Yeah, but it's vastly underrated. Back then, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were the fighting games that kids played and moral guardians freaked out over due to the violence. Killer Instinct was probably written off as a clone and not considered worthy.

I remember being able to play him if you entered the code when the level was loading. You heard a whispering voice say 'Eyedol' and then you're buddy got mad at you. Ultras were the best things about this game. You always get that SATISFYING feeling at the end of it, like you just beat up that punk who's been bullying you lol.
The Feeling of being 10 years old and playing your Jerk of a next door neighbor, it being a skin close match until you chain those last few combos & realize you're still going and Finally hearing that ULTRA!!! at the End... Dat Feeling
The Ultra Combos can be different. And that's the awesome part about it. Never saw the Ultimates before and only like 2 dangers... Damn CPU always kicked my ass.
