If you’re scared of dying because you want to live forever, then just think yourself lucky. It means your life is alright, you aren’t suffering, not truly. Yes you may have the usual ups and downs that life brings, but if you don’t want it to end then you have it good. Try to be grateful for that and live the life you do have as full as you can.
Also it’s okay to be afraid of dying, as dying is often painful, but don’t be afraid of death itself. You won’t know the difference. Just like during anaesthesia, only you’ll never reflect on it, there’s no going to be no emotion, no fear. (Or if you’re religious you get to comfort yourself with the thought of heaven which is supposed to be paradise, so no fear necessary at all with that one.)

You are correct that we won't know any different when we are dead, just like under anesthesia we don't know anything and just like before we are born we never knew anything, that really is not comforting for me, because what terrifies me is the thought of never knowing anything or experiencing anything ever again, it's completely correct that we won't care when we are dead because we cannot care and that's what is scary/

@@konan8353 The human race has spent its entirely existance rationalising predicaments - its what we refer to as 'philosophy'.
