- This is a Killer Instinct combo tribute done on the actual SNES (Super Nintendo) version of Killer Instinct, not using MAME or any emulator. These are all of the biggest KILLER combos and ULTRA combos that I have figured out how to do over time. The video also contains every characters ULTIMATE combo too. Most of the KILLER and ULTRA combos are advanced combos and not easy to do. If you want to know how to do any of these combos, just ask. Enjoy!

But did they share the cheat code how to unlock the secret level where you could fall off immediately? It was Cinder’s level but blue.
Player 1 & 2 needed to press down after selecting character and keep pressing the yellow button :) haha

This was one fighting game you could beat. Killer characters, killer moves and a killer soundtrack. I even had the music cd from the game.😊. I always loved the hitting noises, almost like you were feeling the hits yourself, and the excitement when you mastered the ultras and your opponent got their ass kicked. It was a bloody rush this game....cause it certainly gave you one.
That's one thing I always loved about it, it just felt so visceral!!! I grew up on Sega and moved to PS so I only got to play this at a friend's at times but I'm inspired to emulate it cuz I never figured out how to do these combos back then. Just started playing the new one on my PC though so I'm wondering if the combos kinda work the same
Orchid's 34 hit Killer Combo may as damn well be the Ultra. DAMN!!😯😯😯

Justin Reyes right my middle brother and my younger brother stayed playing this I used to watch them play then I started playing it but I wasn’t as good I’d be practicing.
This game is one of the most least celebrated tournament games. Everyone is either Street Fighter or Mortal Combat. And while I love both, Killer Instinct was a big part of my childhood as well and a very enjoyable game!
I like how dynamic and fast this game is, without hit pause

I love that people are still hungry to master this classic. I'm getting back into it yet again after finding a perfect copy to play on my phone (S4). Now I can actually hook my phone up to a TV via HDMI & use a ps3 controller to play it anywhere! I would love to learn some of those ultimate combos off by heart. I will probably re watch this multiple times so thanks :)
wow im flabbergasted by how you are able to do such a thing with a phone. hooking it up to a hdmi?! there must be another median to connect it to i would assume. and then do you have a smart tv that can detect your bluetooth dual shock?! i would just get an emulator for my pc and use my dual shock 4 with a cord lol

The cheapest way is a simple micro usb to HDMI cable but that way you are draining your battery & also you can only connect other peripherals via bluetooth. If you can afford it & you have a Galaxy phone or tablet there is a much better option, the Samsung Smart Dock. It has a HDMI out and 3 USB ports. With it I can charge my phone, connect a wired mouse & keyboard plus a wired Xbox 360 or PS3 controller to it & output to a TV all at the same time. No root required either, just plug & play :)
Your comment about using a PC to run the emulators is a fair one, but that's what I was saying about using a PS3 controller to play anywhere.
There is something called a GameKlip which connects my phone directly to a PS3 controller allowing perfect emulation of old games on the go. It means for example on a bus or train journey I can play Killer Instinct on the SNES or N64 & then when I reach my stop I can pause mid-fight & continue on my TV when I get home. Epic!

@@RifetOkic there are plenty. I used to have a Windows phone and they had an app that was loaded with so many SNES games but it was eventually taken down. I still had the app on my phone after it was taken down but one day when I was really drunk I locked my phone and it says that I have to wait over a freaking million minutes to try to unlock it again.

Awesome combo exhibition dude. Truly epic. If you'd have been on the episode of GamesMaster, back in the day, there was a kid who was able to do a 46 hit ultra with Orchid, and you'd have beaten him and won the golden joystick. I used to think that kid was amazing. You just blew me away. Seriously, kudos, man.

I play with every single character and have memorized everyone's Killer Combos and Ultra but I couldn't remember their Ultimates or danger moves for the life of me! This is amazing stuff and I didn't know about the Killer Combos of Jago, Fulgore, T.J. Combo, Chief Thunder and Sabrewulf! And you can squeeze one more hit with Cinder's highest Killer Combo! It's difficult to put off but once you do it feels amazing! KI forever!

