1997 s420 v-8 . I changed spark plugs and coils, Then drove about one mile to check . It was now much better ,almost like normal car should be. But I checked for water in fuel by disconnecting the fuel pipe at the exit return pipe next to pressure regulator.taking some fuel and then reconnecting the pipe. There is no water in the fuel. It has spark.it has 45 ps fuel i pressure and holds pressure. 55 psi when cranking. Cyl 1 has 30 psi and cyl 3 has 50 psi and cyl 4 has 120 psi. BUT that's how it has been and it ran and drove for past 3 months. So why crank and no start?
A good rule of thumb is that a mechanical sound engine should have 130 psi or more compression in each cylinder. Compression is the pressure built up inside each cylinder of the engine, and low compression leads to incomplete combustion and misfires. Symptoms of low engine compression include an illuminated check engine light, the engine running rough or misfiring, and the engine failing to start.

You're car s420 is Low compression problems
Yes, BUT it's been running like that.
But, after disconecting and reconnecting just fuel pipe ,
It won't start?
Pour gas or starter fluid , and no attempt for it to try start?
Mashaalah sir
i replaced pump same issue
Check fuel pump pressure If the fuel pump compressor is not there, check the fuel pump wiring or Check and replace the fuel pump control module.
If the fuel pump pressure is OK then definitely replace the high pressure pump
I replaced high pressure fuel pump, still crank won't start
@@JIsmart same i need to check
my low pressure
