Yeah, but it's vastly underrated. Back then, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were the fighting games that kids played and moral guardians freaked out over due to the violence. Killer Instinct was probably written off as a clone and not considered worthy.

I didn'tknew you can do the ultimate combos, I've done it as Danger moves all this years... plus there is missing an ultimate finisher with Fulgore that activates with "←↙↓↘→ + HK"
i want them to make a movie. i have it all in my head of how it's supposed to look and ow the plot is supposed to play out to make it an actual good film to watch
I loved how you could work the controls and make new combos and not just set ones. If you were quick or creative enough you could pull off some crazy moves.
Ultras were the best things about this game. You always get that SATISFYING feeling at the end of it, like you just beat up that punk who's been bullying you lol.
nice vid probably my fave fighting game of this type in the 16bit era i spent week learning how to use all of orchids moves (this is when the game first came out on the snes) and one day me and my mate took his snes over to one of our girlfriends house back then when i was using orchid and discovered her ultimate and we both jumped up with great fuck wtf looks on our faces great times
