Killer Instinct is a classic fighting arcade game from Rareware, which saw a home console port exclusive to the SNES. It features an advanced combo system, rich pre-rendered graphics and nicely arranged music. However, the latter two were somewhat toned down in this version compared to the original.
KusogeMan ( tasvideos.org/... ) plays through single player on Max difficulty using Riptor and beats the final boss in record time.

The optimizations and speed are nice, but I miss the TAPs so much. High combo execution, funny jank and mechanics, etc.
Still, fantastic run showing that KI can be beaten in under 10 minutes! Riptor's my favorite character of all time :D
darkfulgore made a playaround but that can be improved with the new tournament glitches
Triple combo
Super Combo
Hyper Combo
Brutal Combo
Master Combo
Awesome Combo
Rolling around at the speed of sound.
Got tas's to go
Gotta Triple my Combos!
Despite the slightly downgraded graphics and music, killer instinct SNES is amazing. Also came with is soundtrack on a CD!
the game is insanely confortable to play, way more than any MK or SF game, it's pretty crazy actually
@@KusogeMan it's definitely smoother than any of the mortal kombats but sf2 turbo was very well done on the snes.
Triple combo 🗣📢💥
Triple combo 🗣📢💥
Triple combo 🗣📢💥
Riptor wins! Flawless victory! Supreme victory! Fatality! Toasty!
This was one of my favorite games on SNES 😎
dope video
Where did our favorite fighting skeleton named Spinal go?
I'm assuming the point of this run is to be optimised instead of a playaround.
Normally a playaround is supposed to show as many moves, mechanics, and, if applicable, amusing glitches as possible. To that end, they're usually done in a classic Mortal Kombat game in which Shang Tsung is selectable because he can morph into every character.
The closest thing KI has to this is Spinal's combo in which he temporarily morphs into his enemy, which is why he's usually used for these; they're not optimal runs, but they show as many character moves as they can.
Hopefully that explanation made sense.
Thank you @@reloadpsi
According to his ending, he went to hollywood to make movies. Wish him luck!
Digging the music

Another fighting game TAS kusopost huh? Sure, I've got a few minutes.
lol
Kusopost haha nice sh!tpost
7:54 "teach your skills to the pathetic, wimpy, clueless KI beginners." 💀
I don't play like you with him
triple, triple, triple.... no high combos 🙄
not for me but good for who like the basics. 👌
0/10 because in _Killer Instinct_ they did not win each fight with a single ultra combo depleting the entire enemy hp gauge at once.
WTF are they even doing a Killer Instinct TAS for when they just do triple combos?
Ultra combos would result in a slower time.
@@reloadpsi obviously but this is a TAS and not a general speedrun so it's the worst missed opportunity ever
@@ButWhyWasTaken Look up "tool-assisted _playaround"_ for that. It's kind of its own subgenre of fighting game videos and highly entertaining.
You can't win a fight with one combo.
@@ButWhyWasTaken It's a speedrun instead of a playaround. Logically, the fastest way to play the game is indeed the least exciting with fighting games. If you look up what the runner's name means you'll realise the run is sort of a joke. Not that you're obligated to find it funny of course, I'm just saying that that's the point.
Эта игра плохо состарилась
