Remove the turmeric stain with a solution of two parts hot water and one part bleach or vinegar. Let the dishes soak in the solution overnight. The stain should be gone by morning. This tip also works for plastic, glass, ceramic plates, blenders, and food processor bowls. Love your channel, Ryan. I look forward to your videos.
I'm passing for a tough break and your videos have been helping me alot. I think i have watched every single one in the past 2 weeks. I cant express how happy i'm to get a fresh one to watch today. By far the best vanlife content in yb.
I love your city stealth camping videos the most, I think it's a perfect balance between 'what cool things can we get up to' and 'this is the reality of vanlife' and I can't wait for the build series!
Hey brother I am from Auckland New Zealand and I have thoroughly enjoyed your journey.........cant afford to go to Alaska/Canada but you made me feel as if I was there with you on your journey.....so, thank you
Ryan, as a 35 year parts veteran, I highly recommend you make sure parts are readily available for your new build. I'm talking about basic maintenance parts, as well as potential troublesome parts like belts, water pump brakes etc. If you're out in the middle of nowhere and you have a breakdown, you're gonna be screwed. Go online to the big chain parts stores and look up some of that stuff, see if it's available or how long it will take to get. Dodge parts are plentiful and everywhere, Daihatsu parts are not.
I'm with you on that. I hate to be a Debbie downer, but also that is not a build I would put the money and effort into, particularly since it sounds like such an incapable vehicle. Even for a weekend warrior, it would suck to have a camper van that couldn't make it to the camping spot. Not my dream or project though, so we'll see how it turns out!
I always enjoy your videos. I think they are by far the most realistic ones on YT about how to mantain van life long term without breaking the bank, with its challenges and perks, and having a good mix of city and natural settings. Also, for those of us who like at least the main meals cooked inside the van. On that note, I've always wondered, how do you keep the smell off your clothes and furniture?
I had a smile on my face the entire video. Thanks for sharing with us, Ryan. The vintage/gift store was fun and the shirt you bought looks like it was made for you.
ALOHA!! I’m excited too for you…. I LOVE THOSE Hi -jet mini. Some people here on Maui own hi-jets.. Can’t wait to watch your next project.. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽😊
It’s mind blowing to see so much excitement on the truck camper build. Something not really street worthy even in stock form seems like a side show act. Love the out of the box thinking but for a traveling person that seems very unreasonable on top of going to stick out like a sore thumb trying to blend in street camping.
I was literally in that area in Sunset Cliffs on my lunch a couple weeks ago right before that storm hit lol planning out my van conversion as we speak
Glad To See You Back In San Diego Where I Call Home Now. Yes, We Did Have Some Crazy Weather For A Few Days. Rain In August Is Not Normal. Love Your Channel. Thanks So Much!!
I would love to see your plans for your current van. I've got to pay the credit cards off and then I'm buying an all wheel drive Chevy van to do something similar. I know they're lower in height, but how much time do you actually stand up in yours? I'm old so I'll be sitting or lying down most of the time anyways. After watching you struggle through muddy areas, I decided on the Chevy. They aren't made after 2014 so I'll have to look really hard to find one in good condition, but I'm a GM guy and I know their quirks. I owned one Ford. The passenger's door to fall off after one year. Traded it in a Pontiac (1980s) that night. Lived it. Never Ford again. Your RAM is a rebadged Fiat so that's out and the Merc seems like a nightmare. Anyways, I'd love to see your plans! Watching you build out the mini will be really cool to watch! I love building stuff, working with my hands. Whrn you're finished, you should maybe think about starting a business, Ryan! Seriously. You have the experience and a damn good head on your shoulders.
❤ Thanks for sharing a day in San Diego with us. That shrimp dish really looked delicious, gotta try it at some time 😋. Sounds exiting with your new project. It's gonna be fun and exiting to watch you build it 😃. Have a great day Ryan and goodnight from Denmark 🤗❤😴. Oh, nice shirt by the way 👍❤
Very excited to watch your new build. I've watched Foresty Forest's build and that was awesome, no doubt yours will be even better aesthetically. Love your style!
When RyanTwomey uploads, you already know its gonna be a good day. As someone who is 17 and has no idea what I want to do in life, I find these so inspiring. I am very independent and alone for most of the time and I find it more enjoyable as I get sort of bored of people quickly, and as I recently started traveling around the states a bit, I find it a very decent option for me maybe starting off to figure out what want to do before I settle. Because lets be real, it sounds fun being on the move daily, but I totally want to eventually settle to and figure my life out at some point. ESPECAILLY watching you for many months, I learned so much and at first I thought this was crazy and "why would anyone ever do that?!" but I realized its very compact and sort of just.. In my eyes, better? I am yet to try it out of course, but I think with people like you documenting your life, i can get a better idea if this is something I am interested in. Seriously, thanks for posting and making these videos. I sometimes like to imagine I am there alongside you sort of experiencing this to really put me into that "vibe" and also just to mentally put myself in this lifestyle. I think it is something I need to at least try for a few years and travel around a bit.
