I just love this stitch last year I made 5 scarves using this stitch for my friend and her family she asked me if I would make scarves and I said sure and they turned out beautiful! Watching this video makes me want to do a blanket now for myself finally lol ! Thank you for sharing and reminding me how beautiful this stitch truly is!
I have been looking for a good, clear tutorial for the moss stitch and this is it. You go slow enough and explain every step which is important to a beginner like me. Thank you!
Thank You so much for your Tutorial on the Moss Stitch. I had already looked at a couple of tutorials but your tutorial was the one that clicked in my head and I understood it much better. I Appreciate it!
Hi Nati, I am a beginner and I love the look of this stitch. I want to make a blanket approximately 70-75 inches wide. Could you tell me about how many chain stitches to start with?
Dear very nice point. I did. It is reversible I like much. I want make the cap too with same point. Greetings from Costa Rica. Saludos desde Costa Rica
I’m making a blanket with this stitch and I didn’t even know what it was called. When I saw the tutorial I was like, “That’s the stitch I’m doing on my blanket. “ It uses chunky yarn and I am liking this stitch very much. Thank you for another excellent tutorial.
Excellent tutorials easy explanation and beautiful outcome thank you very much for sharing going crazy making scarfs for Christmas with all your different patterns 👋👍🤗😊😊😊
So, when you have ss into your final chain you ch1 and turn. Is that considered the first slstst in of r2? Then hdc in hdc, slst in next slst etc to end? The stitches sit on each other. Slst over slst. Hdc over hdc? I have short term memory issues from a stroke. Just want to be sure I am getting it right.
Thank you so much for your time to make your videos and show so very well how to do these stitch and beautiful clean nail so nice instead of all this bright nail varnish. You now have all your videos I have found so far in a file just of yours.
Nati I love your tutorials but this one for some reason didn't stay in full view of the camera. I was able to figure it out though and thank you for sharing your skills
Thank you for your lovely videos! I‘ve done the moss stitch and the trinity stitch from your tutorials and they‘re so easy to understand. Now I would like to make a moss stitch hat. How would I increase the circle in moss stitch?
Thank you so very much for your video. It's so easy to follow. I want to crochet a scarf for my husband, maybe 8 to 10 inches wide. I can calculate the number of chains myself, to get the approximate width. I just have one question.... What would the multiples be, to know how many chains. At first I thought I should chain even number of chains. But then I see that I have to begin and end with a slip stitch. So, would I chain multiples of 2 plus 1 more chain? Thanks for any help you can give me. :)
You chain multiples of 2. We chain even numbers of chains, but because we skip the first chain in the beginning we're gone end up with odd number of stitches. let's say you chain 20 chains, but after the first row you are left with 19 stitches. Remember that you start the first row with slip stitch you finish the 1st row with slip stitch in the last chain. When you start next row you start with a half double crochet and finish with a half double crochet in the last stitch. Next row you start with the slip stitch and finish with a slip stitch. And so on, you alternate how you start each row. I hope my explanation helped you. Happy Crochet!
I would also like to take notice to your index finger nails. Please have your doctor check your blood oxygen levels and your lungs. When your nails begin to turn downward like that it usually has something to do with lower oxygen levels in the blood and issues with the lower lung. Please get checked. God bless.
You’re right. A month ago someone told me the same thing. So, I went for a check up, my iron and copper very low. The doctor put me on pills to see if can be improved the deficiency, if not they will have to put me on IV for Iron. Thank you for your concern, you’re very kind. Have a great day!

Nati I love your tutorials but this one for some reason didn't stay in full view of the camera. I was able to figure it out though and thank you for sharing your skills
Sorry about that
Are all stitches done in the back loop only?
would be nice to see a sample of the stitch at the beginning.
If I'm using a 2 weight lightweight yarn what size hook size should I use to get an airy look with good drape for a pullover top, kimono, or shawl?
Are you doing the slip stitch in back loop?
I'm not sure if I missed the instruction... Do we chain one after every row before turning?
Yes,at end of the row chain 1, turn and start the new row.
@@naticrochet thank you! ❤️
Thank you for the video, very helpful.

Beautiful stitch, I want to use this as a border for a blanket (yarn is Bernat Blanket), how would you do the corners? Thank you.
DanielleAF 3stitches in the same stitch for corners. So with 2 slst and one hdc or 2 hdc and one slst.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ use This in tote bag crochet 26.09.2023
Would you put a fringe on a mans scarf?😊
Sure, if you know that he will not mind.
How do you start the chain?
