Hello! It did make me sad that he said Ancient Gear Golem and Pound are hard to get out when Ancient Gear decks have many ways to get them out. Also, he didn't mention Overload Fusion, which can easily get Chaos Giant out after an Ancient Gear Fusion.

It's kinda niche and I don't know if there's enough for a Top 10 or have good enough cards for a Top 10 but I want to see a Top 10 non-union monsters that can equip itself to other monsters (like Black Metal Dragon, Dark Necrofear etc.) or Top 10 monsters that can treat monsters as equip cards (Red Eyes Slash Dragon, Thousand Eyes Restrict, Cyberdarks etc.).
I feel like you are highly underestimating #10. That card is specifically an OTK enabler. If a player brings #10 out while the opponent has a quick effect monster telegraphed, then that loss is on them. The only card that can reasonably out this card from a competent player are hand traps, specifically Effect Veiler, otherwise good luck surprising them with flip effects. That said, it probably deserved #9 at best.
I would put Neo Parsath, just 2300 for a 7th level Monster but if you have Sky Sanctuary and more life points than your opponent it adds that difference to it's attack, getting stronger and stronger. It also lets you draw a card when it makes damage and can be easily summoned if you have it's weaker versión in the field or if you have Valhalla and no monsters in your field.
An important thing to note, in the case of Rebirth of Parshath, is the structure deck it came in also had Guiding Ariadne, a pendulum monster that made it where you don’t have to pay costs to use counter traps.

It was the best thing ever to have a high defense monster like aqua madoor be hit by spear dragon so they lost 100 lp and had to switch the spear dragon into defense mode then you attack it with your own spear dragon

Chaos ancient gear giant isn’t that hard to summon since ancient gear wyvern can search out materials like ancient gear box which searches out more materials for you and plus ancient gear golem isn’t that hard to summon thanks to cards like ancient gear catapult and ancient gear howitzer also it has decent protection so I think it deserves a higher spot on the list .

As a weirdo, I'd like to plead the case for Gem-Knight Ruby being on this list. I know Gems weren't really a hugely played archetype, but they're a favorite of mine and Ruby is a really solid one. A 2500 beatstick who is relatively easy to summon (just needs Garnet and any other Gem-Knight) and can absorb the attack of any other Gem you tribute plus piercing. A Duel Links combo I love is to use Gem-Knight Fusion to bring out Lady Brilliant Diamond, use her effect to turn something into Ruby, tribute Lady Brilliant Diamond for Ruby's effect, and attack. Anything with less than a 1900/1900 stat line (depending on battle position) results in an immediate OTK if the attack goes through

Something I didn’t see mentioned about the Blue Eyes Chaos Max combination is that if you pair it with the regular Blue Eyes Chaos Dragon, mind you I am aware of needing to use a blue eyes to gain the effect and it’s another ritual that is tough to bring out, you have a game winning combo right there and if you do it right I’m sure you can cheat out chaos max but still recommend doing Chaos’s normally so you can gain the effect of when he attacks your opponents monster, they switch battle positions and all their values are permanently set to 0, while doing normal piercing damage then follow up with Chaos max and you win the game if they are all switched to defense mode when Chaos Dragon attacks

I remember those days. It was a lot faster than saying "a monster that, when it attacks with an ATK higher than the DEF of a defense position monster, can inflict the difference as damage to the opponent's life points." I miss the days of deliberately confusing text for simple effects.
I loved using Gaia Dragon in my Hieratic deck. I know Hieratics weren't really a super meta competitive deck, but going 2nd, opening into 2 Atums, brining out Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, using it's effect to bring out a Blue-Eyes from my hand or graveyard, then overlaying both Atums (who can't attack the turn they use their effect) into Gaia's, then swinging for game is one of my fondest memories of mid-2010's yugioh. It was the first time I ever legitimately OTK'd someone, and it felt so good
This was actually a top 10 I wanted to see. Great list! The #1 was expected since it is currently the only banned monster that inflicts piercing battle damage. Metalfoes Orichalc can make the list. Grants double piercing to all your metalfoes monsters. Also very easy to bring out in that archetype.
Not even an honorable mention for D/D/D Dragonbane King Beowulf? I mean, he blows up all the cards in the S&T zones during the standby phase as well as gives all D/D monsters piercing battle damage. Whether the deck can make use of that is a different story though. ^^;
D/D/D-fusion monsters are fairly easy to summon in Duel Links, but it sucks that the backrow-destruction is almost literally Sacred Phoenix Of Nephthys. The fact that it can only be used during your own standby phase is a problem.

