Honestly? Much more trouble with Chimeratech Rampage Dragon. Just use a Trap and Purgatrio goes straight to hell, but since Chimeratech Rampage Dragon gets rid of Traps on summon I've suffered many more defeats to it.

If Duel Links had the level of backrow removal available in the TCG then Invoked Control decks wouldn't be an issue. But as it stands it's hard to take out 2 Floodgate Trap Hole and a Canadia unless you open Trunade. And even then, you have to OTK that turn or they'll just reset their traps and flip you down so Purgatrio can deal piercing damage and wipe your board, if not OTK you. The starting LP of 4000 also makes it hard to survive long enough to remove all their backrow and Purgatrio

There arent enough cards from the invoked archtype in duel links for that many to be banned. Plus theres only 3 from the archrype on their ban list, not 10

I love that guy. Never played duel links but it was almost always a game ender when you miracle fusion 3 random heros into a 5k beat stick that can swing three times. He doesn’t do much,but what he does do he’s great at it
It really helps when the opponent can only have 3 cards in the spell and trap zone, and that they have 4000 starting life points so a 5k beat stick is incredibly dangerous when it can attack three times because you really only need your opponent to have 2 monsters to win since having 2 attack position monsters with over 3100 attack is kinda tough and if they have 3 then it’s straight gg unless they can manipulate battle damage or change their whole field to defense or if they have 3 monsters with over 3600 attack each

You mean a train deck. Inifinitrack aren't getting Liebe out with any type of consistency. Trains can get him out turn one if they want to, almost without fail.
There was 5 tournaments in 2020 that Cyber dragon got top 16 with 3 of them, being top 4. In 2018 Cyber dragon was the best going 2nd deck of the meta.

Maybe because of it being a fusion monster that doesn't have monster effect protection (most common form of removal) and doesn't impact the field other than attacking really hard

Amazing list! Btw as a HERO and Cyber Dragon player I have to add two things: - Chimeratech Rampage Dragon can easily get 4200 atk, mainly by Cyber Dragon Sieger and limiter removal. Rarely by powerbond - Vision HERO Trinity can be powered up with Honest Neos. 70% of the times I bring out trinity I have the 2500 atk boost ready and almost 50% of those times it wins the duel.
One thing not mentioned in this video is the actual reason Dark matter dragon is banned, and that is the fact that the mill 3 dragons is a cost and not an effect so you just do it immediatle and your opponent can't do anything about it...
I believe "Thunder King, The Lightning Strike Kaiju" is also a good multi-attacker. Not only is it relatively easy to bring out, but if you have at least 3 Kaiju Counters on the field, you can get rid if them so that it can attack up to 3 of your opponent's monsters that turn, while also preventing your opponent from activating any cards or effects for the rest of your turn (which is an effect that can be activated during your main phase 1 to prevent your opponent from interfering with your players that turn.
Too many materials and can only be played in ancient gears. Every entry was generic. You can play mask change II for trinity and use prisma for overdragon. It's a bit out there but not so much that you couldn't play them.
@@bulkbogan2242 Pretty sure Prisma can only sub on monster materials that are explicitly named. Chimeratech Rampage Dragon (the mentioned card) is only generic materials within the archetype (Cyber Dragons). Chimeratech Overdragon just takes way too much for very little payout.
Rampage can be brought out with Overload Fusion in a deck that easily fills its own graveyard with lots of monsters. That isn’t quite the case for Giant. Plus Ancient Gears haven’t had as much success as Cyber Dragons (though I acknowledge that they have had some success but like, Cyber Dragons have always been big deal every couple of years ever since its release).
No chaos ancient gear giant? but it has 4500atk, can attack all monsters your opponent controls, and deals piercing damage. That automatically makes it better than at least half the cards on this list.
Very minor correction about Rampage. You normally don't even bring it with Power Bond... (except in the OCG, because Maxx C) But the mill effect can actually be used as an extender milling herz and naschter. As you could use naschter to go into Sieger which then would basically make Rampage have the same amount of attack as using Power Bond. Or use it to revive a OG cydra and go into Infinity, w/e is necessary. Or drop 2 different levels and user overflow... There's a bunch of possibilities. Also it's important to note that the effects are not HOPT, so if you summon multiple copies or revive it, you can mill again.
@@ojamaftk9585 it was a consistent gimmick deck back in Master Rule 4... now in Master Rule 5 Revisions, not so much; I regularly fiddle with my decks to see if I can make them better, so I tried running a Prediction Princess with Pot of the Forbidden in the current meta, with A LOT of fiddles it is now a level 9 support/True King Drago/Prediction Princess/Pot of/Rank 9 XYS.... it is the most clumsy deck ever, so.... short answer is, "No".

