- There is a unique Veda Gurukulam in Muddenahalli, near Bengaluru. Here children also study, Karate, Music, Sports and regular school curriculum along with traditional veda. Children start at 6th grade and continue to study in university, though the main focus is traditional vedic study. Priests from Tirupati teach here.
Education for All is a tax exempt charitable org in USA that focuses on providing quality, character building education free of cost to rural children in India irrespective of cast, creed, religion or any other status, in collaboration with Prashanti Balamandira Trust, India. Currently there are 26 school campuses providing free education, food and shelter to rural children in need, in India.

Wonderful indeed! Only with Divine Power it’s possible. Specially I see a firm and wholehearted love and commitment in these children. They are evidently God’s Specially Chosen Kids. It’s surely because of their Purva janma sukrutam and holy parents. And I find a great reverence and love for their Gurus. all the Indians schooling system must b replaced wt gurukuls .if full time is nt possible then atleast for 1 _2 yrs or weekends on part time basis each nd every sanatani hindu children must b sent there 2 carry on our legacy.nd 2 keep our children aware of our culture.

This group of institution has schools for both boys and girls separately. They teach Veda to everyone at different levels. They also have Veda taught in undergrad and masters as well.

Why are there not any girls?
I believe these kind of education is given only to boys. Girls will end up getting periods and they will not be considered fit to do religious rituals or chant religious chants in temples. I am assuming that is the reason girls are not admitted to such schools. Personally to me I dont feel that is right as education is education after all and even girls should have the right to learn.