Your videos are very relaxing bro! been having a really hard time sleeping and watching your content and listening to your stories about the new places you visit has been helping me tremendously.
This is my Dream Life except I’d be Electric Skateboarding where ever I go. I do weekend Skateboarding trips in my 86 Sports Car & in a couple of Years I’ll get a Van like this & build it myself. I really like the Drawer Shower!
I’m excited to see the truck camper build start! I can’t imagine how you’re going to fit it all and still stay under the small truck’s payload but I’m sure you’re up for the challenge!
Heed warning on the hurricane Ryan, weird this year going up the coast of California. We all want for you to be as safe as you can be on your journey. Happy Birthday ( early) young man, in case I forget. I’m that old. Lol. Enjoy your time with family.
Lets go new video of ryan always brighten up my day god bless always supporting you always brighten up my day banger video love it ❤️🙏 sending positive vibes have blessed thursday keeo these videos coming man we have to take time to appreciate the efforttime and dedication ryan puts in his videos for our entertainment ❤️🔥
Yh it's weird how turmeric stains stuff bright neon yellow haha, I've cooked curries in a pan and the white handle on my pan has spots of bright neon yellow..which I think is turmeric.😊
You should really rebuild the shower if there is a drainage issue any excess can cause moss in the vehicle and seeing how much is made of wood that would stink. And a shower that can be used much more carefree, just feels nicer in case your camping in the wilderness.
brother- the only way your getting that turmeric stain out isn with bleach- steady indian household practice. piece of advice- use a steel bowl when your using tumeric and oil as part of any marinade- its a super time saving process.
Lots of planes for sure because of the Naval Air Station there. I was actually stationed there more years ago than I care to admit and my oldest son was born at Balboa Naval Hospital. I really loved San Diego, not least of all for the weather. Big city crowds do get old after awhile though. Also, for your plate: Bleach.
Before you buy an underpowered vehicle for a project test drive one. I had a vw rabbit truck for a while... might have had more torque then the one you are thinking of... when I loaded a few logs in the bed it would become almost unusable. Even without it people would get pretty upset with me going up hills. It was rather dangerous. Great on diesel though
those kei trucks are so cool, but i hear they are not easy to drive. it will be interesting to see a build series and how you try to keep it light weight.
The shower pan in the floor is the way I'd also go. I see so many vanlifers making dedicated shower / toilet rooms and it just makes no sense to me because of the space it takes up. I'd rather do what you did for the shower and put the toilet on a sliding shelf under that bench, or the bed. Basically, put it in a cabinet. (You can even do it with the Natures Head composting toilets that you have to vent.) Speaking of venting the toilet, I'd even vent the cabinet a chemical toilet is in because they also stink. But, of course the issue with venting is that you're just pumping the smell outside the van and grossing people out around you. It probably can be a major issue if you're stealth camping like this.
It will be a cool project but not very practical. It's going to be so underpowered and I'm guessing tippy with the narrow trackwidth. I don't think he understands how small they really are. Essentially a glorified golfcart.@@MarioMarquezPapaMarquez
I have an ACTY and they are very tiny inside and no airbags, just a thought. Probably severely under powered for your application also. Still excited to see your plans.
Once you get your new camper truck build done, you should do a giveaway of your old van on your channel. I wonder if your could find a sponsor to chip in on the project. I could see you gaining a lot of subscribers doing a giveaway like that if its required to win the giveaway. Or have your merch store per 5$ spent is one entry into the giveaway.
Next time you go to OB (Ocean Beach) Check out Hodads! They have great burgers! Also, buy a wood spoon or rubber coated tongs, stop using metal and scratching your no stick pans!!
Hello Ryan do you have a video showing how you made the inside of your van and why did you choose a ram are they a better make of vehicle? I just wanted to know a cost for installation of things you put in your van
Hi Ryan, I like watching your video I can travel with you and discover your country as I live in France. Your dinner seems to be very good, I like shrimps with rice, enjoy it... Hope to discover another video from you soon. Take care.