When Chimeratech rampage dragon was released I was amazed of how much it synergized with the archetipe: - Destroys trap/spell cards so you can leave your opponent defenseless - Dark machine so you can bring it with overload - Double foolish burial so you can secure a Core or even a Magnetic turtle on your graveyard while also synergizing with Cyber repair plant - 5 star monster so you can use it for Infinity after attacking - Uses Cyber dragon CARDS as material instead of only Cyber dragon, so you can use cards from your hand for fusion. I can't even remember playing Cyber dragons without it.
I thought "Chimeratech Overdragon" was going to be here, even if one of the lowest. Guess the ability to attack 6 times 4800 dmg each time is not worth the cost in the current meta(?)
For the cost to bring it out, which includes wiping the rest of your field, it's not worth it. Rampage is much more flexible in the current meta and basically does more for less.
Rampage is better due to the backrow removal and the fact that it's usually easy af to summon it after putting on the field sieger and/or infinity, after that just pump the damage to 4200 with sieger's effect and attack 3 times to end the game

fun fact: there is no "till the end of the turn" limit ob Liebe's Attack increase, it is a lingering effect - I have, in situations where opponents stall out or duels drag on, gotten Liebe to 14,000 attack.

From what I can find, Mataza the Zapper was relevant till September 2006 for its secondary effect, since Snatch Steal and Thousand Eyes Restrict (through metamorphosis on a goat token) were literally in (almost?) every deck till they got banned.
Black Luster Soldier Envoy of the Beginning should have gotten and honorable mention as it can attack twice and is a well known card. also you can do a top 10 list of the best extra deck monsters of each type and 1 or 2 monsters in each video that aren't that type but work well with that deck like how Psy Frame Lord Omega works well with Zombies also the top 10 dark counterparts of monsters like Dark Grepher, Dark Armed Dragon etc also top 10 extra deck monsters with 1000 atk or less

A fun pair for this topic are Lunalight Cat Dancer and Lunalight Panther Dancer. Both have the effect to make your opponent’s monsters survive battle destruction once. That’s because they have the ability to attack all monsters your opponent controls, twice each. The opponent protection effect is just there to allow you to attack over each possible target twice for more damage. And this means that both of them can potentially perform *twelve* attacks in a turn, if your opponent has 6 monsters out.

