You have such a gift for reading to others! Praying for the Holy Souls is my favorite devotion. A couple weeks ago when I went to confession, the priest asked me if I would like to read and pray a novena for the Holy Souls. I had to control a squeal of delight! I told him I would love to and that the Holy Souls are my favorite devotion! He said there were 30 days on the prayer sheets but I only had to do three days for my penance. He reached his hand outside his door to hand me the prayer sheets. A few days later I saw him and told him how much I was enjoying my penance and that I was praying the entire 30 days. He told me that the Holy Souls were enjoying my penance even more than I was! I'm 72 years old, but that penance was like a surprise stocking stuffer to a little girl on Christmas morning!!!
Oh, thank you Jesus! I asked, I knocked and I sought You out, Father. And as always You answered me... Oh my Lord, how You validate my soul when I only deserve the fire... Christine, I became a Eucharistic Minister a while back. But I have been struggling with the unworthiness to touch our Lord with my hands, as well as His laws of only males should be involved and around the alter. I take Communion on the tongue and have vowed to only pass out the wine in the Chalice. But watching almost ALL of the congregation take the Lord in the hand, I have been asking for replacements for my scheduled masses as of late. And get to the church super early when I am scheduled so that I can sign in for the Chalice and not the Ciborium... Although recently, I was caught off guard when one of the EUM didn't show up, so they asked me to take their place. When Fr. Thi handed me the Ciborium, my heart sank... I can't keep avoiding this, so I just asked our Father for answers... If it is something offending our Savior, I cannot do it! I will not! I have offended HIm enough in this lifetime. I volunteer for other ministries as well. I teach CCD to the little ones and another class to the teens, also a sister in the Catholic Daughter of the Americas (CDA) and do whatever else comes up to help out... so I thought. "Well, I will drop out of the EUM and begin to Read?" Something that I've also wanted to do. But when I couldn't walk, I knew I couldn't make it up the two steps to read at the podium, I also couldn't stand up straight at that time to be able to look at the Book... Then, Maria Simma also mentioned that women should not be reading as welll... My heart is heavy with all of these changes to the church and I have also been asking our parish priest about bringing the church bells back! Christine, please help me to continue the prayers of changing our laws back and taking back our true places in the church and the Vatican... Modernism should not and has NEVER been part of our faith. Even our Bibles have been watered down... My eyes can only cry so many tears of anguish when we as the laity watch this destruction of our churches... (Sighs) Thank you so much for this series. I have added the playlist to my channel, I hope that is ok? Love you, Angela 🥰🙏✝
@eyesofamessenger you are not alone in this. My mother used to be a eucharistic minister, and she no longer can do so for the same reasons. And I read at my church, but I heard those words as well. So I know it's not a sin, but we don't want to offend the Lord. So if the church changes back to where women are not allowed there, then obviously we won't do it. We just need to stay in line with what the church teaches and as well as our informed consciences with it.
Wow! This is so powerful. I have felt such a strong desire/ pull to pray and offer Holy Communion for the poor souls lately. My biggest regret is not doing it sooner. By the Grace of God I have been getting to Mass as much as I can daily. Thank you for sharing this with us. I am so happy to have found your channel by His grace.🙏🏻✝️ God bless you!
These are so excellent. Thank you. My non-Catholic, non church going friend died 2 weeks ago “out of the blue”. I tried to give her little tidbits of pearls of wisdom here and there without being overbearing hoping that one day I could tell her more when she could appreciate it and absorb it. The last time we met, I got her to the movie, “The Great Warning”. That was the last time we saw each other. It was late, and we were going to discuss the movie at a later date - but she died so unexpectedly just over 30 hours later. I wish I knew how to tell her more sooner. Now I hope to convey this information to her non-church attending children all of this so they can take it in and not think it is all nonsense. 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for all your efforts to spread this very important message. I have now realised I must be far more pro-active in my help for the Holy Souls.
The introduction of Communion-in-the-Hand in the 1960s has led to a nonchalence regarding the Holy Eucharist. While theologians debate how Communion was received in the early Church, Communion-in-the-Hand was adopted by the 16th century protestant "reformers" so as to diminish the signifance of the Eucharist in the minds of the faithful. Are we supposed to believe that in the hands of 20th/21st cenury Catholics this practice is somehow an improvement or are we blind? Some years back, in a church far from his home, a friend of mine had an interesting experience. At Communion time, the bulk of the congregation, seated on the left side, went up and received on the hand. The friend was seated on the right side and he was not paying great attention to the two men some pews in front of him. At this time, the friend usually genuflected then received on the tongue while standing. The first man went up and received in this manner as did the second. Then, the friend went up as though he were the "Third Man". (No, not Harry Lime!) The friend later related how though his blood had been "boiling" earlier seeing all those people receiving in the hand now felt the Lord saying, "now you know you are not the only one!" Regardless of what the Church allows, we should receive as reverently as possible and the friend has gone now to "kneeling while reciving on the tongue". While the effects of Communion-in-the-Hand regarding reverence should have been monitored, it seems that they have not!