Let's say you have 3 Dark Contracts on your field with less than 2k LP left, Beowulf will save you from taking any burn damage because you can activate his destruction effect before the burn, even though they are mandatory and activates.
As an Ancient Gear player, I feel a little offended that you think 4 materials is a pain. I can crap out that big boy no problem in my deck. Chaos Giant isn't mean to stick around, it's meant to win you the game in a single go. Also MAX is easy to bring out in a proper deck for it. Watch your opponent immediately start searching for removal the moment that beast hits the field.
Wait you can bring out Chaos Ancient Gear Giant with overload fusion since it's a dark machine. But I wish I could cheat it out with cyber Dragon Nova.

I feel that Spear Dragon should make an honorable mention, for it was one of the few cards that had piercing damage back then, especially with 1900 atk.
To be honest, i expected the sacred arch-airknight Parshath to be on the list and it clearly deserves to be in a high spot of it : It's a 2800 atk easily summonable beatstick and whose piercing effect allows the player to search ANY counter trap OR Parshath card in the deck... I hope by the way that the archetype will get more support.
Chaos Giant in 10 but Parshath and Cyber End in 9 and 8? That's very off... Cyber End isn't played at all and the Parshath Counter Traps is much better used to summon the big MAIN DECK Parshath monster. Meanwhilw, Chaos Giant is one of thw win conditions in AGs, and let's not pretend it's difficult to gather 4 AGs OR summon a Golem. Also, holy crap! I never noticed Dragster had piercing XD EDIT: BTW, here's an idea for a future video: "Top 10 WORST High Level Synchro Monster (levels 10-12)".
Usually in those lists card are rates keeping an eye on their legacy. Cyber end dragon was much better in it's prime than Chaos Ancient Gear golem ever was. BLS is a terrible boss monster by modern standards, but to deny it had more impact on YGO has a whole than 90% of the current bosses would be foolish.
Nice list, you actually did it! ;) I'm somehow glad I have almost all of these monsters! Top 10 Tuner Monsters (that aren't mainly used as hand traps); Top 10 Ritual Monsters; Top 10 Union Monsters; Top 10 Gemini Monsters; Top 10 Cards that have a better version of themselves (BLS>Chaos Sorcerer, Magical Stone Excavation>Spell Reproduction...) Top 10 Spell/Trap Cards that activate from the GY.
I'm surprised you didn't include D/D/D Beowulf since it allows all other friendly monsters to deal piercing and destroys all spell/traps during your standby
I think Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon would've been a better choice to represent the Ancient gear archetype, especially with that spell/trap destruction. But some great monsters to consider, Buster Blader The Dragon Destroyer Swordsman (very fun to combo with DNA surgery), Dark Calvary (also negates). 9 tailed fox (drops tokens upon death), and Cyber Angel Dakini. I thunk all good ones in my opinion.
No mention to Great Emperor Manju Garzet? It saw a lot of play in Dark Matter Hieratics when Dragon Rulers and Dark Matter were legal in the OCG, was a combo piece that happened to have piercieng damage, but was only played by being a lv 8 monster that could special summon itself easily in the deck
In yugioh legacy of the duelist: link evolution, I made a deck using nightingale and getting that card to a absurd level is pretty hard, which is how its balanced but the most I got it to was 4500 ATK, and 3500 effect damage
For Gaia Dragon, it's more worth noting that while it was used for its piercing, it was most often actually used just to get an attack in by replacing a monster that otherwise would not have been able to attack. Piercing and having 2600 certainly helps.
For Cyber End Dragon, the 3 cards related to it have "nasty side effects" Cyber-Stein- Pay 5000 LP to special summom this card. Power Bond - You take 4000 damage at the End Phase and sends the fusion monster to the grave. Limiter Removal - Sends to Graveyard at the end phase Megamorph - If you have more life points than your opponent, Cyber End's ATK becomes 2000