I'm not a great Yugioh player but one of my greatest moments was using Vision Hero Trinity to win a game. My opponent had a monster that couldn't be destroyed by battle. I just attacked into it 3 times and won the game. BTW, my greatest win was when I beat my best friend, who is a MUCH better duelist, when he attacked into my set marshmallon :)
I thought Chimeratech Overdragon would be on the list. Love that monster!!! It was so powerful back in the GX era even if you had to send every other card you controlled to the graveyard.
I wish Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon would've seen a mention...2000 atk, can attack all SS'ed monsters your opponent controls, AND whenever it battles a SS'ed monster, it permanently sets their atk&def to 0 While not as flashy as others on the list, it can easily deal with non battle immune monsters and can wipe a whole board by itself
I feel like lunalight Leo dancer could have an honorary mention as 1. It can attack twice in a battle phase 2. When it destroys a monster by battle it destroys all special summoned monsters your opponent controls and 3. It cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effect. It’s base stats of 3500, 3000 are nothing to scoff at either. It’s only downside is that it’s at the end of a fusion chain which can be skipped using kaleido but hey,if that’s not good I dunno what is
I've had decent success using them with Kaijus. You can dedicate your normal summon to Ali, and combo him with the charmer familiars. Plus it lets you use Big Turtle's negate, which is low-key broken.
Great list,I couldn't remember all those monster in a time.But at least you could involve Bujin Susanowo and Lunalight Leo Dancer,which are responsible for many otk strategies and decks.
i know you more of looked at current multi attackers in more current deck, but maybe if you revisit the topic maybe look at history of decks that that used these kind of cards or were literally the deck's focus, first 2 that come to mind are the old ben kei decks and quasar decks. love the videos and can't wait for the next one.
Juggernaut Lieb has deceptive card text. By detaching material, it gains 2000 atk/def, but it doesn't lose it. The comma and use of the word "also" separates the secondary effect as the only one that gets the once per turn restriction.
It's just a trend when you do a top 10 list for a specific kind of effect to have an entry or two where they saw a lot of play, but not for the effect in question. I find it funny how they brought in the weaker Invoked cards for Duel Links and they still ended up being overpowered. Top 10: - Tuner Synchro monsters - Archetypes with only one Fusion Monster - Goblin cards - Warrior (Archetype so they have Warrior in their name) Synchro monsters. Not to be rude, but you could make a drinking game out of watching your top 10 playlist and taking a shot every time you use the term archetype when you are referring to a series or type. - Toon Monsters - Link 1 monsters - Sea Serpent monsters
lil correction the atk boost of juggernaut liebe is permanent but the part of disabling other monster from attacking is only for that turn as there is a comma separating those parts of the effect

Top 10 archetipes that Center around a specific summoning metod. (Top 10 fusion archetipes, ritual archetipes, synchro archetipes, xyz archetipes, pendulum archetipes and link archetipes)
Galaxy Eyes Dark Matter Dragon had such ridiculous synergy with Amorphage Goliath and Arkbrave. You essentially locked your opponent out of using their extra deck.
This reminded me of one of the classic multi-attackers from way back in the early days of Yugioh, Hayabusa Knight. Hayabusa Knight was a dinky little monster at 3 stars with an Attack of 1000 and Defense of 700 that was considered rare back in the day because it had the ability to attack twice per Battle Phase but most monsters of substance could basically beat over it with no problem with the added bonus of attacking into them with Hayabusa Knight would surely be suicide. That said, there was a way for it beat over more powerful monsters, the Equip spell card Buster Rancher, a card that specifically stated it could not be equipped to a monster with more than 1000 attack and was a quick and dirty way to give a monster an additional 2500 attack during damage calculation if the monster they were trying to beat over had more than a 2500 attack or defense. The card actually states the effect is dependant on the position of the monster you are trying to beat over so you can't cheese your way into a bonus in some ways. My brother and I never played in a competition but a common tactic we would use when facing each other was to equip Hayabusa Knight with Buster Rancher as soon as possible when the monster hit the field to give it the added bonus of beating over more powerful monsters since Hayabusa Knight had its attack and maximum attack allowed for a monster equipped with Buster Rancher. I don't know how viable that tactic would be in the competitive scene now, it would probably be seen as a niche sort of play now, but the idea of a supposedly weak monster being able to beat over monsters clearly more powerful than it can probably catch opponents off guard enough make an opening for far more viable plays. There's an idea for a future video, the best and worst low-level monster support cards. I can't recall if you've done those sorts of videos yet, but it's probably still a good idea to redo some older videos since what was true at the time of the video's upload might have changed a bit now.
Hayabusa Knight would also be power crept by Mataza the Zapper within a few years of its release, as that card had a higher attack and useful secondary effect of not being able to swap control (big in an era where Snatch Steal and Thousand Eyes Restrict were in every deck). That would soon get a sidegrade that was really well suited to what you're talking about in Armed Samurai - Ben Kei, who got an extra attack for every equip spell he had, creating a consistent *enough* OTK it saw rogue deck status in GOAT format (a highly competitive enviroment that plays with the card pool and rulings of the 2005 World Championships eras) and is the main trick the Over the Nexus tool assisted speedrun uses to cheese the game.
Casual and fun cards in your lists might get you to trick more people to subscribe.. I know I do.. but I’m already subscribed to you because I like your videos and also to avoid any competitive bullshit.
Actually stardust charge would not be played if it could not attack multiple monsters, it’s effects in combination with Utopia Beyond is why it’s played, makes for easy OTKs
Honorable mention to Asura Priest as back in the day he got rid of your opponent's Scapegoats and cleared up a field very easily for you. AND returned to your hand to prevent him from getting destroyed.
What about the top 10 special summon from the extra deck? Like waking the dragon and even an older card like Temple of the kings? I'd love to see one of that! Edit: I meant cards that can be used to do the whole special summoning. I know you made a video with that title and theme. But instead base a video around the cards you can use to do it! Maybe even from the deck if you need to fill up some slots
Top ten ideas that _YOU_ think would add relevance to cards and stratagems that have long been powercrept out of existence (like maybe a way to make non-effect ritual monsters worthwhile again. Perhaps a continuous or field spell that makes it so when a non-effect ritual monster is properly summoned, you get to summon the other two you’re allowed from your hand, deck and/or graveyard. That’s just an idea I had.)
And yes, Borrelsword helped contribute to the limiting of Scapegoat. It's link monsters in general, and Borrelsword specifically just happens to be one of the best targets to end on purely with the tokens generated by Scapegoat. Poetic justice, considering if Scapegoat is the best token generator, especially on a quick play spell that can be activated during your opponent's turn, ideally during their end phase, and if Borrelsword is the best multi-attacker, it would be for precisely these reasons.
As a honorable mentions i would put Metamorphosed Insect Queen, that is pretty good, but there are no too good insect decks to play it with. But one day IT may be a big card if there will be a meta insect deck.

