Was working for a Landscaping company in London in 1990, and 3 of us Australian guys worked at his house in West Hampstead. He was the most humble and down to earth guy you could imagine, would bring out coffee and biscuits. His mother was the same, she brought him up well. Wish he was still here, we lost a real good one!
I still feel his absence. He was one of my favorite artists. I remember watching my daughter opening presents Christmas morning when a text came through about his death. I was gutted all day and now every year around Christmas I feel bummed that he is gone - that voice is so special

Dear George, his voice howls from the pain of his broken heart. The raw vulnerability in his voice alone, is beautiful, then the lyrics just cut right through my soul. I loved this song in 1987, and as of 2024 it still lives in my heart, as it absolutely should! 💯 ❤😊

I didn’t appreciate this song until years later. At the time I was 17 when this track came out. I was listening to hair metal bands. Then the early nineties came out and then switched to grunge. Now I can appreciate all forms of music. Thank goodness for RUclips a lot of these artists are gone and now we have video’s and memories. Rip George Michael you might be gone but not forgotten.
