I learnt Sri Rudram from my Guru Sri Samudrala Samba Murthy Garu, during my Grade 7. He taught me while making me stand in neck deep water in Godavari during winter. Early mornings. I know the importance of Swara and volume of voice. This recording is the best I have listened to. Today I can chant in the cold weather of -20Deg.C. USA. With same Swara. The Sanatana Dharma has literally nothing at all to do with Hinduism. It is only that the Upanishads explain Sanatana Dharma very very clearly, and these being a part of the religion called as Hindu.
Vedas and the right to Read or listen to such auspicious chants cannot be bound or cannot only belong to one but all....so don't draw a demarcation by saying "my Hindu brothers sisters"

Vedic chant that have 3 ways 1. Upamsu japa(only chant in mind) 2. Mouna japa( chant in low voice by means of lip movement ) 3. Vaighari japa( normal sound also some area has high pitch and low pitch(this is knwn as maatra) like this one is vaighari japa. In USA in one of the temple I go to apaswaram is so prevalent, I gave up on Rudram. When I Sri Suresh Rudram chanting it changed my mind to be tranquil. Swamiiji Tattvavidananda recently explained the meaning of Rudram, and his explanations took me directly to Sruti’s universal vision, a step forward from limited smriti explanation. He pointed Rudram is several thousands of years prior to puraanaas. A walk on the beach listening to Suresh jis Rudram and recollecting Vedic meaning immerses you into universal god. Thanks

@@DhitishmanDas As we know, these Vedic Mantras are high on energy and vibrations and water is a conductor..so what I did was I sat my bottle of water on the table right in front of my mouth and chanted it, while playing it along for correct pronunciation. I played it on my phone while putting it on the table as well. Doing it daily will show fine changes!

Anyone listening this chant fir the first time but felt like as if you knew them for ages????? So clear pronunciation, as if I am chanting these mantras. I couldnt pause it once it started.
It was a challenge to keep up just reading as the chant progressed, but the effort was rewarded with a sense of engagement in something truly special. The musicality of the vowels and the complex rhythms were wonderful.

All is well. We got hit with a category 3-4 hurricane and the damage was minimal. For me... I had no damage. In fact, only the homes directly on the water reviewed any damage and it was minimal. When the hurricane moved across the state it spawned a record number of tornados in another region approximately 200 miles from here. I was without power for almost 17 hours. I've been with our power for almost three weeks before. Good hears the Sri Rudram.

2. Mouna japa( chant in low voice by means of lip movement )
3. Vaighari japa( normal sound also some area has high pitch and low pitch(this is knwn as maatra) like this one is vaighari japa.

In USA in one of the temple I go to apaswaram is so prevalent, I gave up on Rudram. When I Sri Suresh Rudram chanting it changed my mind to be tranquil. Swamiiji Tattvavidananda recently explained the meaning of Rudram, and his explanations took me directly to Sruti’s universal vision, a step forward from limited smriti explanation. He pointed Rudram is several thousands of years prior to puraanaas. A walk on the beach listening to Suresh jis Rudram and recollecting Vedic meaning immerses you into universal god.

@@DhitishmanDas As we know, these Vedic Mantras are high on energy and vibrations and water is a conductor..so what I did was I sat my bottle of water on the table right in front of my mouth and chanted it, while playing it along for correct pronunciation. I played it on my phone while putting it on the table as well. Doing it daily will show fine changes!

My grandfather was Purohit who used to chant this . His Grandson younger than me he has taken that great tradition forward and learnt Vedas in Udupi Pejawar Mutt for 11 years and now RAJA PUROHIT does all HOMAs with utmost dedication and clarity . We are jamming to the Sri Rudram here in North Fort Myers, Florida USA 33903, prior to hurricane Milton which is supposed to be crossing Florida Tuesday night 10/08/2024. Thank you for the time, money, and heart you put into this. The Lord knows you and the intentions of your heart. Come on ancient wisdom... You got this.
All is well. We got hit with a category 3-4 hurricane and the damage was minimal. For me... I had no damage. In fact, only the homes directly on the water reviewed any damage and it was minimal. When the hurricane moved across the state it spawned a record number of tornados in another region approximately 200 miles from here. I was without power for almost 17 hours. I've been with our power for almost three weeks before. Good hears the Sri Rudram.
No damage despite almost a direct hit.

This rudram chant took my mind away from my current surroundings to an ancient temple with the Shiva Lingam getting washed with water. I listened to the entire Shri Rudram Namakam and what an extraordinary rendition with clarity.
I noticed that a lot of mantras towards the end of Namakam were already rendered in Ghana Patha forms in Pancha Rudram 1-4 both in Rig and Yajur Veda.