Amazing list! Btw as a HERO and Cyber Dragon player I have to add two things:
- Chimeratech Rampage Dragon can easily get 4200 atk, mainly by Cyber Dragon Sieger and limiter removal. Rarely by powerbond
- Vision HERO Trinity can be powered up with Honest Neos. 70% of the times I bring out trinity I have the 2500 atk boost ready and almost 50% of those times it wins the duel.

One thing not mentioned in this video is the actual reason Dark matter dragon is banned, and that is the fact that the mill 3 dragons is a cost and not an effect so you just do it immediatle and your opponent can't do anything about it...

I believe "Thunder King, The Lightning Strike Kaiju" is also a good multi-attacker. Not only is it relatively easy to bring out, but if you have at least 3 Kaiju Counters on the field, you can get rid if them so that it can attack up to 3 of your opponent's monsters that turn, while also preventing your opponent from activating any cards or effects for the rest of your turn (which is an effect that can be activated during your main phase 1 to prevent your opponent from interfering with your players that turn.

Shame, Chaos Ancient Gear Giant is easy to get out and can OTK easily.
Too many materials and can only be played in ancient gears. Every entry was generic. You can play mask change II for trinity and use prisma for overdragon. It's a bit out there but not so much that you couldn't play them.
@@bulkbogan2242 Pretty sure Prisma can only sub on monster materials that are explicitly named. Chimeratech Rampage Dragon (the mentioned card) is only generic materials within the archetype (Cyber Dragons). Chimeratech Overdragon just takes way too much for very little payout.
Rampage can be brought out with Overload Fusion in a deck that easily fills its own graveyard with lots of monsters. That isn’t quite the case for Giant. Plus Ancient Gears haven’t had as much success as Cyber Dragons (though I acknowledge that they have had some success but like, Cyber Dragons have always been big deal every couple of years ever since its release).

No chaos ancient gear giant? but it has 4500atk, can attack all monsters your opponent controls, and deals piercing damage. That automatically makes it better than at least half the cards on this list.
Very minor correction about Rampage. You normally don't even bring it with Power Bond... (except in the OCG, because Maxx C) But the mill effect can actually be used as an extender milling herz and naschter. As you could use naschter to go into Sieger which then would basically make Rampage have the same amount of attack as using Power Bond. Or use it to revive a OG cydra and go into Infinity, w/e is necessary. Or drop 2 different levels and user overflow... There's a bunch of possibilities.
Also it's important to note that the effects are not HOPT, so if you summon multiple copies or revive it, you can mill again.