Chaos Ancient Gear Golem should AT LEAST have been above Parshath imo. Here's why: He's easy to bring out in one turn, and is WORTH the resources to bring him out most of the time Is a win condition on its own Is a target for Overload Fusion(Which also makes it possible to bring out 2 of these in one turn, with a good hand) Ancient Gear monsters are good targets to use with Urgent Schedule, which is is a free 2 special summons from the deck. Which then becomes a free Ancient Gear link monster, which is also a free search for ancient gear cards, and can pop one of your many face up spell cards that like to popped to get another free special summon from either hand, deck, or graveyard respectively(WHICH THEN STACKS WITH THE POPPED CARD'S EFFECT FOR ANOTHER FREE SPECIAL SUMMON). This is usually when you options select either Ancient Gear Wyvern, who then searches Ancient Gear Fusion (or more fusion fodder for your hand if Ancient Gear fusion is in your hand already), or Ancient Gear Golem(to mitigate loss of card advantage if you have Ancient Gear Fusion in your hand already), or Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon(For popping enemy back row, and or setting up more plays to summon True King of All Calamities). There's so much more that you can do to get this bad boy out, but you guys aren't here for full combo rundowns and everything. I only felt like I had to say something because Chaos Ancient Gear Golem BELOW Parshath is unacceptable to me.
Heya, love the vids, just wanna say it's not the first time I see the type of background used for the n°6, the one that's moving; it's kinda uncomfortable to look at for me and I fear it might be for some other motion-sick people too.
Granted, Avenging Knight Parshath being an extra deck monster is good, but a much better target for Rebirth of Parshath is Sacred Arch-Airknight Parshath. He has 200 more ATK (doesnt matter too much) and a significantly better effect, as well as piercing damage. His first effect allows you to summon him from the hand or grave when you activate a counter trap or negate one of your opponent's effects by banishing 2 fairies, which is only good in certain decks, granted. His other effect, though, is that every time he inflicts damage to your opponent, you get a "Parshath" card to hand, like another Rebirth, or any counter trap card to hand. Though ofc I see why Avenging Knight was in the list and not Sacred Arch-Airknight. Avenging Knight is much easier to throw into a deck that has counter traps, whereas you need to play a fairy deck to get the full benefit of Sacred Arch-Airknight.
Qliphort Shell should have been on the list. If Tribute Summoned, it can attack twice, deals piercing damage and it is immune to activated effects of Level/Rank 7 or lower monsters.
4:02 I did that in an Elemental Hero deck in WC 2007 with varying degrees of success. The best way to cheat out Cyber End Dragon there was using Last Will to Special Summon Cyber-Stein in defense position so the 5000 LP cost wouldn't be that bad.
It's kinda funny how many effects on a monster go unnoticed just because they happen to have one other OP effect. Just goes to show how powercreep has basically turned YuGiOh into "I forgot it could do that" the game.
The reason why Piercing Monsters (while still good) don't see too much play is because players usually don't play their monsters in defense mode. Especially when links are very viable in most players' decks and they can't go into defense mode at all. They would probably be really useful against a Superheavy samurai deck, or if you have your opponent's back to the wall where all they can do is play defense.
Honestly, one that should have made the list is one of the more OG piercers, Exarion Universe! Sure, doesn't have some broken effect, but it pretty much has THE highest stat total of all level 4 monsters that don't have negative effects on them at 1800atk/1900def (so can also be a great target for defense with something like Spikeshield with Chain essentially giving it 4200 defense if you need to defend in a pinch). Sure, it loses attack to get piercing damage, but it's still great in my opinion as a generic level 4 mon to use, sometimes simple effects are the best!
You forgot about the fusion buster blader, that card can single handidly OTK, it won me a few duels against crooked cook. Here's the secret: judgment rebirth...... It converts all grave monsters into dragons.
So your just gonna ignore that chaos ancient gear giant has protection in the form of Ancient gear fortress and you mentioned ancient gear fusion but needs ancient gear golem and ultimate pound as a hard to bring out but forgets that since he is a dark type Overload fusion can work too.
D/D/D Dragonbane King Beowulf gives all monsters in its archetype on the field piercing damage. And it's easy to load up 2 6k atk D/D/D Gust High King Alexanders next to him on first turn. I just think dragonbane deserves a spot on this list. Considering he also has a possible 'heavy storm' during your own standby phase