Does it works on soap stains ... i got some brown soap and it left stains on in my shower tiles ...
Came to say the same. Soak in vinegar/water solution.
Do not use bleach with hot water only cold.
Just curious, why not just pure vinegar?
And if still stained scrub with a mr. clean sponge as well. You can also try barkeepers friend powder or liquid too.
I wish everyone the best of what this world has to offer!
Thank you, I'm sad tomorrow is gonna be September 😢
A lovely gesture. Same to you god bless you. ❤
@@Tyrant-Terminatorwake you up when September ends?
Right back at ya man!
thanks man
This was an especially enjoyable episode. This is pretty much exactly what I would like to do tomorrow.

Right along with “Foresty Forest” channel!
Hope your tough break clears up soon. :)

I was just in Ocean Beach lol. Such a cool spot, and yes an insane amount of vanlifers

The lofi music at the beginning and end of the vidz always tie the episode together so nostalgically

Mr Eraser is my go to clean all! If the vinegar water doesn’t work, give it a try. You can use it to clean a variety of things! Love your videos! ❤

Haha looking very forward to the mini truck camper build soon
Really enjoy cooking too. Have tried many of your recipes and your cooking skills are fantastic! 👍👏. Looking forward to your new truck build 👍🥂

That Hijet plan IS ambitious!!!! Also - Baking soda and water removes turmeric.
Try sprinkling the plate with baking soda and pour a little vinegar on it. Let it sit 30 minutes or so. Should work.
When you spilled your drink on the little table and made a mess did you clean it or did you just leave it?
Kei trucks are awesome they even have a kei van that’s a camper already pretty cool
If you put a small wet rag under your cutting board, it will not move around as much
He don’t care he’s a sloppy cook
You are 25 years old??? I thought you are between 30 and 40! I love watch your vlogs for a long time!
Happy birthday 🥳🎂🎊 Rayn 🇰🇼
Yh it's weird how turmeric stains stuff bright neon yellow haha, I've cooked curries in a pan and the white handle on my pan has spots of bright neon yellow..which I think is turmeric.😊
San Diego looks rly nice! Keep up the good work!
You were in my hometown. Haven't been down to OB in a min, though - great little community.
I really like the shower you built, I think I’d build one just like it! It saves alot of space❤
Dude i'm hyped about the mini truck build!!
Love cooking and trying new meals
Yes!!! I wish we could’ve seen the process to this van 💖
You should really rebuild the shower if there is a drainage issue any excess can cause moss in the vehicle and seeing how much is made of wood that would stink. And a shower that can be used much more carefree, just feels nicer in case your camping in the wilderness.
I've got to say Ryan's thumbnails are the best.
I love all the things you cook....look delish and super simple!!
Watching from Nigeria and I love your content man this is my dream ❤
Living in Nigeria is a dream 🇳🇬😎
Aww I see you were in Ocean Beach. My old stomping grounds.
Glad to know this and your previous videos are pre-Hilary, of course, the big question now is how did you make it through Hilary? Take care!
You did my onion cutting method!!! That’s awsome😊
Just went through the last minute insurance checkups myself. Such a strange time lol 😂.
I can’t wait for the new build!,❤
Always encouraged to watch your videos Ryan. Your positivity always brightens my day. God bless your efforts as you pursue your life goals. 🙏❤️
OMG! You'll have to sign up for the affordable care act which is like a 5 min call!
Take the yellow stained plate down to the beach use a falt stone and the sea sand and the sea . job done

Can't wait for the mini truck build out!
Dang Ryan sure love your videos!!
Idk how new it is but congrats on the sponsorships
I was waiting for that series!!!!
Happy Birthday @ryan!
Clorox cleanup will take the stain off. I use it on my cutting boards. Just spray, wait till it turns white again and wash.
those kei trucks are so cool, but i hear they are not easy to drive. it will be interesting to see a build series and how you try to keep it light weight.
My hometown!! Another great meal!! Ty Ryan!!! ❤❤❤❤
This is one of my favourite videos of yours Ryan.

I love San Diego! Have you tried stealth camping at Sunset Cliff?
i loved this video, well done. looking forward to the new little truck project! Try Mr Clean Magic eraser on that plate
As always great video. Looking forward to your new build. Will be with you all the way
The Kei truck build is going to be interesting. Just for future reference it's pronounced as "kay" not "key".
I was about to comment the same thing. Great idea to build it but his mispronounciation is starting to bother me lol
It will be a cool project but not very practical. It's going to be so underpowered and I'm guessing tippy with the narrow trackwidth. I don't think he understands how small they really are. Essentially a glorified golfcart.@@MarioMarquezPapaMarquez
Excited for the build series!!
I have an ACTY and they are very tiny inside and no airbags, just a thought. Probably severely under powered for your application also. Still excited to see your plans.
Try spraying a little bleach cleaner on the plate. Leave it there for a few minutes and it should remove the stain.
Your videos are inspiring. Thank you Ryan
mix baking soda and vinegar and put it on the plate let sit then scrub and rinse should take it out.
>stealth camping tips
>proceeds to spot every single "stealth" van

God damn I love a van build!
That is just one of the perks of plastic!...they like to collect stains+😂😊
Next time you go to OB (Ocean Beach) Check out Hodads! They have great burgers!
Also, buy a wood spoon or rubber coated tongs, stop using metal and scratching your no stick pans!!
I guess you've made the big time Ryan. The trolls and assholes are out in force.
Put turmeric stained items in direct sunlight for a couple hours!
you know its a good day when ryan postest
Hello Ryan do you have a video showing how you made the inside of your van and why did you choose a ram are they a better make of vehicle?
I just wanted to know a cost for installation of things you put in your van
Health insurance tip: get it from the marketplace. There’s open enrollment nov 15 - dec 15
Looking forward to the build