@@ojamaftk9585 it was a consistent gimmick deck back in Master Rule 4... now in Master Rule 5 Revisions, not so much; I regularly fiddle with my decks to see if I can make them better, so I tried running a Prediction Princess with Pot of the Forbidden in the current meta, with A LOT of fiddles it is now a level 9 support/True King Drago/Prediction Princess/Pot of/Rank 9 XYS.... it is the most clumsy deck ever, so.... short answer is, "No".

When Chimeratech rampage dragon was released I was amazed of how much it synergized with the archetipe:
- Destroys trap/spell cards so you can leave your opponent defenseless
- Dark machine so you can bring it with overload
- Double foolish burial so you can secure a Core or even a Magnetic turtle on your graveyard while also synergizing with Cyber repair plant
- 5 star monster so you can use it for Infinity after attacking
- Uses Cyber dragon CARDS as material instead of only Cyber dragon, so you can use cards from your hand for fusion.
I can't even remember playing Cyber dragons without it.
I thought "Chimeratech Overdragon" was going to be here, even if one of the lowest.
Guess the ability to attack 6 times 4800 dmg each time is not worth the cost in the current meta(?)
Also Ancient Gear Chaos Giant 4500 atk on every monster once each uneffected by spells and traps and effect cannot be actived during battlefase
I think that it's mostly the fact that it wipes your board on summon.
For the cost to bring it out, which includes wiping the rest of your field, it's not worth it. Rampage is much more flexible in the current meta and basically does more for less.
When its beta model is better than its alpha model you know something feels wrong.
Rampage is better due to the backrow removal and the fact that it's usually easy af to summon it after putting on the field sieger and/or infinity, after that just pump the damage to 4200 with sieger's effect and attack 3 times to end the game

fun fact: there is no "till the end of the turn" limit ob Liebe's Attack increase, it is a lingering effect - I have, in situations where opponents stall out or duels drag on, gotten Liebe to 14,000 attack.

I almost wanted an honorable mention for Hayabusa Knight or Mataza the Zapper but they probably stopped being relevant 20 years ago if they ever were in the first place.
From what I can find, Mataza the Zapper was relevant till September 2006 for its secondary effect, since Snatch Steal and Thousand Eyes Restrict (through metamorphosis on a goat token) were literally in (almost?) every deck till they got banned.

A fun pair for this topic are Lunalight Cat Dancer and Lunalight Panther Dancer. Both have the effect to make your opponent’s monsters survive battle destruction once. That’s because they have the ability to attack all monsters your opponent controls, twice each. The opponent protection effect is just there to allow you to attack over each possible target twice for more damage.
And this means that both of them can potentially perform *twelve* attacks in a turn, if your opponent has 6 monsters out.

I'm not a great Yugioh player but one of my greatest moments was using Vision Hero Trinity to win a game. My opponent had a monster that couldn't be destroyed by battle. I just attacked into it 3 times and won the game.
BTW, my greatest win was when I beat my best friend, who is a MUCH better duelist, when he attacked into my set marshmallon :)

I wish Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon would've seen a mention...2000 atk, can attack all SS'ed monsters your opponent controls, AND whenever it battles a SS'ed monster, it permanently sets their atk&def to 0
While not as flashy as others on the list, it can easily deal with non battle immune monsters and can wipe a whole board by itself
I feel like lunalight Leo dancer could have an honorary mention as 1. It can attack twice in a battle phase 2. When it destroys a monster by battle it destroys all special summoned monsters your opponent controls and 3. It cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effect. It’s base stats of 3500, 3000 are nothing to scoff at either. It’s only downside is that it’s at the end of a fusion chain which can be skipped using kaleido but hey,if that’s not good I dunno what is