I don't know, but I think that Chaos Ancient Gear Giant doesn't deserve to be at the 10 spot. The summoning condition can be easily met and you can you use "Overload Fusion" to use your GY as well. "Predaplant Verte Anaconda" can take place too, so you can send the fusion spell from your deck directly. Just my opinion anyway, I'm totally sure that you already know all that XD. Nice video. There are plenty of Light-Attribute Angel-Type Monsters out there that revolve around Counter Traps, like Voltanis The Adjudicator. So Parshath would be able to slip pretty easily in there.
Not saying it's better than some of the ones in this list, but deskbot 007. He's a lvl7 machine type pendulum monster that has the ability to protect your other deskbot monsters from attacks by making all attacks be directed to him, gains 500 attack for each deskbot card in the grave and since deskbots are stupid easy to special summon in any way you want, you can abuse it to ftk your opponent. I've personally dealt with chaos max at least by baiting my opponent into attacking it, only to end up losing to my deskbot 007 at 22000 or even higher
It might not count, since it’s basically an archetypal equip card, but if I could put Superheavy Samurai Soulpiercer on this list it’d probably slot in around 6/7, as a monster that grants piercing damage and also is a non once per turn archetypal searcher for Superheavy Sam, if it ends up in the GY.
Piercing damage is only useful in two cases, first, the opponent bricked, and he tries to stall until he draw/search some good cards, and second, at mid/late duel, the opponent has low LP, and tries to build up some "emergency" defenses, or generally slow down the duel
Piercing damage is worthless against pure offense, tricky archetype in general, or "X category" monster spam, like Synchro, Pendulum or Synchro/pendulum spam which is generally similar to offense/hyper offense and super consistent deck
I'd have put Jack Jaguar somewhere in the middle, probably between the two Pringles on the list. It's always been one of the key cards in Salamangreat. Link material from the grave that adds in free recycling of link monsters for later reincarnations (or Miragestallio back in the day). Free summon of an 1800 Atk piercing beater is a huge bonus, too.
What about U.A Dreadnaught Dunker!? 2500 ATK, Piercing plus when it does damage you destroy one card if the field...plus if it’s equipped with its equip card, U.A. Powered, (additional 1000 ATK, 3500 ATK) Jersey it does double piercing and can attack twice... It does double piercing battle damage, then destroys a card, then it attacks again, does double piercing again and destroys another card, it’s easy to summon with a normal summoned U.A. Monster then special it to the field, then you can bounce it back to you hand and the equip card too at the end of the turn to protect it
...................It would still be broken in that case, possibly even more so than before. It would basically be a worse version of Graceful Charity, which is currently banned and has literally zero chance of coming off the banlist without an errata due to it's ability to set up your graveyard with any 2 cards you want on top of drawing 3; and any card that does the same thing but with one less card discarded as well as being drawn from your deck would still be heavily abused because of how much advantage you could potentially gain from this kind of effect. Even if it was only a hard once per turn effect, the kind of advantage you could get by discarding the right card would be so broken, it's not even funny, especially with how Yugioh is played right now.
You do know that garcefull charity is banned right? What you discribe is pot of greed becoming needed version of GC. Just use the legal pot or just use upstart if you wanted to draw more.

It was the best thing ever to have a high defense monster like aqua madoor be hit by spear dragon so they lost 100 lp and had to switch the spear dragon into defense mode then you attack it with your own spear dragon

Chaos ancient gear giant isn’t that hard to summon since ancient gear wyvern can search out materials like ancient gear box which searches out more materials for you and plus ancient gear golem isn’t that hard to summon thanks to cards like ancient gear catapult and ancient gear howitzer also it has decent protection so I think it deserves a higher spot on the list .
Also wanna throw this out there, a copy or two of E HERO Prisma goes a lot farther than you think

As a weirdo, I'd like to plead the case for Gem-Knight Ruby being on this list. I know Gems weren't really a hugely played archetype, but they're a favorite of mine and Ruby is a really solid one. A 2500 beatstick who is relatively easy to summon (just needs Garnet and any other Gem-Knight) and can absorb the attack of any other Gem you tribute plus piercing. A Duel Links combo I love is to use Gem-Knight Fusion to bring out Lady Brilliant Diamond, use her effect to turn something into Ruby, tribute Lady Brilliant Diamond for Ruby's effect, and attack. Anything with less than a 1900/1900 stat line (depending on battle position) results in an immediate OTK if the attack goes through