The issue here, Dr. Christine, is people do not really believe they are receiving the body and blood of Christ. Exorcist priests have said that when demons see the Holy Eucharist, they see the true body of Christ which they know should be revered. You don't see hand holding or the sign of peace in TLM masses.
Thank you so much for this video it was really good , information that I didn’t know about, Why aren’t priests informing us of all these things? Have a Blessed day 💕
Obedience to the Church is Obedience to Jesus Christ, so if the Church allows reception of the Holy Eucharist in the hand, then this Obedience to the Church pleases God more than the pride of the laity who don't obey. JMJ
@matthewbroderick6287 agreed, but that doesn't mean that Jesus doesn't prefer communion on the tongue because He sees how communion in the hand is abused, has led to loss of faith and sacrilege. Satan LOVES communion in the hand for these reasons REGARDLESS that the Church approved it and God allowed it. God also allows many other evil things to take place, too... for a time... but yes, we agree. It's approved.
@DrChristineBacon of course, it's simply your own fallible opinion that the Holy Eucharist in the hand is evil and blasphemous! I agree, God allows proud and arrogant people who like you, think they know God's will better than His teaching authority! Satan loves people who like you as well, falsely claims to know what is holier than the Church does You are in my prayers as you journey toward Truth! JMJ
@DrChristineBacon Of course you are simply providing your own fallible opinion that receiving the Holy Eucharist in the hand is evil! Satan really loves people who think as you do, claiming to know what really pleases God, rather than His Church authority! You are in my prayers as you journey toward Truth! God's grace and peace to you always! JMJ
@matthewbroderick6287 i NEVER said surgery of those things. You'd better learn to read and lose your blinders. You're so defensive that you're not hearing anything other than what you want to hear.
@DrChristineBacon you DID say such things! You said God allowed evil things when people receive Holy Eucharist in the hands! I read it several times! People also abuse the Holy Eucharist with reception on the tongue as well! Well, God allows such evil things too then, no? Pride is claiming to know what is more pleasing to God than His Church authority! Do you truly know more than the Church what God prefers? You are in my prayers as you journey toward Truth! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink
I get so annoyed by clapping at Mass, particularly at the end of Mass, when applause breaks out for the folk group/casual singers, who, for the most part, do not sing regularly known Hymns that the congregation can join in, and certainly Hymns to Our Lady are far and few between.
Thanks Christine. I’ve wondered if I should tell my priests and all the extra communion ministers about this? Every single church I’ve been to here in New Zealand does communion in the hand and with the ministers, however they will offer it in the mouth for those who want it. How do I tell my priests and extraordinarily ministers they are wrong? I feel like I have no authority to do this. I don’t know what to do.
@Catholicdownunder127 they're not WRONG. They wouldn't listen to that. I'd offer them the book or forward the video. It'll not make them as defensive. Then just pray. If you do talk, explain why Satan prefers it (according to what you're hearing) and leave their decision in God's hands.
So, early Christian are sinners because they received communion on their hand? Very pro conservative ideology. I love mass however, this person is advocating the Latin Mass before the early Christian celebrate Mass pre Latin Mass. Just think about it. who is this Maria Simma? Is she approved by Rome?
@Qofpeace did you not listen to the video? No one said communion in the hand is a sin. LISTEN! It says it's not leading to God because it's less reverent AND makes it so much easier to lose faith in the real presence (which has happened) and allow Satanists to get their hands on it. Please listen to these videos carefully before rash statements.

It is so very interesting learning what Maria S. had experienced with the souls in Purgatory. Thank you Christine, and God bless you and your viewers.

Christine I’m sure you are aware of studies done that proves when one receives in the hand , there are particles left on the hand!
@maryannstypa4859 yes. VERY aware... and thus on the ground too.
@ Poor Jesus! How we disrespect HIM. So horrific. 🥲
Is the NO mass included in helping Souls in Purgatory?
@leaann5521 absolutely! We pray daily at my NO for the souls!
When Jesus presided over the Last Supper, did he put the bread on the tongue of the attendees, or hand a bit of bread to each? Hmmmmmm!
@jadonovan8065 it was said that He fed them directly in the mouth as was the Jewish custom back then but who knows for sure?
Some mystics confirm He fed them by mouth
Those at the Last Supper were His Apostles- priests.
