DEVOTION TO SACRED HEART IMMACULATE HEART THE MOST CHASTE HEART OF JESUS MARY ST JOSEPH POOR SOULS IN PURGATORY ROSARY DIVINE MERCY MY PRIEST CHURCH FRIENDS THE POPE LIVE HONORABLY PEACEFULLY WITH NEIGHBORS
Absolutely agree the tabernacle must be the centre of the altar. Its disrespectful to shunt Jesus off to a side altar. Whose idea was THAT? Its shameful and demeaning to Jesus to be shunted off to a side altar. Bring back altar rails, communion on the tongue. I too think there should be more dignity given to priests but they are encouraged to keep up with the latest sports results wiich is great but not appropriate during mass. Then theres the clapping and embarrased nodding that goes on. The mass IS enough without all this!
That's great information, Dr. Christine. I've seen the Eucharist convert to a flaming light during the Fractional Rite about seven times recently. It's the greatest grace to witness the real presence, especially when others do not see it. It seems to me that most Catholics, if they prayed the rosary every day-at least three rosaries, particularly on Sunday-confessed regularly, spent quiet time in prayer at the front of the Church a few hours before mass until mass, and prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet, rosaries, and at least one Saint Gertrude Chaplet before Mass, and regularly performed small acts of kindness that emulate Saint Therese (the Little Flower), would, over time, begin to see the Eucharist convert briefly into flaming light above the altar during the Fractional Rite. This started to occur for me after a solid year of steadily praying the rosary, attending regular confession, and concentrating on praying for the welfare of others. The conversion to light always begins from the bottom upward on the broken halves of the Eucharist when they are held up by the priest in attendance. We are too cold towards our God, and He wishes to be with His creations. II see this conversion for about half a second up to about six seconds. I think I see it as I understand God is lonely, and we were created in his image as companions. We were created as he was lonely, and let's consider that God is lonely and wishes us to use our free will - a gift freely given by God - to choose God over worldly concerns. I approach the Mass by giving God-the Triune God-the respect and love due to the Creator, and the worship due to the Uncreated, who literally keeps us in existence with His every thought.
Let us not be confused: God wants to walk with us, and the person below, while loving, is confused, and wishes to confuse others, and in that the challenge and is so perfectly noted in our Catechism of the Catholic Church (...and please, we are referring to an outside compass of morality in these times, not an internal guide that so many go by today). Just like so many young men and woman do selfies of themselves, a form of self loving idolatry, we also don't want to do selfies of internal morality, where we impose our internal compass on the external morality that God laid out over thousands of years. In these times we find ourselves in, we need to focus on substantive background information, such as the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which, beyond the cries of the those impacted, does address issues related to gender identity and transitioning within the context of its broader teachings on human dignity and sexuality. Here are some key points right from said Catecism of the Catholic Church, which I quote: Sexual Identity: The Catechism states that everyone should acknowledge and accept their sexual identity as male or female, which is given by God at birth. It emphasizes that physical, moral, and spiritual differences between men and women are oriented toward the goods of marriage and family life. Complementarity: The Catechism highlights the complementarity of men and women, which is rooted in their biological differences. This complementarity is seen as essential for the harmony of the couple and society. Respect and Dignity: The Catechism teaches that each person, whether male or female, should be respected and treated with dignity. It calls for pastoral charity and compassion in addressing situations involving gender dysphoria, while also upholding the truth of one's created nature. Chastity: The Catechism emphasizes the importance of chastity and modesty, guiding individuals to live in accordance with their sexual identity and the dignity of their bodies. So the idea of say, living in sin, having sex outside marriage, or same sex couples, or transitioning individuals , who are called for a life of abstaining from sex if their urges are adverse to what the creator wants - not what we want- is the challenge. If you meet that particularly hard challenge, you win the crown, and have eternal life.
I can't stand when I see the events and talks held inside the church. Bands and their equipment put up in front of the altar. It is disrespectful. I won't attend any more functions that do that.
So enjoy reading along with you. I'm so happy I bought this book 3 years ago. My sister died and I was so sad.
Thank you, Christine. You are providing us with a great service. God bless you and your viewers. (Melbourne, Australia)

Thank you for sharing. I don't think The Trinity was so much lonely as overflowing with love that they wanted to share beyond themselves ❤

Vatican 2 did this
Our parish is OUR LADY OF FATIMA, but I hardly hear a story of Fatima,
It not emphasized.