Something I didn’t see mentioned about the Blue Eyes Chaos Max combination is that if you pair it with the regular Blue Eyes Chaos Dragon, mind you I am aware of needing to use a blue eyes to gain the effect and it’s another ritual that is tough to bring out, you have a game winning combo right there and if you do it right I’m sure you can cheat out chaos max but still recommend doing Chaos’s normally so you can gain the effect of when he attacks your opponents monster, they switch battle positions and all their values are permanently set to 0, while doing normal piercing damage then follow up with Chaos max and you win the game if they are all switched to defense mode when Chaos Dragon attacks

I loved using Gaia Dragon in my Hieratic deck. I know Hieratics weren't really a super meta competitive deck, but going 2nd, opening into 2 Atums, brining out Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, using it's effect to bring out a Blue-Eyes from my hand or graveyard, then overlaying both Atums (who can't attack the turn they use their effect) into Gaia's, then swinging for game is one of my fondest memories of mid-2010's yugioh. It was the first time I ever legitimately OTK'd someone, and it felt so good

Metalfoes Orichalc can make the list. Grants double piercing to all your metalfoes monsters. Also very easy to bring out in that archetype.

Not even an honorable mention for D/D/D Dragonbane King Beowulf? I mean, he blows up all the cards in the S&T zones during the standby phase as well as gives all D/D monsters piercing battle damage. Whether the deck can make use of that is a different story though. ^^;
D/D/D-fusion monsters are fairly easy to summon in Duel Links, but it sucks that the backrow-destruction is almost literally Sacred Phoenix Of Nephthys. The fact that it can only be used during your own standby phase is a problem.
@@r4nd0mguy99 but hey, Beowulf is level soooo.... that's a thing. =3 Also, the destruction effect is optional, not mandatory. Let's say you have 3 Dark Contracts on your field with less than 2k LP left, Beowulf will save you from taking any burn damage because you can activate his destruction effect before the burn, even though they are mandatory and activates.

As an Ancient Gear player, I feel a little offended that you think 4 materials is a pain. I can crap out that big boy no problem in my deck. Chaos Giant isn't mean to stick around, it's meant to win you the game in a single go. Also MAX is easy to bring out in a proper deck for it. Watch your opponent immediately start searching for removal the moment that beast hits the field.

I feel that Spear Dragon should make an honorable mention, for it was one of the few cards that had piercing damage back then, especially with 1900 atk.
To be honest, i expected the sacred arch-airknight Parshath to be on the list and it clearly deserves to be in a high spot of it : It's a 2800 atk easily summonable beatstick and whose piercing effect allows the player to search ANY counter trap OR Parshath card in the deck...
I hope by the way that the archetype will get more support.

Chaos Giant in 10 but Parshath and Cyber End in 9 and 8? That's very off... Cyber End isn't played at all and the Parshath Counter Traps is much better used to summon the big MAIN DECK Parshath monster. Meanwhilw, Chaos Giant is one of thw win conditions in AGs, and let's not pretend it's difficult to gather 4 AGs OR summon a Golem.

Usually in those lists card are rates keeping an eye on their legacy. Cyber end dragon was much better in it's prime than Chaos Ancient Gear golem ever was.
BLS is a terrible boss monster by modern standards, but to deny it had more impact on YGO has a whole than 90% of the current bosses would be foolish.

I think Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon would've been a better choice to represent the Ancient gear archetype, especially with that spell/trap destruction.
But some great monsters to consider, Buster Blader The Dragon Destroyer Swordsman (very fun to combo with DNA surgery), Dark Calvary (also negates). 9 tailed fox (drops tokens upon death), and Cyber Angel Dakini.
I thunk all good ones in my opinion.
Aromage Bergamot also do piercing and affects other plants not just only him.