I've had decent success using them with Kaijus. You can dedicate your normal summon to Ali, and combo him with the charmer familiars. Plus it lets you use Big Turtle's negate, which is low-key broken.
Great list,I couldn't remember all those monster in a time.But at least you could involve Bujin Susanowo and Lunalight Leo Dancer,which are responsible for many otk strategies and decks.
i know you more of looked at current multi attackers in more current deck, but maybe if you revisit the topic maybe look at history of decks that that used these kind of cards or were literally the deck's focus, first 2 that come to mind are the old ben kei decks and quasar decks. love the videos and can't wait for the next one.
Juggernaut Lieb has deceptive card text. By detaching material, it gains 2000 atk/def, but it doesn't lose it. The comma and use of the word "also" separates the secondary effect as the only one that gets the once per turn restriction.
It's just a trend when you do a top 10 list for a specific kind of effect to have an entry or two where they saw a lot of play, but not for the effect in question.
I find it funny how they brought in the weaker Invoked cards for Duel Links and they still ended up being overpowered.

Top 10 archetipes that Center around a specific summoning metod. (Top 10 fusion archetipes, ritual archetipes, synchro archetipes, xyz archetipes, pendulum archetipes and link archetipes)
Galaxy Eyes Dark Matter Dragon had such ridiculous synergy with Amorphage Goliath and Arkbrave. You essentially locked your opponent out of using their extra deck.
This reminded me of one of the classic multi-attackers from way back in the early days of Yugioh, Hayabusa Knight. Hayabusa Knight was a dinky little monster at 3 stars with an Attack of 1000 and Defense of 700 that was considered rare back in the day because it had the ability to attack twice per Battle Phase but most monsters of substance could basically beat over it with no problem with the added bonus of attacking into them with Hayabusa Knight would surely be suicide. That said, there was a way for it beat over more powerful monsters, the Equip spell card Buster Rancher, a card that specifically stated it could not be equipped to a monster with more than 1000 attack and was a quick and dirty way to give a monster an additional 2500 attack during damage calculation if the monster they were trying to beat over had more than a 2500 attack or defense. The card actually states the effect is dependant on the position of the monster you are trying to beat over so you can't cheese your way into a bonus in some ways. My brother and I never played in a competition but a common tactic we would use when facing each other was to equip Hayabusa Knight with Buster Rancher as soon as possible when the monster hit the field to give it the added bonus of beating over more powerful monsters since Hayabusa Knight had its attack and maximum attack allowed for a monster equipped with Buster Rancher.
I don't know how viable that tactic would be in the competitive scene now, it would probably be seen as a niche sort of play now, but the idea of a supposedly weak monster being able to beat over monsters clearly more powerful than it can probably catch opponents off guard enough make an opening for far more viable plays.
There's an idea for a future video, the best and worst low-level monster support cards. I can't recall if you've done those sorts of videos yet, but it's probably still a good idea to redo some older videos since what was true at the time of the video's upload might have changed a bit now.
Hayabusa Knight would also be power crept by Mataza the Zapper within a few years of its release, as that card had a higher attack and useful secondary effect of not being able to swap control (big in an era where Snatch Steal and Thousand Eyes Restrict were in every deck). That would soon get a sidegrade that was really well suited to what you're talking about in Armed Samurai - Ben Kei, who got an extra attack for every equip spell he had, creating a consistent *enough* OTK it saw rogue deck status in GOAT format (a highly competitive enviroment that plays with the card pool and rulings of the 2005 World Championships eras) and is the main trick the Over the Nexus tool assisted speedrun uses to cheese the game.

Actually stardust charge would not be played if it could not attack multiple monsters, it’s effects in combination with Utopia Beyond is why it’s played, makes for easy OTKs
Honorable mention to Asura Priest as back in the day he got rid of your opponent's Scapegoats and cleared up a field very easily for you. AND returned to your hand to prevent him from getting destroyed.

That’s just an idea I had.)
And yes, Borrelsword helped contribute to the limiting of Scapegoat. It's link monsters in general, and Borrelsword specifically just happens to be one of the best targets to end on purely with the tokens generated by Scapegoat. Poetic justice, considering if Scapegoat is the best token generator, especially on a quick play spell that can be activated during your opponent's turn, ideally during their end phase, and if Borrelsword is the best multi-attacker, it would be for precisely these reasons.

As a honorable mentions i would put Metamorphosed Insect Queen, that is pretty good, but there are no too good insect decks to play it with. But one day IT may be a big card if there will be a meta insect deck.
