U might not be knowing this, but people of all castes could wear a janeu in ancient Odisha, even sudras too, although it is mainly preserved by Brahmins and kshatriya now. It is compulsory for every Odia married woman to wear a brata or thread, in her arms or around her chest similar to the janeu, because we Odias have preserved many Archaic features of Vedic religion, one being that women could also wear Janeu and be equal to men, also caste system was never strict in Odisha due to heavy influence of Vaishnavism, so everyone could wear.i am an Odia person, so I know it. Actually, all important Odia temples have Dalit priests only, even the families of the servitors in puri Jagannath Swami mandira.

One of the most effective videos I have seen. The purity of purpose, simplicity of living, high standard of discipline, dedication and devotion towards Vedadhyayana, from one and all of the Gurukul, especially the Mahamahopadhyaya are all true essence of Vedic tradition being carried forward in these times. If this is not the answer to our glorious Indian tradition, then what else is? . My salutations to the Mahamahopadhyaya and the faculty and the students of this glorious Gurukul . May this tradition flourish in the days to come all over India.

Guruji how rich is our heritage. We are proud of this. Unfirtunately our community has been so impressed by modern educational system that even in in purohit families like ours our children have not been sent to ved patshalas. I pray to God that in the coming years people will realise and revert to old system that is so rich. If I am born again Guruji I pray that God will grant me a jenma that will fulfill this wish.

Have participated in the RSS Shakha on the ground this Ved Pathshala is now... and have played cricket on the ground. Have spent 3 years of my life there..... used to live just nearby. The place where this Pathshala is now, belonged to some "Gholap uncle". Have met him many times during my stay there.... He used to give me copies of Reader's Digest that he had. Quite a loving human being! Also remember Palekar uncle (Prop. of Palekar Bakery in Satara) whose property is just opposite to the gate of the Paathshala. Used to pray to Hanumanji under the peepal tree every evening... chanting "Manoo-javam Marut-tulya Vegam... Jitendriyam Buddhimataam VarishTham.... Vaataamajam Vaanarjuth Mukhyam... Shri Raam Dootam SharaNam Prapaddhye" The temple has been shifted now slightly on the right and covered well. Earlier it was just in front of the peepal tree roots. Can remember vividly... the good old days of my youth.... although just a few.... but full of the Great Sanaatan Sanskaar! I bet, had I been a child of 6-7 years then, and this Paathshala would have been there... my father would sure have enrolled me in it. Also, had I fathered a male child.... I sure would have done the same! Unfortunately, not in my fate! मन भाराऊन गेले मि फार आनंदित आहे का? तर आपल्या सातारा मधे येव्हढा सुन्दर उपक्रम वेद पाठ शाला राबवला जातोय मी कृष्ण वेद सातारा ला शुभेच्छा देतो मी सुधा 6 महिन्या पासुन वेद पठन करतोय माजा कडे पुस्तक नाही पण pdf file आहे ती पठन करतो खुप मोठी संस्कृती आहे सनातन वैदिक धर्माची वेद फार प्राचीन आहेत अगदी रामायण महाभारता च्या सुधा फार प्राचीन आहेत
First, it is a good documentary. Second, there is effective need of merit based self-interested education system that is gurukul. Third, our pathshalas are a kind of gurukul system. There are effectively many modes of gurukuls wherein each individual gets his or her self-realized and self-interest education. Fourth, this gurukul system is nothing but today's focused mastering education system. Fifth, we as Indians, need to understand this. It our culture where we have in our DNA inclined to focused education.

U might not be knowing this, but people of all castes could wear a janeu in ancient Odisha, even sudras too, although it is mainly preserved by Brahmins and kshatriya now. It is compulsory for every Odia married woman to wear a brata or thread, in her arms or around her chest similar to the janeu, because we Odias have preserved many Archaic features of Vedic religion, one being that women could also wear Janeu and be equal to men, also caste system was never strict in Odisha due to heavy influence of Vaishnavism, so everyone could wear.i am an Odia person, so I know it.

The purity of purpose, simplicity of living, high standard of discipline, dedication and devotion towards Vedadhyayana, from one and all of the Gurukul, especially the Mahamahopadhyaya are all true essence of Vedic tradition being carried forward in these times. If at all Indan culture is still living, its because of these gurukuls. In fact, the Indian education system should make Sanskrit as a mandatory subject since 1st class to 12th class at least. Every Indian student must be able to write and speak in Sanskrit as if it's their mother tongue.

Unfirtunately our community has been so impressed by modern educational system that even in in purohit families like ours our children have not been sent to ved patshalas. Have participated in the RSS Shakha on the ground this Ved Pathshala is now... and have played cricket on the ground. Have spent 3 years of my life there..... used to live just nearby. The place where this Pathshala is now, belonged to some "Gholap uncle". Have met him many times during my stay there.... He used to give me copies of Reader's Digest that he had. Quite a loving human being! Also remember Palekar uncle (Prop. of Palekar Bakery in Satara) whose property is just opposite to the gate of the Paathshala.
Used to pray to Hanumanji under the peepal tree every evening... chanting "Manoo-javam Marut-tulya Vegam... Jitendriyam Buddhimataam VarishTham.... Vaataamajam Vaanarjuth Mukhyam... Shri Raam Dootam SharaNam Prapaddhye"
The temple has been shifted now slightly on the right and covered well. Earlier it was just in front of the peepal tree roots.
Can remember vividly... the good old days of my youth.... although just a few.... but full of the Great Sanaatan Sanskaar!
I bet, had I been a child of 6-7 years then, and this Paathshala would have been there... my father would sure have enrolled me in it. Also, had I fathered a male child.... I sure would have done the same! Unfortunately, not in my fate!

I don't think this type because now in this present time anybody can do any thing and the result is great success to mankind and without any difficulty
While speaking about intelligence and technology it's proved that the doapar yougs technology was 100times greater then present time then how can eaklavays archery would be difficult to mankind and if dronacharya thought to eaklavay then there would be a possibility that Krishna's blessing hand will be there on the head of eaklavay

आपल्या सातारा मधे येव्हढा सुन्दर उपक्रम वेद पाठ शाला राबवला जातोय मी कृष्ण वेद सातारा ला शुभेच्छा देतो मी सुधा 6 महिन्या पासुन वेद पठन करतोय माजा कडे पुस्तक नाही पण pdf file आहे ती पठन करतो खुप मोठी संस्कृती आहे सनातन वैदिक धर्माची वेद फार प्राचीन आहेत अगदी रामायण महाभारता च्या सुधा फार प्राचीन आहेत

First, it is a good documentary.
Second, there is effective need of merit based self-interested education system that is gurukul.
Third, our pathshalas are a kind of gurukul system. There are effectively many modes of gurukuls wherein each individual gets his or her self-realized and self-interest education.
Fourth, this gurukul system is nothing but today's focused mastering education system.
Fifth, we as Indians, need to understand this. It our culture where we have in our DNA inclined to focused education.
