    I really like the new list structure! nice work :)
    I'd maybe move building tags to C, given that there are a lot of really bad building tags with all expansions - asteroid deflection system, corporate stronghold/underground city/lava tube, food/soil factory, magnetic field dome/gens, equatorial magnetizer, martian rails, dets, meltworks, bumpers (horrendous with colonies), all the power hungry production like fuel fac/building industries/rad chem/carbonate (also very questionable with colonies) etc etc.
    and very few id consider scary to pass given how many there are in the game - basically just AI, RO, mars u/olympus, sub-crust, dev center, mohole, wildlife dome are all i can think of, and that list is shorter than (and mostly composed of) the one for science tags despite there being way more building tags in the game
    i thought of it like - if i wasnt sitting on a ton of steel, would i rather draw a card or a building tag (factorum)? i feel like id much rather the card most of the time

      Very good points! Now that I look at your list of trashy building tags, I feel like C tier would've been justified.

    It will be curious to see if the 10 new projects with venus tag from prelude 2 will help out this tag's rating.

      10 is a significant number, but only really if you're playing exclusively with Venus Next - with all expansions those 10 cards will just drown in the huge deck :D

    For the tag list:
    Ecologist will work normally with M&A. There's a mistake in the rules from Kickstarter.
    You've forgotten about Robotic Workforce (and also there will być Cyberia Systems in new promo pack) as for the building combo. I still think Space tag is stronger, since there are more combos and more ways to make the titanium worth more MC than similar options for steel.
    I'm sad the none tag has nothing new to offer in Prelude 2 (except for Sagitta and the new ways to put preludes in play which usually have no tag).
    I think that's wrong you talk about green combo potential and let the plant tag benefit from it the most. I think the combo potential of plant, animal and microbe tags is more similar to each other (although the order of them should remain the same). Plant is the strongest of them but NRA and Insects drown in the huge deck so that's a reason to demote it from S for me.
    You also forget about the Unity combo potential (Earth, Venus, Jovian) which will get more help in Prelude 2. Of course it's less valuable than the green combo but all of its components have their own good combo while in green combo the biggest potential is located in the cards referring to any of the tags (I mean that Plant and maybe Microbe has some valuable combos and the Animal has any). And as someone said - Venus tag gets better in Prelude 2.
    For the cards with tag value list:
    I think Event Tag is not S tier. Cheap event cards are not so flashy. I think space cards are in general better.
    Also I think power cards are over-priced. They're quite essential but usually only in low quantity. So I'd say they should be behind space and event cards which you can play over and over.
    Also the building tag before jovians looks quite strange.

      Thanks for the rules update! I'm still waiting for my Prelude 2 shipment, so I didn't know that the Ecologist change was a mistake.
      Yeah, it's right that Insects and NRA drown in the deck if you play with all expansions, I think I didn't factor that in correctly...
      The Unity combo is good, but not enough for me to influence the planetary tag ratings - it's "just" 1 MC (but of course very valuable in engine strategies).

      When I was referring to the Unity combo, I was thinking not only about the party, but also cards that require or gove benefits to combinations of these three tags. And there's a new milestone - Planetologist which requires 2 sets of planet tags.

      @@marsexpert4276 I've forgotten that in M&A there's an award for no tag cards. In games with it they're slightly better. But other tags usually have their own ones...

      @@tomaszvexling Yeah there are a few cards that require planetary tags or a combination of them (Sister Planet Support is the only one that comes to mind for me), but I think I correctly factored those in in my analysis.
      And yeah, I don't think that one milestone is now going to make no-tag-cards significantly better. Sure in games where it's active they are more valuable, but with so many possible milestones now that doesn't change the average that much...

      You can check out my rating base-game cards series where I talk about all of the cards. Basically, this category includes some of the best cards in the game that are just hugely influential (Deimos Down, Giant Ice Asteroid, Large Convoy and more) and they have a lot of combo potential with space discounts (Space Station, Mass Converter, ...) and event rebates (Media Group and Optimal Aerobreaking). Also, you can pay for them with titanium and they work in both a rush and an engine style game.