No mention to Great Emperor Manju Garzet? It saw a lot of play in Dark Matter Hieratics when Dragon Rulers and Dark Matter were legal in the OCG, was a combo piece that happened to have piercieng damage, but was only played by being a lv 8 monster that could special summon itself easily in the deck

U.A. Dreadnought Dunker is also a good piercing damage card that when your opponent loses life points you can destroy a card on the field
In yugioh legacy of the duelist: link evolution, I made a deck using nightingale and getting that card to a absurd level is pretty hard, which is how its balanced but the most I got it to was 4500 ATK, and 3500 effect damage
Aromage Bergamot deserves an honorable mention. Plants are easy to get on the field and its effect allows it to easily get a LOT of atk points
For Gaia Dragon, it's more worth noting that while it was used for its piercing, it was most often actually used just to get an attack in by replacing a monster that otherwise would not have been able to attack. Piercing and having 2600 certainly helps.

Chaos Ancient Gear Golem should AT LEAST have been above Parshath imo.
Here's why:
He's easy to bring out in one turn, and is WORTH the resources to bring him out most of the time
Is a win condition on its own
Is a target for Overload Fusion(Which also makes it possible to bring out 2 of these in one turn, with a good hand)
Ancient Gear monsters are good targets to use with Urgent Schedule, which is is a free 2 special summons from the deck. Which then becomes a free Ancient Gear link monster, which is also a free search for ancient gear cards, and can pop one of your many face up spell cards that like to popped to get another free special summon from either hand, deck, or graveyard respectively(WHICH THEN STACKS WITH THE POPPED CARD'S EFFECT FOR ANOTHER FREE SPECIAL SUMMON).
This is usually when you options select either Ancient Gear Wyvern, who then searches Ancient Gear Fusion (or more fusion fodder for your hand if Ancient Gear fusion is in your hand already), or Ancient Gear Golem(to mitigate loss of card advantage if you have Ancient Gear Fusion in your hand already), or Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon(For popping enemy back row, and or setting up more plays to summon True King of All Calamities).
There's so much more that you can do to get this bad boy out, but you guys aren't here for full combo rundowns and everything. I only felt like I had to say something because Chaos Ancient Gear Golem BELOW Parshath is unacceptable to me.

Granted, Avenging Knight Parshath being an extra deck monster is good, but a much better target for Rebirth of Parshath is Sacred Arch-Airknight Parshath. He has 200 more ATK (doesnt matter too much) and a significantly better effect, as well as piercing damage. His first effect allows you to summon him from the hand or grave when you activate a counter trap or negate one of your opponent's effects by banishing 2 fairies, which is only good in certain decks, granted. His other effect, though, is that every time he inflicts damage to your opponent, you get a "Parshath" card to hand, like another Rebirth, or any counter trap card to hand.
Though ofc I see why Avenging Knight was in the list and not Sacred Arch-Airknight. Avenging Knight is much easier to throw into a deck that has counter traps, whereas you need to play a fairy deck to get the full benefit of Sacred Arch-Airknight.
Qliphort Shell should have been on the list. If Tribute Summoned, it can attack twice, deals piercing damage and it is immune to activated effects of Level/Rank 7 or lower monsters.
4:02 I did that in an Elemental Hero deck in WC 2007 with varying degrees of success. The best way to cheat out Cyber End Dragon there was using Last Will to Special Summon Cyber-Stein in defense position so the 5000 LP cost wouldn't be that bad.

It's kinda funny how many effects on a monster go unnoticed just because they happen to have one other OP effect. Just goes to show how powercreep has basically turned YuGiOh into "I forgot it could do that" the game.
The reason why Piercing Monsters (while still good) don't see too much play is because players usually don't play their monsters in defense mode. Especially when links are very viable in most players' decks and they can't go into defense mode at all. They would probably be really useful against a Superheavy samurai deck, or if you have your opponent's back to the wall where all they can do is play defense.

Honestly, one that should have made the list is one of the more OG piercers, Exarion Universe! Sure, doesn't have some broken effect, but it pretty much has THE highest stat total of all level 4 monsters that don't have negative effects on them at 1800atk/1900def (so can also be a great target for defense with something like Spikeshield with Chain essentially giving it 4200 defense if you need to defend in a pinch). Sure, it loses attack to get piercing damage, but it's still great in my opinion as a generic level 4 mon to use, sometimes simple effects are the best!
You forgot about the fusion buster blader, that card can single handidly OTK, it won me a few duels against crooked cook. Here's the secret: judgment rebirth...... It converts all grave monsters into dragons.
So your just gonna ignore that chaos ancient gear giant has protection in the form of Ancient gear fortress and you mentioned ancient gear fusion but needs ancient gear golem and ultimate pound as a hard to bring out but forgets that since he is a dark type Overload fusion can work too.
D/D/D Dragonbane King Beowulf gives all monsters in its archetype on the field piercing damage. And it's easy to load up 2 6k atk D/D/D Gust High King Alexanders next to him on first turn. I just think dragonbane deserves a spot on this list. Considering he also has a possible 'heavy storm' during your own standby phase

