrong.
I hate being the age when nearly all of my happiest Villa memories can also be qualified as nostalgic. 25 years ago, blimey...

Taylor a Genuine Villa Hero in my opinion one of the First Memories of Us winning anything for me

Love it again Matt, these nostalgic, brilliant trips down memory lane are a firm favourite of mine, on the best of all the great Villa channels. 👏👌👍🍻
Pictures of Ugo stopped me in my tracks, instant lump in my throat. On the other hand, you can't help but grin at the sight of Tommy Johnson.
Great memories, and I think that's the last time I saw Villa win a cup final, having not seen them lose one before that.
I loved this team as a kid. Alan Wright in my opinion the best left back we ever had.
I was there!!! 94 too. I'm 38 in 2 days lol where did that time go boys. UTV ✌🏻❤
Your best video to date... and it has a lot to beat. Loved it. Big smile on my face throughout reliving my memories. Thanks.