As entertaining, educational and amazing as this video is; in real competitive matches you rarely see combinations of more than three hits (combo breakers are really easy to pull off if you know what buttons your opponent is pressing).

Thank you for sharing. I think Orchid has the highest Ultra combo count from what I remember when watching my brother play. Though I love this Killer Instinct, I was not good at the game to this day.
I played so much of this on Xband the ultra combos are memorable even twenty something years later.
Used to play this and street fighter 2 at the arcades....those were the days!
Vários combos neste vídeo infelizmente estão incompletos, como por exemplo o combo máximo da orchid, após executar 4x < > A, L, > < B, L, é possível executar > \/ < Y antes da finalização aumentando em 1 hit o combo, isso também se faz válido no movimento no mercy e caso seja feito junto com o ultra, a orchid acaba executando um ultra fantasma.
O cinder tem um combo que 2x maior do que o exibido no vídeo.
O combo máximo do jago também falta alguns movimentos.
O thief thunder tem um combo diferente do exibido no vídeo onde os hits contados ultrapassam o exibido no vídeo em 3 hits, o mesmo pode ser dito sobre o combo do TJ combo.
Tudo isso sem contar movimentos fantasma ou combos que utilizem glichts ou bugs.
Mas duvido que alguém leria isso.

For those who don't know how to perform the multiple hits with the special moves or the multiple projectiles, it works like this. You must be able to do a combo breaker and earn the flashing starburst at the top of the energy bar to be able to do combos with multiple hits. In the arcade version these are called shadow moves or shadow combos but since it got ported to the Super NES, the shadow effects were dropped but the moves are still in the game. The benefit of earning the flashing starburst, your projectiles will shoot multiple times in one input, special move that use to deal minimal damages now does twice as much and moves that could connect with a single or double hits now could connect to more hits.

Some attacks are still missing. For example @1:45. After you do with Jago the Long Kick and start the Combo with B (medium Kick where he does a low, a high and a low kick), you can press R (Weak Kick) after that and THAN use the Sword. With that you will have 1 hit more which would be a 18th Killer Combo, not 17th.
Still playing this game till this day... teaching my kiddos a thing or two..they really seem to be enjoying it.

I remember as a kid turning the music off and playing this game to "Come Out and Play" By Offspring and "All Mixed Up" by 311.
On Fulgores Killer combo, the close HK ( 2hits) opener doesn't combo in beginning to reset damage scaling ? All 20 hits following that are a true combo however, is that correct. If the whole sequence comboed it would be 22 hits total.
I love K.I. and still play it today. And I got your message I just haven't figured out how to message back on my HTC Evo which is what I'm on most of the time when I watch videos or post comments. But yea I got the message and understand bro. Keep up the good work.

You can squeeze one more hit into orchids largest combo by doing the ichi move before the spinning sword finisher. You can also do it before going into the ultra combo, only one hit more but still
I purchased the Deluxe version of KI for XboxOne, which includes the 2 retro versions from arcade. It's amazing to play them again.
Can you help me with Thunder? I'm trying to do the killer combo with no success, the timing must be very strict or something, I see that you start the combo with 2 normal hits, is it necesary? and after those 2 hits you do two "slice"moves that connect, what punches do I need to use on these (low, medium or high)?, any help would be very appreciated
I did Spinal's ultra combo one time and that is still probably the best day of my life...and I'm married and have a kid 😂
My greatest was when I landed Spinal's ultra combo on Eyedol "bass-aackwards" (catching the character in the back) at difficulty 6.

Were those “ultimate /fatality “ combos in the arcade version?? I vaguely remember orchid flashing and the saberwulf stabbing, but I can’t remember if it was in the arcade. I had the super nes black cartridge too so I feel like I’m confusing them…

I gotta say as a kid I played with orchid and max combo was 21. seeing orchid ultimate about her flashing was a rumor I heard that it was only done in the arcade version. Never seen it until today.