I don't know, but I think that Chaos Ancient Gear Giant doesn't deserve to be at the 10 spot. The summoning condition can be easily met and you can you use "Overload Fusion" to use your GY as well. "Predaplant Verte Anaconda" can take place too, so you can send the fusion spell from your deck directly. Just my opinion anyway, I'm totally sure that you already know all that XD. Nice video. There are plenty of Light-Attribute Angel-Type Monsters out there that revolve around Counter Traps, like Voltanis The Adjudicator. So Parshath would be able to slip pretty easily in there.
Not saying it's better than some of the ones in this list, but deskbot 007. He's a lvl7 machine type pendulum monster that has the ability to protect your other deskbot monsters from attacks by making all attacks be directed to him, gains 500 attack for each deskbot card in the grave and since deskbots are stupid easy to special summon in any way you want, you can abuse it to ftk your opponent. I've personally dealt with chaos max at least by baiting my opponent into attacking it, only to end up losing to my deskbot 007 at 22000 or even higher

It might not count, since it’s basically an archetypal equip card, but if I could put Superheavy Samurai Soulpiercer on this list it’d probably slot in around 6/7, as a monster that grants piercing damage and also is a non once per turn archetypal searcher for Superheavy Sam, if it ends up in the GY.
Top 10 Card Erratas that made the cards better? Seems complex, but I think it can be done and would be a unique list
Piercing damage is only useful in two cases, first, the opponent bricked, and he tries to stall until he draw/search some good cards, and second, at mid/late duel, the opponent has low LP, and tries to build up some "emergency" defenses, or generally slow down the duel
Piercing damage is worthless against pure offense, tricky archetype in general, or "X category" monster spam, like Synchro, Pendulum or Synchro/pendulum spam which is generally similar to offense/hyper offense and super consistent deck
Bora was the centre of a Combo Piece also involving Gale and Sirocco in the first appearance of Crow in 5D's.
It is not that difficult to bring out Chaos Ancient Gear Giant with Overload Fusion.
You still need to set up your GY. The easiest way is using Catapult on geartown to SS Golem and wyvern then use wyvern effect to add AG Fusion.
I'd have put Jack Jaguar somewhere in the middle, probably between the two Pringles on the list. It's always been one of the key cards in Salamangreat. Link material from the grave that adds in free recycling of link monsters for later reincarnations (or Miragestallio back in the day). Free summon of an 1800 Atk piercing beater is a huge bonus, too.

One of my favourite uses of SK Starving Venom Fusion Dragon was to copy odd-eyes pendulum dragons effect in grave.
What about U.A Dreadnaught Dunker!? 2500 ATK, Piercing plus when it does damage you destroy one card if the field...plus if it’s equipped with its equip card, U.A. Powered, (additional 1000 ATK, 3500 ATK) Jersey it does double piercing and can attack twice...
It does double piercing battle damage, then destroys a card, then it attacks again, does double piercing again and destroys another card, it’s easy to summon with a normal summoned U.A. Monster then special it to the field, then you can bounce it back to you hand and the equip card too at the end of the turn to protect it

...................It would still be broken in that case, possibly even more so than before. It would basically be a worse version of Graceful Charity, which is currently banned and has literally zero chance of coming off the banlist without an errata due to it's ability to set up your graveyard with any 2 cards you want on top of drawing 3; and any card that does the same thing but with one less card discarded as well as being drawn from your deck would still be heavily abused because of how much advantage you could potentially gain from this kind of effect. Even if it was only a hard once per turn effect, the kind of advantage you could get by discarding the right card would be so broken, it's not even funny, especially with how Yugioh is played right now.
You do know that garcefull charity is banned right? What you discribe is pot of greed becoming needed version of GC. Just use the legal pot or just use upstart if you wanted to draw more.

Chaos Giant doesn’t negate monster effects. Your opponent cannot activate monster effects at all. It’s a really big difference.
